Value for money, great location, good food. A good alternative if you want to save on eating out or just taste great local mexican food. Paseo Montejo is just around the corner.

Expo de Oaxaca at the Santa Ana park. This park has great street food if you are looking for traditional eats you won’t be disappointed there is plenty to choose from. This location also hosts expos from time to time and this Oaxaca expo had so many wonderful things ranging from clothing, jewelry, toys, home decor and great eats. We found some delicious breads and the famous huge tortilla called tlayuda I’m not sure if that’s how it’s spelled but they sure were delicious. Oh lets not forget the stand with the grasshoppers I could not believe how busy this stand was. They had samples so we mustered up some courage and took a taste. I do have to admit they had no flavor with the exception of the spices added to them, the crunch is a tad yucky thinking of what you’re actually chewing on lol.

Mérida has many small square plazas like this where people gather at the end of the day to just sit down and enjoy family time. The place is safe even when it gets dark .

The church is nice, but other than that there's many food stalls and they're pretty good, the stalls could be a bit agreesive while trying to pick theirs and not the others but all of them seem to be pretty good, if you don't find parking space just drive around the block

It seems from Thursday to Sunday nights, they do something on one of the parks. Last night it was at Santa Maria Park, they blocked off the streets, the restaurants took out their chairs & tables, locals took out their stands to sell their products, live music, etc. Lights everywhere 🥰 It was just beautiful!!

A little market on the square was cute. The Santa Ana barrio is nice, this park is perhaps one of the central nodes of the barrio.

The park was very nice, just your normal, small yet very well maintained little area to hang out. What I do not recommend is eating at the tianguis that is next to it. The food was way overpriced and tasted awful.

Amazing street food, it's a bit funny how everyone is trying to win you over, when in reality they all offer the same things.

I went on Friday, and there were a ton of food vendors, mostly traditional food from Yucatan, and a few vendors selling jewelry and other items.

Beautiful, lively. The entire area is nice to walk around in the evening. The street food vendors will try to lure you into their stall. Lots of bars with live music etc

I loved all of the beautiful parks in Merida Centro. Most have free Wi-Fi. I took my colouring book on my trip. It definitely came in handy in the parks!

Cool little park with lots of things happening at night and just a very chill place to sit back, and people watch. Great architecture to surround you too.

The park is fun because the food vendors are all trying to lure you into their stalls. It's also a nice place to sit and just pass time.

We arrived very late one night, hungry and tired with little time to look for a meal. Here there are many choices from several vendors. Just sit and order, our meals were tasty, fresh and enjoyable. This is not a cotton tablecloth type place but full of friendly people, good food in an open atmosphere. We revisited a few days later for wonderful pineapple smoothies to stave off the heat. Enjoy.

Good food stalls well above average. Decent free wifi...lots of cops patrolling, makes it safe, but not too cool to drink a cold beer. Church is beautiful.

Food is very cheap. You can buy 3 panuchos (or salbutes / empanadas) for 65 MXN. Milkshakes are delicious, you can make it by any fruit you want.

Taqueria La Socorrito is a hidden gem! The ponochos and tostadas we ordered were delicious. It did take more than usual to get the food after we ordered but it was worth the wait. I also recommend the Cancun mixed juice from the juice shop next door it was tasty and refreshing.

It's a small place, but it's nice; the market is closed to the park, there're a few cafe shops near.

The park is cute with some great food nearby. I've been at this park at least 20 times and I've never had a bad experience. It's also really close to a lot of points of interest in the center of Merida.

I've been here probably 10 times, and the food and juices are excellent, but quite overpriced for what is essentially street food. I also sometimes consider not going back, just because the vendors are unbelievably overbearing about getting you to eat at their stand, and about where you're allowed or not allowed to sit. Super annoying.

A cleaner place for a relaxing afternoon and a great taste of the regional food and crafts, also love to witness the waiters battle for customers (I was there).

I love the business of the square, the locals will remember visitors and if they see you again, will treat you like an old friend.

Good area with lots of restaurants and cafes. Nice place to sit and relax, eat, etc... Cafe del Sol for breakfast, The Mercado for lunch and dinner. Close to Paseo de Montego, Santa Lucia. Good park

Wonderful place to sit and people watch. A food court is at one end with fruit juices, tacos, and other small plate yummies!
