The hostel is beautiful, with a lot of details, space, a nice terrace surrounded by plants and super clean. As the owner told us, it was a normal house before it was renovated to become a hostel/airbnb and it was the most authentic hostel we have been to on our vacation! We felt like beeing part of Yucatan. The owner is also super welcoming and helpful and told us a lot about the life in Mexico. The hostal has a big kitchen and well equipped kitchen too.

Stayed at this hostel for a few days while travelling through Merida. It's actually a nice and comfortable place, but there were literally no staff the whole time we were there, just one girl who was staying there long term but was not an employee. I even had to go and dig around in the hostel cupboards to find myself a towel since there was never anyone on the desk. The location was also a bit odd, fairly desolate.

The hotel is very cute and the price more than reasonable, there were 6 of us, a couple and 4 friends and we booked the private double room and the dormitory, and we were not disappointed. Had the most incredible stay at Hostal Rosa. The place is a beautiful authentic place with lots of character. All the amenities are fantastic- comfy beds, great kitchen, great areas to relax.
