My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Mérida to visit my family. I am vegan and traveling as a vegan can be complicated. Good luck to those who visit Mérida. The city has several vegan restaurants. I love that Viva la Virria sells authentic Mexican food that is also vegan. It feels beautiful to be a part of my culture without sacrificing my food manners. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks: I had two horchatas and he had a horchata and then a hibiscus. He and I ordered combo plates of quesavirria and chips. Everything we ordered cost us 298 pesos which in US dollars is approximately $14.90. From an American perspective, it's not much. From the Mexican perspective, I don't know if 298 pesos is considered a lot. Above all, I hope that this vegan restaurant becomes even more prosperous in the future. Blessings to the team of hardworking women who prepared authentic Mexican food without sacrificing the lives of the animals. I thank you all!

Tasty beyond belief. The quesavirrias are mega delicious. The broth goes without saying. Everything is incredible.

Best vegan quesabirria I've ever had!

Truly heaven on earth for those of us who love tacos. There is no better combination for your combo than ordering your consommé and eating your taquitos. Just don't underestimate the combo because it is quite filling, but to share, ordering by the kilo is definitely best. They also have delicious drink options, always innovating. The atmosphere is calm and Pet Friendly, you are sure to come across some 4-legged diners on your visit. The unmatched service is like arriving at a friend's house, but your heart will be stolen by the virria taquitos. Over time they become addiction ❤️ P.S. They have home delivery, takeaway, and to take in your belly too 🤤

Incredible food. Great flavor and have to say some of the best tacos in Merida. Vegan or not these are hands down some delicious tacos.

We got the quesavirria combo and a torta, everything was absolutely amazing! We can see ourselves becoming regulars here, the server was friendly and helpful as well!

By far the best vegan tacos in the city!
