A fantastic place for breakfast! Homemade cranberry bread and marmalade of papaya, pineapple and orange. Freshly squeezed juices and absolutely delicious breakfasts. The service was quick, helpful and professional. Excellent ambiance with live pianist with wonderful music! Decor very stylish with touches from the past. Delightful!

A great afternoon at 500 Noches. Love the open spaces, natural light, patios, live music, great food, and yummy drinks. Service was fantastic. Be sure to try Xtabentun. It’s a locally produced licor of honey and anise. It’s served with 3 coffee beans for love, health, and wealth. Amy Jones ~ Life in Mérida

My review is based on the seating. The chairs I found incredibly uncomfortable. Unfortunately they only have the wood chairs with a cushion, it is the only option. There is no option for comfortable seating, even though it is quite a large space. I had a cappuccino and it was ok. Not the best but not the worst either. Based on how uncomfortable the seating was, I cannot imagine coming in the evening for the live music. I was very disappointed because the atmosphere is very pleasing otherwise.

Great spot to hear "música trova." I had the ravioli, which was good, not great. Martinis were excellent and reasonably priced. Red wine selection wasn't super extensive and came chilled. I still don't get why most places in Mexico chill their red wine. Anyway, food is maybe a little more than you'd pay elsewhere, but worth it for the live music. Good ambience and good service.

It’s an amazing breakfast/brunch place. It’s worth mentioning that the service is very good. We loved the french toast. There are a lot of tables so i wouldn’t worry about reservations if ur going on a weekday. It’s a really pretty place.

Small but a nice Cafe. The atmosphere was very peaceful and pleasing especially the piano player.

Love the ambiance with live music. Food takes a bit in getting out to the table but the attention makes up for it. Warm welcome by Dana, and a warm handoff to Leonel who was attentive to our requests the entire evening. All that we ate was delicious and well made. I have been here three times with our family and will return in the near future. I left a review with Leonel. Gracias!

All was good, except for the children's play area. Woman in charge was not tactful; my 6 yo was crying unstoppably since she yelled at him without providing adequate guidance in the play area. When I approached them, she was argumentative and no empathetic, showing no courtesy or respect at all. Many patrons on the nearby tables observed the distatesful scenario.I had to bring my 2 children and friend back to our table. It was such an unexpected and unpleasant experience. Management should re-evaluate and place a worker who loves children and has interpersonal skills.

This place has it all, great menu and food, awesome vibes, and very attentive and friendly waiters. Came for breakfast and the live piano was giving super movie set dreamy vibes. I look forward to trying this place in the evenings too!

Lively place to gather with friends for dinner, more on the upscale end of things. Quite romantic if you are looking for that special place to take someone special. Live music is played throughout the evening.

Great staff with limited English, but so what it’s more fun to try to understand each other while sipping a cold one. Food was great, no pressure to leave despite a small line for others to get in. Our group of 10 all had a memorable time. We will return for sure. Enjoy.

The service was terrible. He came to the table and just looked at me waiting for my order, no hello, good morning or nothing. Throughout the meal he never came back to ask if I needed anything. I had to call other waiters to ask them for things that should have came with my meal (honey for the waffles, bread for the table). When my food arrived, it was late and cold. I will not return or recommend. However the ambiance is lovely with a great live band.

One of my favorite places in Merida to have a relaxing coffee or a meal. They have live music almost every night and really good coffee. It’s like a 5 star experience that costs about the same as going to Boston Pizza (aka Boston’s in Merida).

If you want quality wine, food and service, all while having a super relaxing and calm environment - decorated in an artistic and pub-like fashion, this is your place. A bit higher prices than the average other restaurant in Col. Mexico, but definitely a place to check out for multiple times. The sweet potato fries were sensational (they come with the hamburger).

I don't generally leave bad reviews but I had dinner at 500 Noches recently and found it very underwhelming. I'll echo what so many people here have said that the service is not very good. Aside from that, a friend and I were seated on the terrace where we ordered drinks --I had a Stoli martini which tasted nothing like vodka but more like vermouth and water. I sent it back and they returned it back to me table saying couldn't accept it back(?) I told them to take it away and that it was undrinkable but they charged me for it, anyway. My friend ordered a dry white wine which was far too sweet. The food came and it was cold and tasteless. Needless to say, we won't be going back.
