I walk here daily to play Pokemon go. The place is clean and services are around like ice cream, popsicles, hot dogs and burgers. The taco chooses you lol!

You can find a food stall with red a red roof and red tables. It’s the first stall on the corner facing the church. Best street food I’ve ever had in my life. Wonderful people working here and the prices are excellent very affordable for the taste. I ate here about 10 times

Izamal is packed with history. You will find narrow streets and traditional homes and businesses. The town is know as the Yellow City and the picture will demonstrate. Ask questions to the locals and the visitors, you'll be surprised the folks that will provide stories. We stayed at the San Miguel Arcangel. Great traditional hotel with lots of historic value. The ruins (pyramrd) are amazing!

Traditional park, was a bit crowded. We visited at night, and the atmosphere was festive. Many street vendors.

A nice park beside the church with shade and benches to people watch but more importantly the place to go for street food vendors and food stalls in central Merida whether you want a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Our second favorite park in the whole city. Come early in the morning or late afternoon to get those warm colors. Bring walking and water.

We came here each night as it was bustling with excitement and fun. Tones of vendors for food... sweet and treats to tacos and more! We sat down all evening and enjoyed people watching. We got serenade and listened to some local favorites. We watched a concert in the corner. They have lots of porta-potties but bring your own toilet paper... many had none! Lots of people selling clothing and trinkets as well! If you are in the area, take a look at my other listing for places we visited in the area! Enjoy 😉

Ok. What do you want me to say? It's rustic, chipped paint here and there; yes. But I sat on a bench, smell the fresh air, stretched my legs and fed the birds and I wanted to go to sleep, relax, peaceful athmosphere.

Nice place to sit & relax. Walking distance to some nice shops. Easy to get taxi or Uber from there.

Great place to relax and local to meet people waiting for combies to nearby towns. Food stands are OK, but limited food choices. This is the local alternative to the main plaza a few blocks to the north. Tourist are few, mostly walking through to some other place. No problemos aqui.

The Garden has been cleaned and new benches installed, and the church looks good. It is for sure great for locals but not very interesting for tourists... except when you have outdoor concerts.

Iconic Place, now surrounded by food vendors, and also have become a bus stop for some of the routes to travel throughout the city 👍

Beautiful park just be careful with the pickpockets. They’ll work in pairs. One will distract you and ask you questions and the other will pick your pockets.

Really good for Street food, not as crazy as the central market area. It's nice to just sit and listen to the birds.
