    I have been going to Kay Jewelers for a couple of decades now and Kathy has always taken care of me from start to finish. I went to another store once and realized that I wasn't getting the same service as I did with Kathy. I won't make that mistake again. Kathy is helpful, very communicative, professional and very sweet. She actually listens to you and helps you find exactly what you're looking for. She is the definition of "above and beyond" when you work with her. I won't go anywhere else. I highly recommend using Kay Jewelers for your jewelry needs.

    Kathy, Jeff, and Regis are absolutely wonderful to work with. This is the only store I will deal with. Even if I order online they work so well with me. I have made several purchases from them from getting engaged to buying a band and an anniversary band. Plus they are taking care of some old purchases for my wife. Always friendly and welcoming. Glad they have been such a big part of helping me with the big parts of my life!

    18 years ago my husband purchased my wedding set from JB Robinson (now owned by Kay). We were married 2 years later and after 16 years of wearing my wedding band almost constantly, the lip holding the diamonds broke. I took the ring to the Okemos Kay Jewelers and the salesman (a former JBR employee) was easily able to pull up the original purchase information (18 year old information from a company that doesn't exist anymore?!?!). He took pictures and packaged my ring and sent it out for repair free of charge. I was so impressed with the ease of this transaction, and the fact that he was willing and able to do the repair at no cost was completely beyond my expectation. Additionally, Kay sends me emailed updates on the progress of my ring and the repair itself should only take a few short weeks to complete. I was devastated when my ring broke and I feel naked without it but I am thankful that my husband purchased from a company that cares for it's customers and keeps their employees happy. I don't wear much jewelry but every purchase I make will be from this company if this is how they conduct business.

    Tried to get a watch battery replaced, guy took my watch to the side to try to open it. Couldn't get it open, told me to go to another jeweler next door. Get it to the other jeweler, and he notices a huge scratch on the back from Kay trying to open it. Not an insanely nice watch, but a damaged watch now nonetheless. Be wary of taking nicer difficult-to-open watches here.

    The woman who helped us did an amazing job in helping us find an upgrade for my bridal ring! She gave lots of suggestions and showed us the great deals and spoke of the coupons that were available. She was very patient with me when going back and forth deciding what I was going to do.

    Kathy & Chelsea were so helpful with my ring inspection and cleaning and even helped repair a bracelet clasp in store. Super helpful and kind and went out of their way to explain things to us and fix mistakes other stores had made. Highly recommend this location over some of the other ones nearby, the quality and care they put in is superior.

    6 years ago I walked into this store and asked the person how much it would cost to resize my bracelet. The guy was SO rude. He kept refusing to give me a price tag unless I did a laundry list of tasks for him. It was so surreal. I was half convinced that I was secretly being filmed for a prank YouTube video or summat. At the end, the guy told me it cost $20 to resize my bracelet. Which is just adding insult to injury because you're gonna charge me a whole Andrew Jackson to remove a couple of links after you made my hop between my feet while singing the alphabet backwards and touching my nose with alternating hands??? Bro what.... And now 6 years later I'm finally leaving my review for this place. 0/10. Big time wasters.

    Jeff Struble is great to work with. He is definitely not a pushy salesman, instead he always listens to what we are looking for and helps to find just the right thing. His great customer service brings us back every time.

    Took my wedding set in for inspection and all he did was put in solution and get his computer took my name and sent email saying I was there for inspection took out of water and gave it to me.

    I would never shop anywhere else for jewelry. The staff is very friendly, funny, and helpful. I have bought my men's Leo Diamond Ring, Movado watch, and a silver chain here. They have always found me good deals, and have great sales. They do not make you feel pressured to purchase anything and I have always felt comfortable with them. Two thumbs up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a ring, watch or any other jewelry. After reading the other reviews, I don't believe that you understood the policy. I have personally done the "double trade-in" program and they do give you full value for your KAY ring. As for the scratches on your ring... If you have an ESP, then it has a guarantee. (Also, I believe if it's a yellow gold, and not a white gold... it can be buffed right in the store. White gold cannot because of the Rhodium on the ring).

    The Merridian Mall Kay Jewerlers are some really beautiful people. I actually have had the distinct pleasure of having three of the sales associates assist me.     The Okemos, MI location is fabulous! I had the pleasure of working with Regis, Kathy and Jeff. They were so wonderful with my fiancé, young child and I. All three of them were so patient as I was upgrading my ring and had an envision that I quickly learned I didn’t like. They gave me several ideas and eventually I found my ring! 💓 They were all extremely knowledgeable. Thank you! ☺️

    Took my wedding ring to the 6 month inspection just like I do every 6 months and found out it had a loose stone. They sent it in to the repair shop, when I picked it up the stone was loose in the bag so they had to send it back again. The second time I went to pick it up the head of the ring was bent at a drastic angle. They sent it back. At this point I called Corporate and my representative called me back a day later to say that the repair shop maintains that the ring has always been bent like that, it was a "design flaw". Basically calling me a liar after they broke my wedding rings. She then informed me that it was in such disrepair now that it could not be fixed, so I could keep my old one or they could replace it. They do not care about your memories. I will never see my wedding ring again because of their repair shop. I am heartbroken. Do not let this happen to you.

    Pretty disappointed right now, not as much with the staff in the Okemos store but more so with the service and repair center. My husband and I decided it was time to update my wedding set. I found something and fell in love with it, but it needed to be sized and soldered. Purchased 11/5, promise date 11/21...yeah it's not done, supposed to be finishing today and shipping so it should reach the store 11/22 or 11/23. I find it so ridiculous that it takes a better part of three weeks for something that can be done in a matter of a few hours. I don't think I will be returning...

    Bought 2 wedding rings, one for myself and one for my husband. My husband's band has literally fallen apart twice in two years, no fault of our own. It took them two weeks the first time and now over one month (we still don't have it) to replace the second time. They told us we couldn't choose another ring to replace it with until it happens a third time. We bought the lifetime warranty on my ring and have had 3 diamonds fall out in two years. They kept the ring 6 months while doing one of the replacements, telling me they have to send it to China to get it fixed. I asked if I could just give them back the ring with diamonds and trade for a plain old band, so I don't have to waste anymore of my life dealing with Kay Jewelers and they told me no. Even though they could sell the ring with diamonds for 5-7 times what a plain band costs. This place makes poor jewelry and has even poorer customer service policies. Will never, shop at Kay Jewelers or their affiliates again. Keep in mind, I have a diamond ring that belonged to my Great Grandmother, and so has been worn for over 40 years, no stone has ever fallen out of it.

    I went 5 years without wearing my wedding band because it shrunk. Took it into the store where they were able to stretch it to fit in less than 10 minutes. Free of charge. Also took my wifes wedding ring in to be re-fitted, replace a lost diamond, and have some other repairs done. I purchased that ring 21 years ago, and they honored the warranty no questions asked. Top notch customer service!

    I went to Kay Jeweler's to find an inexpensive wedding band for my fiancee. We did not want anything flashy or ornate, but the associate there, Seth, convinced us otherwise. He had a beautiful band that complemented her ring perfectly. He was well informed about the products and he spent a lot of time with us even though we were looking for something on the inexpensive side. He also gave me several non-jewelry recommendations like, where to find an inexpensive suit. I typically avoid large chain stores for jewelry, but this experience was refreshing.     My fiance and I went in recently to purchase engagement rings. We couldn't afford anything really fancy and were on a strict budget. A very nice saleswoman understood our situation and helped us find two rings that were perfect and within our range. I asked for a ring re-sizer because my ring was too big. She said that Kay's carried a cheap alternative to sending the ring in for a week to be re-sized. Her boss went in the back and within minutes, produced a ring that fit my fingers better. I was too excited to really examine the ring. Once I got back to my house, I took my ring off and looked at it to find deep gouges in it. They had tightened the metal bracket used for re-sizing, too tightly. Now there are four indentations in my brand new ring. It was the only ring my fiance could afford and they damaged it before I could wear it.. I almost cried when I seen it.
