👍👍 Wow! What a find! Do you have to have your meat? Don’t skip this place. Our son loves to eat chicken. He was blown away by this place. His plate was the cleanest of all! Many palaces you visit, you expect some disparity between photos and reality. Not this one! That goes for the place and food both.... People often mention vegan, delicious, options, Merida, great, amazing, friendly, good,

Wow! What a find! Do you have to have your meat? Don’t skip this place. Our son loves to eat chicken. He was blown away by this place. His plate was the cleanest of all! Many palaces you visit, you expect some disparity between photos and reality. Not this one! That goes for the place and food both. For starters, you can’t feel the energy through a review. There is something about this place. You walk in and feel the tranquility. Sadly, if this place wasn’t a Vegan place, it would draw a bunch more people. Their locally sourced Kombucha was to die for. Beet and orange juice was the best we have ever had. One refill on juice was a pleasant surprise. Diana, is an amazing server. Reasonably priced, high quality, sumptuous food in a serene place! We chatted with Scott who is one of the owners who shared their experiences traveling the world and how they picked Japanese elements while designing the place. Cleanest restrooms with careful design.

The food was delicious. They have few options but they are all spot on. I had the cochinita tacos which are made with their home made seitan and my fiance had chickpea salad which is like a Spanish "ensaladilla rusa" which is one of their 2 gluten free options. Only thing I didn't like is they didn't sell beer... So the vegan restaurateurs are aware, just because we're vegan doesn't mean we don't enjoy a cold beer with our meal lol Lastly, the guys working here were friendly and came over multiple times to check on us which I appreciate a lot.

Spectacular vegan food. Not just in the sense that it's vegan but the flavors are amazing. Super cool spot. Courtyard was gorgeous, coffee, yoga studio, couches, vegan foods are also available for delivery 🚚. PoW is enroute to being a special spot for Santiago. Diamond in the rough for Merida too. 💎 🌆 🌇 🌿 🍑 🍉

Big thanks to the Plants of Wonder team! I just arrived in Merida last night and ordered from here to make sure I could have a nutritious breakfast and lunch while I worked from home today. I especially enjoyed the tasty Scrambled Tofu & Chorizo Burrito and look forward to coming into the restaurant to experience the atmosphere next time. So glad to have found this place!

Wow. As someone who isn’t vegan, I couldn’t tell the difference from their cochinita and the original meat alternative, if I didn’t know it was plant based I’d have thought it was meat. The chilaquiles were incredible and tacos were amazing. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Amazing vegan brunch on weekends. The space at La68 is so calming and comfortable, and the coffee and vegan breakfast were incredible. Will absolutely be going back!

This place is a great place to come and enjoy great vegan options as a plant based eater. In a world full of meat and cheese dinning, it's good to see others have like minds!

A beautiful vegan restaunt with nice ambiente. Perfect place, where you can escape the heat and noise of the city and enjoy delicious vegan foods. Very friendly staff and quick service as well. They have a clothing Shop and book store as well, which is worth to check out. We really enjoyed the place and the stay there!

So much to say about this wonderful restaurant. The staff are so warm and friendly, the food is delicious (try the barilla tacos, fresh juice and muffins) and the atmosphere is so wonderful to sit and chat with a friend, do some work or read a book. We have spent many afternoons here whilst visiting Merida.

So so good! The best vegan food we've had in Mexico by a long way. Make sure you get Chilaquiles (both the seitan and jackfruit versions are great) and the delicious iced lattes. The people are super friendly (they can speak English, which helped us a lot) and they have a great clothes and book shop in the same location. We're just sad that we can't eat here anymore and I'm praying they publish a recipe book one day!

Some of the best plant based foods we’ve ever had. Everything was creative and flavorful, with extremely high quality ingredients. The owners were very friendly and every item we ate was amazing. This is one of those few places that you can take your non-vegan friends and impress them with how amazing vegan food can be when it’s made with passion and vision. Everything we had was spectacular, but our favorite order was the birria tacos and cochinita chilaquiles (both with house made seitan, and mixed with chickpeas for the birria or jackfruit for the chochinita). Oh and their house made almond cheeses were SO good. Flavors were so on point. We can’t wait to visit again next time we’re passing through Merida!

The place is very nice, clean and the service is good. The food was good, not great though. I had the birrita and it was a bit dry. Very nice people.

The most relaxing and zen vegan weekend spot. I feel like I step onto Bali when I'm here. Such a fashionable and relaxing place with quick and tasty food from local vegan dishes to more healthy fresh options, this is a wonderful place to start or end your weekend.

My friend and I were in Merida for vacation and she found Plants of Wonder while looking for vegan options. We were so delighted to find this location which has a lovely courtyard cafe flanked by an adorable home goods shop and another boutique selling 2nd hand clothing and books. The charming and welcoming owner, Scott, took the time to show us around the location and described all of their hand made food and drink options despite the fact that they were closing soon. He offered us a cold glass of water while we waited which was such a nice touch. There were some locals using the internet while lingering over their meals which added a homey feel to the afternoon. My friend ordered the Birria tacos made of chickpeas and seitan and chickpeas and they were delicious! I am a total Omni so vegan food HAS to be AMAZING for me to rave about it. The texture and flavors were perfect and you would almost never know it was not meat. Words cannot adequately express how lovely and memorable we found Plants of Wonder and I hope others will uncover this gem while in Merida.

The owner is friendly. Not much in way of ambience, few tables. I had chickpea and hummus salad with greens, it was a good size portion but dry and flavorless, boring to eat. Same side of spinach and kale leaves. Really expected sooo much more from string of high reviews...but I honestly did not like it.

Super cute vegan restaurant, also provides gluten free options. We loved the atmosphere and had some delicious food. Try their hibiscus drink as well, yum!

Our favorite vegan restaurant we’ve been to in Mexico so far! I got take out on my first visit and my boyfriend (who isn’t even vegan) demanded we go back again the next day to get more of the chickpea salad. Everything we had was amazing and at a great price. Loved the staff and seating area too. Highly recommend!
