Loved the food. Prices aren't bad. Great service. Bloody Mary's are sure something to look at! A meal all by itself! Not the best tasting but definitely unique

REALLY disappointed with this place, found it on Instagram and wanted to try the Mega Mary. Which is cool, BUT they left off the cheese, beer was warm, and the pretzel was so hard it felt "over deep fried". The food once we got it was good. But the service was not. My husband who usually drinks 3 or 4 cups went the entire meal sitting on empty drinking my water. At one point when I looked for our waitress they all were standing by the expo/bar area. Not 1 server was on the floor serving quests just waiting on something talking to each other. I want to loose this place but management need to either retrain the staff or hire new ones.

This is the second time we have been there in the past 2 weeks and I’m extremely impressed with the quality of food and what the new owners have done to the restaurant. The new owners care about great food and customer service. They have also made the atmosphere enjoyable and family oriented. The new menu they released this past week is filled with a variety of choices and is fantastic. The grilled artichokes and pastrami burger are the best I’ve ever had. The pastrami was lean and cooked to perfection over a juicy burger. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing and very tasty. The artichokes with the lemon aioli were unbelievable and won’t leave you disappointed. They also have a great beer selection, mixed drinks, and margarita flight.

Wanted to try the Homestead as I had seen they had been under new ownership. I tried a long time ago and wanted to give it another shot. Drinks were dangerous good, and the food was great. The only downside was the service. It was just getting busy when we arrived and it seemed that everyone was running around stressed out which led to slow service. Still would recommend if in the area.

We were super excited to try Homestead. When we entered, the musician was super loud and not very good. Then, we got our poutine starter. There were hardly any fries. The poutine had a ton of gravy and the flavor was great. But, when it's on top of a handful of fries and costs $13, it's super disappointing. When we told the waitress, she just said she would tell the manager and then we heard nothing after that. After that disapointment, I got my Nashville hot chicken sandwhich. First, there was zero hot chicken flavor. Second, it was the size of a chicken tender. Very disappointing to only get bites of chicken in half of the sandwich. Definitely won't be going back there again.

I have been searching all over the treasure valley for any restaraunt serving the "Kentucky Hot Brown" as it was an East Coast favorite. I was absolutely shocked to stumble across this on Homesteads menu but most importantly, it did not disappoint! Way to deliver West Coast (Homestead)! If you have not experienced this sandwich, its an absolute must! Bite after bite of refined melt in your mouth flavor🔥

We tried the new Homestead today and overall, it is a Huge improvement. The atmosphere is much better, the service was great, it feels bigger due to the much better layout and tables, and the tables were actually clean. The menu seems smaller but has good options. We had the mozzarella chips, huckleberry barbecue burger, and the gyro with truffle fries. All the food was Much better than we had in our previous visits. The only Con was that the price was a bit high for the servings. 2 suggestions: the mozzarella chips should come with 6 pieces instead of 4 for the cost, and the burger should have 3 onion rings, the 2 did not cover the burger so only 2/3s of the burger had the full flavor. 8/10, we will be back 🙂

We tried the new Homestead (with new owners) and what a MASSIVE improvement!! The entire remodel looks fantastic. They separated off the bar and definitely lowered the volume of the music. The menu selections were great and the food tasted amazing. The outdoor patio looks so good and it was very comfortable to sit outside with the ceiling fans. Overall, I can't emphasize enough how much of a massive improvement the new owners have made. The restaurant is now family friendly, whereas before it definitely was like taking your kids to a bar. I highly recommend everyone trying it out again!

Returned here after being an avid fan of Homestead for years under previous ownership. Was surprised to see the menu completely changed and the atmosphere is very different. Not bad, but different- it is much more “upscale” and formal looking and not like a bar/kickback place. We came to get wings that we’ve loved for so long, there was only one option, $15 for wings with practically no meat on the bone whatsoever. Food was okay, nothing special, and small servings. Can think of several places I would rather go with better quality food and a better atmosphere for less. You can tell there are many aspects of this place where corners are cut to make an extra dollar- poor quality of wings, single ply toilet paper in the bathrooms and no paper towels. We did not have a bad meal or service, however, this is way more than a rebranding. It’s a completely new restaurant that serves a completely different kind of customer- the name “Homestead” is misleading to anybody hoping to return to a completely changed restaurant.

Awesome food and drinks! My only complaint is it is always so busy and seating can get hard, but just shows how great they are

I thought this was a taproom, however bar and great food! Won't be disappointed. They are the home of the Mega bloody Marys and Mimosas. The bloody Marys were seasoned well. My Son had the PB&J burger, I had pastrami. Wow both meals were like heaven. This is now a fav of ours.

It was super busy and the service was still prompt. Drinks were good. The assortment of drinks is top notch. The food forget about it. For being bar food we ate every bit of it. We had the wings, nachos, and Brussel sprouts. Moscow Mule and Bloody Mary. Amazing. Worth the drive

We came to Homestead with some family and friends for dinner. We had a great experience our waitress was great. The food was amazing. It came out fast and was delicious. We also had a chance to meet the new owner Nick. He was appreciative of us coming by and told us about some of the new and exciting upgrades that are in the works in the near future. I will be coming back here again soon and would recommend everyone to come check them out.

Used to be on my favorites list for sports bars in the area. Recently, that place has SERIOUSLY changed. Used to be able to bring pups to their enclosed patio... not anymore! (A huge reason why I travel 25 minutes out of my way to come here) They recently updated their menu... and they didn't just up their prices... they shot up their prices. So much so, they lost a regular. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious, and the drinks are great. But I'm not paying $20 for a french dip at a sports bar. I'll stick to Rudy's, The Curb and Hideaway for now. Very similar food for a substantially smaller price tag.

We had an amazing experience yesterday trying lots of their menu items! The service was top-notch (thank you Ashlyn!) and the newly remodeled interior is absolutely stunning- it's super modern and sleek. 🤩 But most importantly, the food was incredible! - The margarita flight, was *chefs kiss* amazing and the presentation was so cute- my favorite was the Jalapeño Watermelon. - The Grilled Artichoke (which I was super stoked about) was seriously delicious- it was all the best parts paired with a yummy lemon aioli. - The Kimchi Brussels were also a hit- the kimchi sauce added a nice kick and as someone who LOVES their Brussel sprouts, I was impressed. - The Avocado Hummus was a great starter too- the naan chip paired really well with the creamy hummus. (It's really unique too!) - I also really enjoyed the Chicken Chimichurri Tacos- the slaw and chipotle ranch made for a perfect combination of flavors. (I seriously can't wait to come back for these!) - And for a unique twist on a classic, try the PB&H Sliders- a beef patty, peanut butter, and huckleberry jam might sound weird, but they are so worth it. - And finally, the Idaho Mac & Cheese was an absolute winner- the potatoes and three cheese sauce, combined with bacon, and sour cream, was the ultimate comfort food. 🤤 Even after I was full I couldn't stop eating it! I highly recommend Homestead Bar & Grill and can't wait to go back for their brunch!

Great service, good food. The place was clean and tidy, the atmosphere was friendly and easy going. My husband got the Idaho Mac and a burger and I got their salmon, all were good. And we got the s'mores board for dessert and that was a lot of fun.

Definitely worth checking out! The Homestead Bar & Grill is under new ownership. It was my first time to this restaurant and it has a fresh contemporary vibe! I visited around 2 pm and the bar was pretty busy. I sat in the restaurant portion and my server was super friendly. She was great at answering my questions and making recommendations. I opted for the Pineapple Crush cocktail which was described as a Pina Colada but better. My drink was exactly as described and it was delicious and refreshing! I got a little adventurous and tried the PB&J Sliders. The huckleberry jam, peanut butter and bacon on the burger provide a satisfying salty-sweet combination. The sliders were surprisingly a little larger than what I'm used to so I even ended up taking one home. I'm looking forward to my next visit to The Homestead. They currently offer a brunch on the weekends and happy hour M-F 2-5.

The chicken strips were amazingly tender and delicious. The wings were OK. The idaho Mac and cheese very yum (and unhealthy lol).

I don’t understand the bad reviews. The food was amazing! I had the fried chicken sandwich and my husband the porky. Everything was delicious! I got the margarita taster which was fun . Only compliant I have is our drinks came out after the food, but I’m not going to bash a restaurant for something so small. Great place .

We have been coming here since 2020 and really enjoy this restaurant. The drinks, food and ambiance is great! Lisa, Dee, and Maddy will make your purr-fect drink. Evan or Jackie will make your food order great! Try it, you’ll love it!

Great food and drinks. Burgers and sandwiches are simply awesome with a tasty app menu. They changed the interior so the look is a little dull but Greta food and service.

Great food and great service. We got hot wings as an appetizer, they were cooked perfectly and the homemade blue cheese dressing was excellent. I got the Sawtooth burger with Mac and Cheese, and my daughter got the Finger steaks with Mac and cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Highly recommended trying this place if you haven't yet! 😁
