Fabian was a fantastic diving instructor. We did two dives together and I felt super safe at all times. For me it was my first time in a cenote and it was simply breathtaking. If you want to dive here I can absolutely recommend this diving centre! Thank you Fabian!

Fabian was our guide and I’ve dove all over the world and he was the best guide. Fernando the owner is super communicative and awesome as well. He got us in for two dives last minute and had everything set up and easy. Highly recommend if you’re in the area to book dives with Explorer Divers Merida.

Was my 2nd time diving in cenotes after Tulum (2 ojos). Went with Our dive master Fabian and one other diver. Had a good time, and we made a lot of interesting topics talk on the road. We went to the most popular two and still had the diving to ourselves! (First was completely empty when we got there, and second just had some swimmers.) It’s definitely still quite off tourist radar (for now) and worth the trip to check out, praying you get lucky for some sun rays into the cenotes. They charge very fairly for the price and includes delicious muffin & sweet grapefruits / pineapple for us. The extra hand Carlos was a real G and handled all of the heavy lifting (poor him, I tried to help and did carry my own tank up on the 2nd one lol.) Anyways, it’s a very much “yes” vote from me if you’re looking to dive at some eerie but cool and calm sites around. 👍

Our trip was just amazing. We were a little nervous since it was our first time diving. Fabian picked us up at our house (which was lovely). He gave us clear instructions during the dive and he calmed us down when necessary. We were offered fruit and a local meal (which was delicious). We couldn’t have had a better experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend!! Thanks Fabian and Carlos for making our first diving experience into a succes!

Highly recommended! Fernando is a great guy who goes out of his way to make your day with him amazing and memorable! The tour included two different cenotes and a fantastic lunch. His diving gear is brand new and the price for a day of diving is more than fair. He even brought a camera on my request. In summary, by far my best diving experience in Yucatan.

I dived today with the divemaster Fabian. It was absolutly amazing. We went to 2 cenotes. Fabian took care that i feel safe the whole time. The cenotes are such a great divingexperience. I cant wait to do it again. The Price is also absolutely fair. For snacks and drinks they also took care. In my 50 dives i took so far these 2 dives are one of the best ones and also Fabian is one of the best Divemasters i went diving so far. It was better then expected. Im still very hyped from this day. Thank you and i hope i will be back soon to take Another dive

Dived with a few companies in the area and this one is definitely the best. Extremely knowledgeable guide Fabián made everyone feel safe and comfortable. Hotel pick up is highly convenient. I even forgot my mask and they brought it back to me! Cannot recommend enough

Had two great dives with Fernando. He is very knowledgeable and professional with a love of the cenotes and diving. He picks you up from your hotel and provides all gear and fresh fruit and drinks. Even hires locals from villages near the cenotes to help haul and setup gear. Where you dive will be decided on your skill and comfort level. The diving near Merida is incredible with crystal clear water and interesting artifacts and caverns. Highly Recommended

We had an absolutely fantastic experience diving in Nah Yah en Noh-Mozon with Fabian. With almost 2000 cave-/cenote dives you can rest assured that you are in professional and capable hands. We also had lovely chats with him on the bus ride to and from the cenotes. What a great guy! Carlos helped out with all the heavy lifting; shout out to him!!! Excellent panuchos (some of the best we've had in Mexico) to end the day. Highly recommended to experience the cenotes to the fullest!!!

We had a realy great experience with diving with Fernando for two days. Starting from clear communication in advance, great and timely organization to really super fine planning of the dives itself. Fernando was super friendly and listened to our preferences and planned the dives accordingly. An awesome added value were the the local lunches, which were quite the best local food we had around as well as the sharing the nice diving videos Fernando made with us. Fernando and his team were absolutely phenomenal! I had an amazing first time cave diving and will absolutely go again with Explorer Divers in Merida when I come back. They had the best deal I could find for cave diving in Merida and even provided hotel pick-up & drop-off, water/beverages, and fruit all included in the price of $1950 pesos!

The dives were amazing, the crew was really friendly and the food was delicious. Cenote diving is a must and Fernando is the guy to go to.

This scuba team is phenomenal. Clear communication from Fernando and lovely diving instruction and company with Fabian. The dives get catered to my skills and interests. Lunch was delicious and always nice to have fresh fruit in between. They’re small but for that you get a great price to go cenote diving! Definitely recommend while in Merida!

Fernando was amazing, friendly and arranged for lunch with a local Mayan family after our dive. We did two cenotes that were beautiful. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time and I have a fear of deep water. So that is all to Fernando's credit. I would absolutely dive with him again.

Fernando runs a fantastic cave diving operation. He picked us up each day and took us to 4 amazing cenotes that were more incredible than the ones we had seen in playa del Carmen. He was very friendly and spoke fluent English, Spanish, and some French. If you have a chance to dive in Merida, don’t book with anyone else - reach out to Fernando!

My girlfriend and I went cenote diving with Fernando and it was amazing. We are still beginners with around 14 dives and our open water but this was a completely new experience to the ocean. I highly recommend Fernando, from start to finish he provided everything we needed for 2 great dives. He is a great guy and is passionate about what he does. His English is very good and when we return, I hope he will have a good grasp of French.

Highlight of our trip! Fernando has been to a massive amount of cenotes and is passionate about showing people some that are off the beaten trail. The two cenotes we visited were incredible and made for our most unique diving experience to date. Each had their own unique natural beauty, option caverns, and other incredible surprises (that I won’t divulge here). Fernando is an absolute legend with perfect English and heaps of cenote knowledge and stories to share.

One of the best diving experiences of my life. I’m a Divemaster, have dove all over the world. Such a positive and beautiful experience diving with Explorer divers. Fernando made it so easy to set everything up literally the night before. We had a tight schedule and he was so cool fitting us in the night before. Fabian was probably the best guides I’ve ever had. Really good at making sure we were comfortable, complimenting our dove techniques. They set us up with dive gear. The food and snacks were amazing. The cenotes were BEAUTIFUL. Just an absolutely incredible experience. I recommend going to Merida just to experience a dive with Explorer Dives.

Just spent my second day with Fernando. Both times he took me on an adventure that was breathtaking. I’m retired law enforcement and an Army Veteran. Fernando is a true professional who showed me things that I never imagined. The caves are a wonder of the world and I am grateful for the experience. I’m new to diving( about 20 dives) but he made me feel safe and secure in underwater caves that are both beautiful and awe striking. I plan on many more trips to Merida and each time I will do another day with Fernando. Highly Recommended.

We had 2 awesome dives with Fabian! Fabian is a great and skilled guide, he is very relaxed but pays a lot of attention to your safety and well-being. We had fun conversations about diving but also on the history of Mexico. We arranged the dives last minute on the evening before, but the communication was fast and smooth. We would definitely recommend this dive operator!
