A big church which you can see from the giant square in front. Worth seeing if you're around. The funny fact was that there was an culture event inside rather than a mass - which is cool.

This place is seriously huge and stunning... You would love the insides... Photos not allowed inside however visit it and you will be stunned with the paintings and sculpture there... It's in Gent

A beautiful church in need of renovation. The church contains a good number of relics, all exposed for free. The dome has been renovated and is beautiful white , showing what could be the end result if the entire church could get this treatment. There is a treasure room with parts of the roof coming loose, which really needs some work.

Very large and beautiful church with amazing paintings and interior. The entrance is free as it should be.

This is a fantastically beautiful church, which is brightly naturally lit from all sides. The majestic entrance hall makes you quiet, especially because of the roses on the ground.

I share the opinion of other visitors, a visit is worth it...treasury and pictures/stone carvings at their best. Good connection with bus line / small bars / restaurants... We were thrilled. Please note the opening times.

A magnificent monument as beautiful as it is majestic. Steeped in history, this building is for me one of the most beautiful historical monuments in Ghent (or even in Belgium).

Sint Pieter Church has very long history, first church, then became painting gallery, now church. No wonder, this church has so many beautiful painting. No worries this church is open everyday, so you can admire its beauty.

It is a very beautiful and holy place in Gent. I am not religious but I really recommend it. Just come and to be silent.

This is one of the famouse chruches of Ghent next to the Sint Niklaas, Sint Baafs, Sint Jacobs, etc. This church was part of the Saint Peters abbey of Ghent. Insode pf the church is very nice with beautiful catholic art. It is near the Zuid, Overpoort and universities. Visiting is recommended, also each year the city organizes a fair at the coirt of the church. At the back of the church you also have a nice vineyard that is open in the day, very nice place to visit.

Bad information. It says it is open every day but today, Monday, it is not. In the abbey museum next door they report that sometimes it is open and sometimes not, depending on whether there is someone to take care of it. I wish I had better information on the door to know when to visit it.

The stupid bells from the church make noise on Sunday morning. Very annoying. Let people sleep!

I run into this cathedral by chance as it is not located near the main attractions. It is beautiful and full of paintings. If you have time and are not to tired to walk extra, you should visit it
