LOVE this place! If you are a sushi fan they make fresh sushi! Nothing super fancy but it’s definitely great for a few cheap rolls!! $13 for unlimited sushi??? Can’t beat that! Other than that the rest of their food is pretty good too! I like the popcorn shrimp & the seafood mix with crab meat they have. 4 stars cuz they restrooms are usually gross and half operable & they let the restaurant get pretty packed for a buffet during a pandemic. And their labels for the food are very off.

The food was fresh, hot, so much verity. You can't go wrong here. $40.00 to feed 2 adults. Will cost you that much anywhere, but you'll only get one Plate, anywhere else.

To be honest this place is great. When I came ice machine was broken but it’s fixed now. Great sushi! The chicken did feel kinda hard but somehow it was good.

Haven't been here for a long time when it was still habachi grills. It's still pretty good. Love the pork buns. Sushi is better than most buffet. They got crepe and cotton candy too. 10/19/23 went there for lunch. Oh man, while fast food price is getting higher, this place is still the best bang for the buck. 2 kids 1 adults and only like $34 with one share soda drink. Nothing wrong with sharing one cup haha.

there are roaches everywhere, we always see them sweeping the bugs up but never killing them 🤢. we find bugs in our food and the manager (she wouldn’t tell us her name either, hiding it so we cant report) just dismiss and it told us it wasn’t a bug . there black mold in the kitchen , and also we found rats around the dining area and the ceiling!!! place is horrible, food has no flavor, always cold , or things are to hard to eat. always see people throwing up after they finish eating this food

Champion Grill for me has always been the best Chinese food in Merced County. They offer so much. Even salad that I don't eat because I can eat salad at home. If I'm going to a Chinese restaurant I'm going to eat Chinese food not American food LOL. Most all their food is really great. This has been for years that I have loved it. They have a grill that you choose your food to have grilled. The orange chicken has been unedible for more than a year. It tastes like they do not rehydrate it correctly. It's like eating dried meat that was frozen. Like jerky. Horrible. Everything else is usually good. Update 8/14/23 five of us went there and there seemed to be so much oil or Grease in everything that we all were sickened by it. None of us ate very much of it. It was horrible that day. I don't know if they had a different cook or what? Somebody needs to get to the bottom of this. This has been my favorite place but this day was a horrible experience with all the food we ate. Even the crab was not creamy it had oil on it instead. Horrible. Somebody went crazy with the oil. Please fix this and respond to me we will not be back until then. And fix that orange chicken Update 11/8/23 I went with my brother to get some food he wanted to go here and we got take out. Still the orange chicken is not edible. I submitted a video. But all the meats were kind of dry and hard. But I never get a response so I'm guessing champion officials will not even read this. I guess I'm going to make panda my new favorite

Disabled parking. Seating is congested. No privacy from other guests. Food is good. Choice is plentiful and satisfying. Cool atmosphere. Waitresses are energetic, with little conversation to customers. If going on holidays, make sure you're aware of a bit of a wait time.

Is a lot of better than las management and great dishes to choose, service is fast and ladies try to keep clean as they can I dont give the 5 stars due feels a bit warm inside i was sweating when i was eating

Stopped here on the way back home from Yosemite. Not what i was expecting. Saw a line of people so as an out of towner fell for it . Food was cold,dry and hard. Staff only show you to your table the rest is up to you. Do not recommend.

If you already know what you like from here then the to go box is the best option. I love having the salt and pepper shrimp, it's my favorite in town. Their wings hit the spot, and the sushi is nice too, along with their baked fish. They also have some options for picky eaters like pizza, fries, and nuggets. This place is very mid to low tier Chinese food, avoid their noodles and rice as they're very bland. Their orange chicken and spicy pork are usually extremely chewy, and sometimes the chicken on a stick is so chewy that it's like jerky. They have SOME good food items but it's not worth the price, just buy a box to go so you only pay for what you enjoy.

Like many buffets at this price point much of the food is of low quality. 4 stars is for value. If you come at 3 you will pay lunch price and still enjoy most of the dinner optio ns. Many seafood options. Recomend the clams. Avoid mussels and crawfish imo. Must try: Bbq ribs, pork buns, sushi. Dining room is nice. Bathrooms need attention but acceptable. Friendly hostess.

We went Christmas day and it was a lot of fun! Food was delicious. My only complaint, and this is even a stretch, was that the temp of the food could have been hotter. Some of my stuff was cold by the time I got to my table to eat. Aside from that it was fantastic and I'll be back soon.

The worst pizza I’ve ever had in all my years of living. There was barley any cheese, it was just sauce on bread

All you can eat for a certain price of day. Certain foods are dry and without taste. Not much of conversation from the staff. They are busy but not busy enough to answer a few questions. Oh well. Don't forget to order your drink along with your meals as its not included.

I love this buffet it is nice and clean reasonable prices and a good variety of choices .I love the sushi my only problem is sometimes I see staff or the owners watching you as you serve your food on your plate and standing by the food it makes me a bit uncomfortable . Overall I enjoy eating here

Place is clean, polite, affordable, and has a variety of food. Sushi is way better than "sushi buffets" I've tried. Take out price for seafood is a little higher than their non seafood dishes.

Overpriced, but the food was a bit overcooked on some of the trays. Hardly any contact with any of the staff. I gave it a 1 star on service because they only charge you and tell you to sit wherever. I don't think that's enough for a service review.

I've been here a few times. Dined in once and did take out twice but this will be my last time due to poor customer service! I was waiting to pay for my takeout and an elderly couple was right infront of me, taking longer than usual. That is fine, but the front lady and owner/manager both saw me waiting for a while and ignored me. They helped another person who purposely cut infront of me! That is what i get for being polite and giving space to the couple infront of me! So make sure to push everyone out the way when you're paying since they're incapable of keeping track of a short line! The food is decent with a wide varietyof selections. Some things are overcooked and under stocked. I do like the Mongolian BBQ the most.

For the most part the place is very clean, great food variety, awesome service. The only thing needs a bit more attention is the restrooms.

Great place. We love coming to eat here. They have so much seafood, like seriously so much! They have a sushi bar, a crepe station, a cotton candy station, a chow Mein bar where you can choose everything to your liking. Large space for many people. Great food and decent prices. They also offer to go.

This place is awesome, family oriented, food is bomb ! Normally no wait time and all you can eat ! Can't beat that . And the kids absolutely love it !

Food was good , the only reason am giving 3 stars is because some of the food like pizza, egg rolls and garlic bread got hard really fast I think is been setting there to long

Good food, but quality has come down over time. Some tastes like it's been reheated, other times overcooked. But overall still good. Staff are amazing, no question. Good variety of food options, even kid friendly meals like pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, etc. in case there are picky eaters or dietary restrictions.

I love the variety of foods. Sushi is made fresh there. Large variety of fresh fruit. I like to try a little bit of as much as I can eat. The people working there , they can be taken as unfriendly, but they are just no nonsense -type workers. Just focused on doing their job. They are quick about clearing out used plates. I love this place. You can refill your own drinks, so no waiting for them. I suggest dessert first, so you have room for it. Husband and I are taking our grandson to eat there, today.

So they had crab legs but they were like fried dried up into the shell. Fish taste like rubber the shrimp song whatever they were felt like they were growing in your mouth. It just was not a good experience for me I was not able to understand anything anyone was saying so I was not able to get any assistance with anything. I will never in my life return to this location again if I was starving to death I will take my chances with some grubs

I thought the restaurant would be a little bigger, yet it's like a mini buffet. I love how everything is organized, and the food tastes delicious. It was my first time coming here, and I'm starting to like it here. My favorite of this restaurant is the clams so far😋 I would totally come back again with friends and family!
