If I was going off of the food alone, 2 stars. If I was going off of the staff, 5+ stars. We were greeted well and the staff was truly phenomenal (great customer service). Definitely a family feel. However, our calamari appetizer was overcooked (calamari was rubbery). The Pescatora Sud risotto (pictured) was watery, and we also had seafood pasta which was served in the pasta water it was cooked in (and without a taste of the wine sauce). Likely just an off night considering it was extremely busy, and we will likely be back based on the great customer service.

Was looking for a place to impress out of town guests. Taylor was very attentive, along with the owner. We went on New Year’s Eve, not expecting the best service. Boy were we wrong! The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the lasagna!

First time visit. Was incredible. Scott was very informative about the dishes and the presentations were awesome. Each of our party had a little different dish. Very tasty. The staff is very friendly and the cost is perfect.

When we walked in and asked how long the wait was the hostess told us she didn't know because people don't tell her when they will be done eating. That was an odd thing to say. Our server was very nice. Our food was okay. The bread was very stale we ended up leaving half of it The carbonara was fine had good flavor the angel hair pasta was cooked well. However the Bolognese was tasteless and bland, this is one of my favorite dishes and I was looking forward to it all day but it was so bad I sent it back, I never send stuff back also to really drive it home my son loves pasta! Loves it and he didn't want the Bolognese at all. I ended up eating a small portion of my husband's carbonara and my salad. The salad was ok. The balsamic dressing and blue cheese were delicious but the lettuce they put in was all iceberg lettuce and not even the leaves it was the core, that is not only cheap but not good in a salad. Now I get to go home and cook dinner for my son because he didn't like the pasta. Bummer The staff was very nice about the Bolognese and refunded it but we're so bummed because this place looked so good

My wife and I came here as a "let's just try it out... What could go wrong?" Type of adventure. My loving wife made a comment that I couldn't agree with more.... "The only thing wrong with this place is... We didn't find it sooner!". The food was above and beyond the expectation for a good place to get an Italian meal. My wife is from New Jersey and has never lead me down a path of eating in a not so great restaurant, especially Italian food. The food is magical to say the least. The staffed team worked so well together that it made the time here enjoyable and special. I have since told my adult son and many friends about this place. Too bad there's not a 10 star rating Came back this evening... Did not disappoint... Consistent 10 stars out of 10 stars

As an Italian man I cannot state enough how wonderful the dining experience was at Alessia's. The pesto was creamy, the gnocchi was amazing... I had to get two desserts because I couldn't decide. The lemencello cake was light and delicate, it was a beautiful summers day dancing on my tastebuds. The cannoli however was perfection. Absolutely perfect. It was rich without overbearing, the creme was substantive instead of other places that I know with weak filling. The crispy shell was a proper density for just the right crunch. It was perfect. I came to feed my stomach but my heart was what was filled. The service was exquisite. Our server Kelly was professional and warm, she radiates Italian hospitality. If I could give this 7 stars I would across the board. They don't over charge either, the prices were absolutely reasonable for art that you can eat. I felt like the food critic in ratatouille, it was outstanding.

We started with calamari the red sauce had great seasoning and the calamari melted in your mouth. I had Northern seafood risotto my partner had the lasagna with bolognese sauce that he loved.

This is one of the best little family restaurants in the valley. You are greeted by a smiling face and a family hug. Had a wonderful table with knowledgeable wait staff. Food was amazing.

Pretty good. Had the filet which was undercooked but a very generous portion along with a salad. Nice attentive service!!

My wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary here tonight. The wine and food were fantastic! Best seafood we have had in Mesa by far. Our server Kelly made the experience even better. We are looking forward to returning in the future. Thanks for an awesome evening.

Great local restaurant. Great food, amazing service, would give it 5 stars but we feel it's a little over priced, the pasta used to be made in house and it was worth it, but it's not as good as it used to be. The muscles are really good, and the portion is bargain. Our 4 year old was really well behaved, and they let her pic a toy from the treasure chest. She picked out a Pop It!

We celebrated my wife's 62nd birthday here because they served Veal. We dine out frequently, and this was one of THE BEST eateries we have dined at since before COVID. They had not received our reservations (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) but were able to accommodate a party of.11. From food to service, it was AMAZING

The seafood special tonight was more than special. Flavors and cooking of shrimp and scallops were fantastic. Also enjoyed their garlic bread for the first time. Was also impressed with their house wines! Need to add that the staff was also fantastic!

This is a little different from the Italian food I'm used to... apparently, this is Northern Italian cuisine, as opposed to the Southern, Sicilian that I'm used to from my mother's cooking. That being said, we got the special, lemon pepper chicken on a bed of angel hair pasta, and it was simply delicious! My mother ordered the cheese ravioli, it was just "good," but she likes her own better(spoken like an Italian home chef!). My father ordered the salad and he was happy.

Food was okay.. not the best but not the worst. There are many other places I would choose over this one. The atmosphere inside is nice though. The meatballs unfortunately taste like frozen meatballs, which was gross. The cheese ravioli was nice, but the sauce was very watery, even in the spaghetti, the sauce was not thick at all, it didn't have much taste because it was so watery.

Our server could have been better. My friend is allergic to pepper and made sure to mention it when ordering her meal. The salad came out and her mouth started burning because the dressing had pepper on it. The server noticed she didn't eat her salad and let her know he would not charge her for the salad, but never offered to get her a salad without pepper. When her chicken picata came out she looked closely at it and told the server it looks like there is pepper on it. He said he was sure there wasn't, but then decided he should check and sure enough it had pepper on it. He said they were going to remake it quick, but I was done eating when her food arrived. I had heard good things about this place, but I was not impressed.

They have a great wine selection. I personally LOVE the desserts. We had pastas and they were all delicious. Kelly and Scott are great! They've got great suggestions, knowledge and always a joy to talk to.

We heard about Alessia's just the day before we went with a party of six. I would totally recommend getting reservations weeks ahead of time. With the short notice in mind, they got us seated as soon as they could. Our servers were so friendly and he gave us some great ideas for our meal. The food was fantastic! Unassuming dining spot located in a strip mall. Had a great evening here as the food and service was top notch. If you like Italian wine, you will love it as they have a fantastic selection at a reasonable price. Can't go wrong spending an evening here.

I can't say enough about this awesome authentic Italian restaurant. The owners John and his wife are outstanding people they're great to the community they provide great food and a great atmosphere. In all his staff are top notch. No matter what bartender he has working they're very knowledgeable about his Italian wines.

Best Italian food I've ever had! I can't recommend this place to enough people! The food tastes authentic and service has always been amazing. Wide variety of wine and craft beers to choose from. Everything is priced very reasonably.

I was greeted upon entry 😊. I googled food near me and this place came up. So I saw a pic online with shrimp, sausage and red sauce. I love shrimp. 😋 So I decided to give a go. Honestly the shrimp serve this dish no justice, so I removed them and cooked them a lil more. The dish it self is good, it's NOT salty but you can definitely taste the salt. I'll definitely be back, to dine in. Thanks Scott ☺️

This is my third time here and I never get disappointed. I sat at the bar this time and Jordan, the bartender welcomed me with open arms and was a delight to get service from. The food was impeccable; service fantastic and I felt that I was in Italy again because the food is genuinely Italian. Yes it is pricey, but you receive so.much beyond just the food; A nice welcome from the owner John, happy and satisfied customers and good conversation

Wonderful atmosphere, intimate and small. Absolutely standout wine list. I had the chicken marsala and it was excellent. My hubby had a mixed seafood dish and raved about it. There were so many items on the menu we we want to try so will be going back soon. Our server was so so friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the wines. Her recommendations were excellent.
