Magda
is
considered
to
be
the
best
Pilates
instructor
in
Mérida
and
Power
House
Pilates
is
considered
the
most
modern
and
nicest
Pilates
studio
in
the
city.
After
taking
private
and
semi-private
lessons
(three
times
a
week)
with
Magda
for
15
months
now,
I
completely
understand
why
this
is
the
consensus.
I’ve
worked
out
with
private
trainers
for
nearly
20
years
now,
in
5
countries,
and
all
of
those
trainers
combined
were
never
able
to
bring
about
the
amazing
changes
I
have
seen
in
my
body
and
in
such
a
short
time
frame.
You’ll
see
the
difference
in
less
than
a
month
and
while
you
will
wake
up
sore
for
the
first
few
weeks,
trust
me,
it
is
worth
it.
I
didn’t
know
what
“work
your
muscles
until
exhausted”
meant
until
starting
at
Power
House
Pilates.
I
told
her
my
goals:
visible
abs,
tiny
waist,
stronger
back,
and
better
posture;
she
has
delivered
this
and
much,
much
more.
My
knees
(wrecked
due
to
a
high
heel
addiction)
have
never
been
stronger
and
I’ve
also
gained
1.5
inches
in
height.
I’ve
never
looked
or
felt
better
in
my
life.
Magda
has
an
almost
intuitive
assessment
of
what
needs
to
be
done
to
make
you
look
and
feel
strong
but
still
very
feminine.
It’s
rare
that
I
meet
a
person
so
perfectly
fitted
to
their
occupation
and
so
good
at
what
they
do.
She
also
has
advanced
education
regarding
physiology
and
takes
continuing
education
classes.
I
have
never
once
suffered
any
injuries,
and
I
tend
to
be
injury
prone.
This
is
because
Magda
is
extremely
focused
on
your
form
and
technique,
sometimes
frustratingly
so,
but
she
wants
you
to
get
it
perfect.
And
eventually
you
will.
She
doesn’t
shy
away
from
very
complex
and
difficult
moves,
on
the
contrary
I
am
amazed
at
what
she
has
trained
me
to
do.
I’ve
never
considered
myself
to
be
especially
athletic
(until
now
maybe).
But
because
she
is
in
complete
control,
I
do
feel
confident
to
train
on
these
moves.
I’ve
taken
nearly
200
classes
with
her
and
not
one
has
ever
been
the
same
or
even
close.
It
would
be
impossible
to
get
mentally
bored,
which
is
important
to
me.
She
pushes
you
to
do
more
than
you
think
you
can,
I
find
this
aspect
of
class
to
be
highly
meditative.
I
actually
enjoy
working
out
and
look
forward
to
classes.
That’s
never
been
the
case
before.
Do
not
be
at
all
concerned
if
Spanish
is
not
your
native
language.
It
isn’t
mine.
While
classes
are
conducted
in
Spanish,
she
visually
demonstrates
the
moves
to
you.
She
trains
many
foreign
students
and
has
the
patience
of
a
saint
when
it
comes
to
everyone’s
level
of
Spanish.
She
is
Cuban
and
talks
fast,
she
doesn’t
realise
how
much
she
has
helped
me
to
understand
the
language
(side
benefit!).
Magda
also
has
a
great
sense
of
humour;
it
is
inconceivable
not
to
like
her.
She
is
EXTREMELY
body
positive
and
curates
her
students
in
order
to
maintain
a
calm,
non-competitive
atmosphere.
Students
with
an
attitude
are
asked
to
leave.
I’ve
never
worked
out
in
a
gym
where
everyone
is
so
friendly
with
one
another.
If
you
feel
self-conscious
or
that
you
need
improvement,
don’t
be
concerned
that
others
are
judging
you.
She
doesn’t
tolerate
this.
People
from
all
fitness
levels
train
here
and
no
one
is
left
feeling
bad
about
themselves.
The
studio
itself
is
very
modern,
clean
and
light
and
she
is
constantly
updating
the
equipment
and
painting
the
studio.
She
has
all
the
newest
things.
The
air
conditioners
and
fans
are
always
on
too,
greatly
appreciated.
All
in
all,
Power
House
Pilates
is
a
10/10.
I
am
in
disbelief
that
my
figure
could
be
changed
this
much
and
I
have
seen
other
students
with
outstanding
results
too.
If
you
are
willing
to
put
in
the
time
and
work,
Magda
has
the
knowledge
to
make
the
changes
you
want
to
see
happen.
Yet
because
she
makes
classes
so
interesting,
it
doesn’t
really
feel
like
that
much
work.
By
the
way,
there
is
another
trainer
there
named
Luisa
that
I
have
trained
with
a
handful
of
times,
and
she
is
very
good
too.
