I absolutely love Caribou Coffee. It's my preference over Starbucks. Unfortunately this location never seem to make good drinks consistently and could benefit from more training. Some days my drink has flavors others not so much. It's rather frustrating. When it's brought to the attention of the staff they are never sure exactly how to fix the issue, there's always a call to the owner. Maybe more training on how to deal with issues would be appropriate. Typically employees at these kinds of establishments know exactly what policy and procedures are in place if your purchase is not up to standard of the customer or business. Staff always seem confused.

They have two lanes but only ever use one now, forcing people to either not pull into the parking lot at all (and go elsewhere), or cause a traffic jam of people trying to use the entrance as an exit... Because if they exit onto Shawnee Mission Parkway, they will most likely scrape off the bumper of their car. I've gone elsewhere probably 3 times out of 5 in the past month because I wasn't able to pull into the entrance.

Firstly, I want to give props to the ladies working at the window today. I was in line across a man in a white truck who got out and stood by the window and cussed at the girl working when she asked him to get back in his truck. I was impressed with how professionally she handled the conversation despite how unreasonably nasty the man was to her. My drink was awesome and my food was hot. Keep up the good work.

First time visiting and the breakfast sandwiches are amazingly good and fresh. I had the ham egg cheese croissant and beyond sausage egg cheese ciabatta sandwich!!!!! Also had the strawberry daiquiri non alcoholic chilled was a good drink as well. The employees are pleasant I will be back soon!!!

The lattes are SO SWEET that I couldn't taste the coffee and the chocolate was so present in the s'mores mocha that it was THICC. But I know folks like that kind of thing, so hey.

Coffee was good but not labeled, and she gave us the wrong drinks LOL. I asked for the bagel very lightly toasted for my very picky child. She said no problem but it was burnt, so he didn't eat it. Overall, service was friendly, but we weren't really happy after spending $35 to get everything wrong.

I'm a bit addicted to this place. The lumberjack sandwich is my go to. If they aren't sold out. And a campfire mocha helps wash it down. I've never had a bad experience here, and I've been there a lot. I don't usually give 5 stars to anything. 4 stars is the norm. It certainly beats the woke competition. And if Caribou falls into that category, they don't advertise it as far as I've seen. Keep it sane and I will keep coming. Yeah their exit onto Shawnee Mission Pkwy is bad. You will probably scrape the underside of your bumper if you exit wrong. But they do have a sign warning you. I won't dock points for this. It's obvious as you approach that it's a doozy, just be a responsible driver.

Always excellent service and always amazing people. The one time they accidentally handed me a hot, they immediately fixed it to iced and were extremely gracious about it. Definitely worth the stop in the morning and always quick.

Really like this place and different twist on brkft food and coffee. Try the Caramel High Rise- good every time!!

Best coffee you can get from a chain and it's never as busy as any Starbucks. People are very nice as well. My only complaint is that they don't use the two lanes correctly. They work orders in the way they are received, period. If 10 cars have placed their order in the right lane and there are zero cars in the left, you may as well get in the 10 car Lane because you will wait on the left side until all 10 of them have their order before you will get yours. Their computer system doesn't put them in the correct order for whoever is up next at each window. I don't mind waiting in line, but there should only be one lane if there is one line. I think there are two lanes only because their lot is small, and so more people can get in line without blocking the street. You have to adjust your order process when you do that though especially as a drivethrough coffee shop

I drink a lot of coffee and this place is by far my favorite. The baristas are always so nice even when we have a long, confusing order. The daily trivia is a fun activity while you're waiting for your drink. All of their coffees are delicious but I especially recommend the ones with caramel. All that to say, this place is incredible and I will continue to come here for a very long time.

I've been going to Caribou Coffee for about a year there. Whenever I've gone through the drive through, I'm always greeted kindly and patiently (whenever I am looking at the menu to try something different) or if I have any questions. I'm never rushed, and my coffees have always been perfect. My favorites are their White Mocha Vanilla coffees and their matcha vanilla lattes (hot or iced) and my boyfriend likes their Campfire Mocha or Mocha malt.

Better than Starbucks. I opt for Caribou every time. Friendly staff, efficient service. Great coffee & good pastries

I never have an issue with any caribou location. This location had great customer service. They weren’t too bad with the wait time.

My favorite coffee shop stop! Custom make all you favorites, hot, cold, bold and more. I need dairy free milk, and they have options! Cinnamon cake is one of my favorites. The new chicken chorizo treat is good too! There is always a trivia question at the window, answer correctly and get a discount on you purchase. Fun times and great service.

This place is my favorite!!! Wayyyy better flavor than other places and the staff have always been super friendly. I also looove love that they serve chicken and turkey sausage on their breakfast sandwiches! My husband doesn't eat pork, so it's really hard finding a place that he can eat the breakfast from. I very much recommend this place!!! And I also highly recommend the campfire mocha in either hot, iced or blended!!!

I have mixed feelings about my first visit to Caribou this morning. Let me start with the positives: the coffee was delicious (I prefer it over Starbucks and Scooters) and the gentleman at the window was friendly. The not-so-positives: Their sandwiches are non-customisable because they come prepackaged, so I could not remove the egg. This really sucks for people with allergies or those who just have a certain preference! Most coffee places I’ve been to have prepackaged sandwiches and they just remove the unwanted item before toasting…I’ve never heard of somewhere being unable to do this, which was a bummer. I settled for a blueberry muffin, which the gentleman at the window told me he needed to “check to make sure it was okay.” While it wasn’t moldy or anything, I could tell it had been sitting for a while (super mushy, falling apart, soggy). I wish I hadn’t gotten it because it wasn’t fresh and it also didn’t taste very good. I would come back for the coffee and I would love to try a breakfast sandwich if I could order it in a way I could actually eat it.

Good products, and employee was friendly, even though I ended up being a difficult customer without meaning to. Caribou, the partial menu with pictures is supposed to look nice and promote certain products. I get that. But it's really just confusing and annoying. Because all the options weren't listed on the menu, it resulted in a misunderstanding with my order and frustration for both me and the employee. I'm really tired of food services that only put up partial menus-- or worse, digital menus that shift while you're looking at them.

My husband and I stayed in the immediate area for 2 nights. We visited this location twice, and both times we had great service and coffee. Line moved swiftly. The servers were friendly.

It’s almost as if they try to be as slow as possible. Never spent so much time waiting for coffee in my life.

I have been a long time fan of Caribou Coffee, and I love that there are several locations in the KC metro. I wish there were even more. This is a drive through location easy to find on Shawnee Mission Parkway. The staff here are incredible. Even though I can't use my large collection of reusable Caribou Coffee tumblers during the covid-19 era, the staff here still gave me 10% off for bringin it. I'll be happy when this stuff is over and we can get back to saving the planet.

The drive through line runs a bit slow at times, but the coffee quality absolutely makes up for it. I typically get the turtle mocha with dark chocolate and my wife the regular mocha with dark chocolate. The dark chocolate allows for a really good flavor while dampening the sweetness of the drink. The only real criticism is the driveway on the north side of the building. It is incredibly steep and you have to take the turn really wide to keep from scraping the bottom of your car. There is another way in on the west side that is easily accessed and won’t try to eat the front of your car though, so definitely take that one whenever visiting.

Not from here, so we tried something different. Some of the best drinks around. Better than supporting Starbucks.

They can make a London Fog which is a favorite of my husband. I like to try seasonal specials. Lots of options.to dress up your drinks.

I treated my dad to a coffee after he helped me pick up a dresser from Ikea. Mine was pretty good, no complaints but also nothing special. For $5.19 I kinda want something that will leave an impression. I forgot to ask how his was but he neither complained nor waxed poetic about it so I assume he felt about the same as I did.

I'm changing my rating because they are always closed when they are supposed to be open and the drinks take a very long time to be made. Always in like for at least 5 min For the simplest things. The staff is always friendly tho so thats why it's a 2 star.

First of all, they didn't know what a tall skinny latte with an extra shot was or how to tab that into their system so I ended up with a medium Northern lite hot coffee that had some fat-free vanilla which I did not expect at all, also no extra shot the coffee taste itself was very weak behind the vanilla. And then leaving this location my car scraped hard on the steep exit onto Shawnee mission parkway ugh. Probably won't be back.

Just love their coffee also have kids drinks and smoothies. I use the perks so I get free up grades. Generally pretty fast even during their rush hours.

We went through the drive- thru for coffee. I wasn't super impressed with what I got. It wasn't bad, I just have my favorite coffee place, so this was ok.

The folks that work at this location are very kind and knowledge! Although I rarely venture outside of my normal coffee, the folks here are always ready to help Ana make sure you leave here with exactly you wanted. The location and easy to get in and out just makes it even more efficient and convenient

Almost always excellent service quick service friendly service. The coffee drinks are almost always worth the drive. But if there is an issue I do not believe the training is adequate. There was no I’m sorry what can I do to fix the problem it was sorry ice melts.
