Really nice and clean place, great quality for the price. No insects or roaches, beds were clean and comfortable. NO BREAKFAST, but that wasn’t why I booked this place. On Main St, so expect some fun characters, but close to the places I need to go to. I think it’s recently remodeled because the room was very very nice. Staff was nice and helpful, AC works fine, TV works fine. Pool was clean and beautiful. Didn’t have a couch or an alarm clock, but there’s a chair. All in all, a great place to stay for the price. Bathroom sink had a crack in it, same with the microwave, but really clean and neat throughout. There’s a lingering smoking smell in the halls, but not in my room. Would stay again

Just giving a heads up to all of you who use the travel apps to book hotels. On this occasion I used the Hopper app. I was looking for very inexpensive since money is very tight. I paid 59 bucks through Hopper. When checking in I did mention going through the app, however, the hotel charged another 69 bucks. I wasn’t aware until close to checkout and approached the manager about a refunds. This manager refused to refund the money claiming. If the responsibility of the Hopper app. I hold this hotel liable for the money the toon out of my account. The manager is well aware this could happen and it is expected for us to understand a double bill. BEWARE ALL!!!!! THIS IS A.SCAM!!!! IF THE MANAGER KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND REFUSES REFUND THEN SHE IS PART OF THE SCAM AND A THIEF . I’m still in the process of talking to all avenues. Just another example of how the rich rob the poor to fuel their lust for money. To all you who live day to day, make sure the charges are correct. As for me I’m staying far away from this place.

Place seems sketchy in the surrounding area. Room smelt like cigarette smoke. Woke up in the middle of the night to find roaches in the bathroom and some on the tv stand/microwave area. We left immediately to find a better place to stay. Was booked and seemed like a nice place thru the pictures but it wasn't as advertised.

Honestly this place would've been fine other than the odd lack of furniture and the questionable beds. No protective cover at all between the mattress and the sheets, and the sheets were so thin you could see the dirty mattress underneath. Deal breaker for me. The beds were probably great fifteen years ago. Sketchy area, but I knew that when I booked. Front desk gals were nice, though.

This place is a total dump and they don't offer anything that is listed other than pool use, which the pool doesn't look like it's clean. The gym is unavailable and no breakfast is offered. Rooms are in need of repairs and has a terrible odor. They charge a deposit from your card before you get to the property, so even when you identify all the faults they still don't refund the deposit. Wish there was zero stars to give

Many of these reviews are misleading. For starters the hotel is not in the best/safest area if you are visiting Phoenix. Secondly, the room smelled of a strong deodorizer, there were cigarette burns on the room chair. The sheets were yellow and discolored. The toilet had a crack on the seat, which was repaired with tape. Barely any towels, and the towels they did have looked used. Lastly the walls of this hotel are paper thin. I could hear conversation, noises and all sorts from guests next door and above me. I would never recommend this hotel for anyone that is a tourist or visiting the area.

There were endless cockroaches everywhere, I don't know if I went to stay or to help them kill cockroaches, in the end, I ended up killing more than 20 cockroaches in the room and being alert not to let them climb on the bed or get into my luggage. Noises everywhere, lack of hygiene, furniture and ventilation, longterm residents who do not stop making noise upstairs and next door, I do not recommend this inn at all, it's the worst.

Bianca at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She is a hard worker and very accommodating. The hotel has an excellent jacuzzi. Most of all, it's the customer service of the staff and cleaning crew that make it such a great place!! Thanks Bianca!

It's a scam they take half or more of your deposit claiming you were smoking in the room. We don't even smoke cigarettes. I was looking on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website and they've done this to multiple guests. I was counting on getting that deposit back knowing d**** well I didn't smoke really needed that 100 dollars back.

Stayed overnight while on the way to the salt river, even after reading some sketchy reviews. Room was clean, Reception was friendly. Pool & hot tub were clean and amazing. Yes some people live here, yes there was a few characters. Overall looks like they are trying to make improvements. Felt safe and would stay again when in town.

NO!! Do NOT do it. I am currently trying to get a refund for the horrible time my family had here. It is the noisiest motel I have ever stayed at. They actually drill, saw, and do construction work on the building in the middle of the night. There are random people yelling through the hallways at all times. The police came because of what was going on. I was scared for my life. I have a young son and I warn you, this place is dangerous. Please do not stay here if you value safety.

Decent enough room(205). But very noisy. There was lots of highway noise, as well as noises from other rooms and the hallway. Room was decently clean, except the shower. Hair from the last person was still in the tub. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I had no other options.

The highlight of this hotel has to be the wonderful service of the front desk lady Esmeralda. She was so polite and very knowledgeable. I recommend a a possible promotion or a higher role in your establishment .she is a star for this place. Me and my family spent a few nights there and she made it feel very welcoming. For that I would come back and will recommend this place to my friends and family. The location would have been nice if it wasn’t on a one way road.

Perfect location right by the light rail, a grocery store, gas station, and many restaurants to choose from. Rooms are AMAZING, clean, comfortable, and HUGE! Amanda at the front desk is nice, accommodating, and helpful! Entire staff is kind and courteous! Wonderful experience!

The absolute worst hotel experience we have ever had in our team's 11 years of travel! One room had a dead animal in the AC unit, one room had a machete under the bed, one room had blood stains on the sheets, one room had a tv that kept turning on in the middle of the night. I woke up to a lady pounding on my door asking for a place to stay because her husband kicked her out. The next night there was a dog barking in the room above me the entire night. We had 3 coaches rooms leave after the first night (3 night stay), and they said they would reimburse us once they talked to the "manager". We never received our refund, in fact, every time I call in, the "manager" is not there. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Bring your own toiletries. Single ply everything, including the towels. Love the jacuzzi and pool. Pet friendly and lovely staff!

One of the nicest Studio 6's I've stayed at! Highly recommend!

Front desk was very friendly and my room was very clean, I got my extra pillows as I requested. Coffee was great!!

  • 1/5 Heather B. 1 year ago on Google
Not sure where the other reviewer stayed but if this is the nicest Studio 6 he stayed at I would hate to see the others. There were cockroaches all over the bathroom, people going through the halls at all hours of the night making noise, people partying in the room above us, the bed squeaked every time one of us moved, and a bus full of what I guess were migrant workers came in while we were complaining to the desk about the party above us and were being “checked in” in a secured room off the first floor hallway at 2:30 in the morning… This was the worst place I have ever stayed by far.

Its not really a Studio 6 but it is a nicer motel than most the rest of the Motel 6's. Newly decorated and still in good shape. For the neighborhood it's in, I didn't see any homeless hanging around. Amanda at the front desk is awesome, she deserves a raise or else some other hotel is going to steal her away.

Simply and for the most part beautifully furnished! Biggest hottub I've ever seen of any hotel! Mini fridge, A/C and microwave worked excellently well! Would be nice if they had a breakfast and also if they could replace the curtains

(Run, Unprofessional, Unsanitary and Rude) Horrible stay If I could give this place no star I would. I stayed here with my husband and our 1yr toddler for 3 nights. 1st night we checked in we realized all the pictures were fake it look’s nothing like the pictures at all. The only furniture was chair for outside and the broken outdated bed. Everything was dirty and dingy. 2nd day the ironing board fall off the wall into 6 pieces. They don’t clean the rooms properly it was an old honey bun stuck behind the tv that was never removed. When asked for more towels we never received them. I tired to put my trash out and was told to leave it in the room until we leave. It was roaches crawling on the sink area. Just nasty, please run far from this place. They have multiple ppl living in the units. This place is not safe or healthy for children or ppl traveling with kids. Unless you don’t mind having the bare minimum and staying in filth for $100 a night.

This place has seen better days. It's run down with a lot of maintenance issues. The rooms are sparsely furnished with beat up furniture. We thought the plumbing was going to pull out if the wall in the shower. Next time I visit this area I will stay somewhere else.

  • 3/5 Bryce H. 1 year ago on Google
Very friendly staff very polite. The room could definitely use a maintenance service bathroom door was broken, bathtub was running no matter what you did to try and stop it ( shut it off) shower head leaked worse then the titanic. The worst part was there were bugs in the room . It's wasn't the worst place I have ever stayed but could definitely use some help.

Well, I wouldn’t have stayed here due to the reviews but this week (2nd/3rd week of January) the rates went sky high at the hotel I usually stay at. Points were not going to help with the four days I had to stay… So instead of Comfort Inn Suites I had the pleasure of staying at Econo Lodge. The phrase “You get what you pay for” became evident the minute I drive up. Staff was nice and courteous and I found no problem with them. The rooms were ok and not having carpet was a plus - especially in this price range of regular clientele. I didn’t have any real issues with the actual room. The problem with thin walls is a by-product of when it was built and it probably was not even an Econo Lodge when it was built. Note To Readers: 1. Towels - The towels provided will take you three times as long to dry off. The are essentially just cheap white rags cut to size by whomever manufactured them. I can understand the reason why but I’d put a policy in place that if you can ask for a better quality of towel and return it without stains and blood then you won’t be charged. 2. Walls - You can hear your neighbor if they are not the courtesy conscious type. 3. Breakfast - There is no breakfast provided but there are plenty of snack machines. 4. Lighting - The lighting here is pretty good but that doesn’t mean the hooligans cruising through the parking lot on bikes or the interesting people in the trailer park next door are keeping an eye out for opportunities. 5. Tenants - This place may have some long term renters or some of those types that like to scream at their kids, talk extra loud, cuss and fight during sleeping hours, let their kids do what they want at your peril.

We had cockroaches in our bathroom and everywhere were long hair strains. There are lots of permant residents living in the hotel - it is very loud and seems shady Won‘t recommend it to anyone-stay away

When I rented a room for the night I didn't realize that I was coming back to rent again . Hotel staff has been great . Due to past hotel nightmares experiences , I asked to see one of the rooms and she showed me a room . I'll take it . These rooms are big and plenty of space . Could use more furniture but you get in every room a mini fridge , microwave , coffee maker and a big flat screen TV . No at some hotels it a get what you get . For the money this hotel is great and staff has never been rude or disrespectful. I came back a few weeks later and I will continue to come back . Wish they had a hot breakfast but maybe one day. I know that if I like this place so will you . I've yet to see any bugs here . Thank you very much for making my stay easy and peaceful.

Very pleasant check in, room was already comfortable, so no need to wait for the AC to cool it down. The pool was open. Nice little balcony, very clean. Short walk and you can get on the Valley Metro Light Rail. Looks like there used to be a restaurant or breakfast area as part of the hotel, though not open at this time. Probably because of covid.
