    This center is just like the VA. They don't care about paitents, long wait times, staff who lie and doctors who cannot diagnose a simple ear infection.     If it were possible to give a zero rating I would unfortunately the site doesn’t allow it. I called three times and was hung up on just trying to schedule an appointment for my son who suffers from migraines. This community health center is a threat to the community. And they really need to revamp the whole community center there are some good doctors there I’ve been taking my children there since they were small however some of the staff .reception and their phone system is the issue. they make enough money to be able to revamp the system and deliver better quality service to the actual community who they are here to help or supposed to be at least. This is Disgusting for a healthcare office!

    I went originally a few months ago and really liked my doctor, so a few weeks ago I made an appt to follow up with her and had a completely different experience. Waited over an hour only for her to come into the room. When she finally appeared, she acted completely annoyed at me when she was an hour late.... and then tried to rush the appointment and get me out. Who comes to an appointment an hour late and gets annoyed that the patient was, well, patient? So disappointing. My original primary doctor's location shut down and he is gone, I am now looking for a new primary. I'm thinking whoever it is, it will not be someone there!

    It's clean, staff is nice but it takes forever for them to take you in the office and a long time for doctor to come in,even with a sceduled appointment.

    It seems everytime my sons medicine needs a new authorization they get it incorrect. Now I've been all week trying to solve the issue of an increased dosage and still can't seem to get in contact with a damn Dr. Or nurse and the pharmacy can't order medication over the weekend. I've waited hours to be seen and it just isn't a place that prioritizes value of their patients.

    The worst clinic I have ever dealt with. They told me that I would get a call back after trying numerous times to get a hold of my doctor and I never get one from the doctor or her nurse. After my first visit (which had me waiting in my room for over an hour) I was told to give the pharmacy an hour for my prescription to be sent over and when I arrived, there was nothing even on file TWICE - then it gets sent to the WRONG pharmacy after I called to clear the issue up for the third time. They seem unorganized, and by the lack of communication, they're unprofessional and give the impression that they do not take the care of their patients seriously. Don't even waste your time here. I'm so disappointed and now have to look elsewhere for a health care provider because I am really not happy with this one.

    ***NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS IN MERIDEN!! *** Total time to be told -25 MINUTES. Can only imagine what disregard they hold an actual patient's time! So a blessing in disguise, in the end. - 5 minutes of phone tree navigation, 10 minutes of hold time, two transfers and 5 minutes of talk time. **Curious why you waited to hear insurance info to relay this info.

    These people are the sub standard in health care. The have miss handled my wifes case from the word Go. She has had seven surgeries and in chronic pain. They treat everyone as they are med seekers and are not importanr. Andrew Yim prescibed my wife clonadine( med to lower blood pressure) when her bp is 60 over 90 to start. Combined with the Aprn dogooder Mcnamara( who can't make a decision without asking someone else. They have been slow with refferals terrible bedside manner and in my humble opinion quacks. Forget the mental healthside ladies if you have had any trauma in your life The Psychiatrist will ask you humiliating question in order to diagnose in first 2 mins. Stay far away from this place as possible if you need help. I have had better service at used car dealerships. These people disgust me and have hurt my wife in more ways than i can count. Go anywhere but here

    Horrible place most the ladiea there are very rude. Ive been seeing Dr Patel for awhile and not once has he ever helped me. Had a broken bone for 7 years he tells me its not that bad. Ended up seeing a specialist and he could not even understand why he would never send me to see some one after the multiple xrays i had done. Dont bother with this place they will let u die before you get real help.

    Constantly losing my sons records, all the girls in the front have attitudes and act like they hate their job. Never knew what immunizations my son needed next. Very poorly run and disorganized. Gave me such a hard time when I wanted my sons records to transfer drs. Never will I bring my child here again!!!

    Every prenatal appointment i have takes 2 hours when it should only take 30 minutes at most. Most of my time is spent sitting around waiting for my name to be called. Not to mention the nurses are rude when i ask what is taking so long. Never going here again for prenatal.

    i have never experienced such a unprofessional place for children its not so bad as for adults need to find another clinic these are the most ugliest staff i do not understand why or how this place can be so bad just saying .

    I've seen some bad reviews here but it's not all bad. Dr. Patel is as knowledgeable as anyone I've seen and has never not been able to answer a question. In the last 2 years, the wait times have gotten better and I don't think wait times are great anywhere. I've only had a few complaints but they were a long time ago.

    The felt like the dr was ordered from wish she laughed at me when I said I was trying to quit smoking , she said I was border line hyper tension .(slightly raised due to pain I’m sure😩 ) Went for stomach problems she solved Nothing I will never return .

    Your provider's assistant calls you 5 minutes before your appointment to tell you it is now cancelled and would like you to wait an additional 30 days on top of the 30 days you already waited for this person to help you. Which is the same story I had before in this particular department. I also have been dealing with the same infection for 8 years. They don't know what to do for it. I have 78 percent lung function and asthma. The provider told me it's for my benefit to wear a mask for covid after testing my oxygen for 30 seconds when it takes a duration of time to see my o2 go down.

    Trying to get through is almost impossible. If you do get to speak to a staff member they are incredibly rude.I mean INCREDIBLY RUDE. Not recommended. Very poor uneducated treatment. Iv been misdiagnosed twice in a year. Only gave them a second chance due to no openings anywhere.

    Not that bad of a place other then when they change your PCP ( btw ALL the time this has happened to me) has lab on site, Walgreens downstairs,mental health services and I think dental at other CHC

    I’ve been coming to CHC for almost 2 years for my primary care because they have everything centrally located in one building. I used to see a different primary here but recently changed and everything has been perfect since I changed. She always gets back to me right away, she listens to my concerns, and works with me to make sure that I’m happy and understand every step of my care instead of leaving me to figure it out on my own. The only downside is that LITERALLY every single time I’m there, there are people in the waiting room listening to music/videos on their phone at full volume. The staff are always kind but I really wish they would do something about this. I know im not the only person who is bothered by it.

    Clean professional medical teams with quick or appointment based experiences for personal appointments or private consultations perfect for health decisions and personal care long term. Also great psychology or psychiatric care on site. Appointment based for short or long term. Give them a call and pick up medicine on site next door. Good luck and to your health.

    I’ve been a patient of Meriden community health care for around 7 years. And I have never been treated the way I ve been treated since last week. Monica Massabni Who is my new provider has refused to fill a non opioid drug to help with nerve damage due to a spinal disease. This provider lied more than 3 times as a reason not to fill my prescription. Not only did she lie, she had the backing of the medical director Dr Patel. So as a patient we can’t afford the right to basic care. Nor do we afford for those parties involved to do their due diligence and look into the situation even further. I suggest that no self respecting person allow these liars to get away with treating people like there words matter. Then on top not provide them their medication that they’ve been given for SEVEN YEARS and all for a lie! If I could give them a half of a star I would! Poor care!

    Ive only done telehealth visits so far but I've had a very pleasant experience despite all the bad reviews. Dr. Marlisha Smith is super kind and every other staff member I've spoken to on the phone has been pleasant to speak with. I initially was calling to just become a patient for mental health services but I had to have a visit with a doctor first to establish being a patient. I ended up just choosing to make them my primary care doctor's office because my previous one was far. Dr. Smith was great and immediately offered to call in any prescriptions I was going to be low on. I'm happy with my choice!

    was told I was able to call 24/7 to talk to the nurses if I had any questions or concerns regarding my newborn. Since I’m a new mother some things made me anxious so I tried calling and wasn’t allowed to speak to anyone because the nurse or doctor that had taken care of me didn’t put any of my information in the system. This happened 3 TIMES after expressing this to them and nothing ever got done about it. I rushed and scrambled today to get my baby and myself ready to leave for an appointment that I thought we had because I had gotten a text asking to confirm the appointment for today. I called CHC to let them know I was going to be late and they said I didn’t even have an appointment today and that it’s for next week? Even though I had gotten a text to confirm my appointment for today? Filed a release of information for them to fax paperwork over to WIC a week ago, and they filed it to the wrong office despite having all the information they needed. Most unprofessional place I’ve ever had to deal with and I will be switching offices immediately

    They are irresponsible. My doctor is A. Edmonson. They are so irresponsible that I have a video appointment today and I had been waiting on Zoom for 15 minutes and when they call me from the office, they ask me for my date of birth, I tell them and they tell me you have an appointment today with Dr. Edmonson The zoom application will answer you if I have been waiting for 15 minutes.
