We had a fantastic meal here which included Land of Enchantment, the ribs, and a sopapilla. Literally everything was top notch. The beef tenderloin medallion with jalapeno hollandaise was the best steak I have ever eaten. The service was friendly and attentive. I wish I lived nearby so I could try everything.

I really love this restaurant, such a great place to get New Mexican food. They use a blue for chip that is thick and crispy with a great salsa, be sure to pace yourself and not get full be for the meal. We really have enjoyed most of their food, plenty of great options. They do tenderloin well, so watch for that as an option. What I really go for is their Amaretto sauce. It is a sweet cream that my catch you off guard at first but once you get started it is hard to get enough of it. I usually replace most of their sauces with the Amaretto. Be sure to ask for extra, just can't get enough of it. We have never left disappointed, great food and friendly staff. It can be a bit of a wait so be prepared for that on a busy night.

Based on 1 visit: The food is excellent. I had the chimichilada. My companion loved their meal too. The red sauce is pretty spicy, so you may want to go for the green sauce if you are not of having spice.

I've been going here since it first opened, over 20 years ago. Never had a bad meal. I like the Santa Cafe where you choose 3 items. The only tiny complaint is that the lobster dip is a bit small. Otherwise, it's always great!

This place was awesome. We had a gift certificate from our wedding. Thankfully I made reservations a few days before. They were not really busy but just enough to need a reservation. We were seated right away. The ambiance of this place was real nice. It had a good NM feel. We ordered an appetizer and drinks. My wife had the house margarita and she said it was delicious. Our appetizer was the salmon lettuce wraps. That was perfect kick off for our meal. It was scrumptious. I ordered the main dish "Land of enchantment". It was so loaded. I had my steak cooked medium. It was tender like butter. Both our meals were exactly what we expected and then some. This is a great place to enjoy a meal and the wonderful company of my wife. Thank you Blue Adobe.

Perfect destination for local Mexican food. We had a little wait as it was a busy lunch hour, but it was well worth it! The crab cake tacos were to die for. Would love to visit again when im back in Mesa!

This is high on my list to visit again. Somewhat random selection when looking at online map, this turned out to be a favorite. Staff was AMAZING. They worked quickly and and didn't let up to keep the patrons flowing. We arrived the night before and did not want to sit the long wait, so we made reservations for the next evening. We showed up on time, but even with a reservation, we waited more than 30 minutes. This place is very busy and we experience why. Again the staff was very busy keeping everyone happy. We enjoyed out server. The menu has variety to satisfy anyone's mood at dinner. On business trips, it's nice to find a high quality, good service location with variety to not get bored with the food. This is it! The chimichanga with soft and juicy shredded beef was excellent. I could not place the special herb or flavor added that provided a nice change to typical recipe and added a great punch to flavor. Guest with me ate the salmon wrap and enjoyed it very much. The french fries were also tasty with a modified ketchup what was included.

This is my first experience. The place was really clean. The waitress was very nice. At the advice of a friend I ordered the seafood enchiladas. Iโ€™m sure it would have been delicious, but something happened to this batch, as it was extremely salty. My friend ordered the same thing and said they had never tasted it that salty before. It really ruined the meal. The salsa was not appealing aesthetically, but it wasnโ€™t bad. Itโ€™s just not my type of salsa. The rice was pretty good, and the pinto beans were very average. The birthday treat was on the house, and the ice cream and cookie were off-the-charts delicious. The customer service was so exceptional, I gave this place four stars instead of three stars. I will probably go back and order something different.

New Mexican cuisine meets fine dining. Surf, turf, and chili peppers. Everything is good. Plates tend to be a little spicy as is their smokey flavored salsa (that I dream about).

Great little jewel in Mesa. New Mexico inspired twist cuisine. Guac on point and fresh catch Halibut was yummy. Please be patience as they are short staff but everyone is friendly and working hard.

Dined at the bar in a lively atmosphere on a recent Sunday evening. Excellent bar service. Fresh-tasting dinner salad with a pleasant dressing. Chicken Enchiladas presented with chunks of chicken rather than shredded abd were okay. Served only with beans, but missing the rice. Lots of other interesting menu choices, so probably worth a second visit.

We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday at 11:30. At that point there was hardly anyone in there. After a few minutes, we ordered. My friend and I both got the southwest pasta, my wife had the shrimp pizza and my friends wife got the chimi. It took more than 30 minutes to get our food. That got us off to a bad start. BTW the salsa is still excellent. However our meals weren't up to past visits. My pasta was bland. I had to add half a bowl of salsa to give it flavor. The pizza had lots of cheese but the pesto tasted like out of a jar. And a bad jar at that. The chimi was tiny. I remember this restaurant being great but at least for us, it wasn't anymore.

This place has great ratings and I must say, the meal has been memorable. Lazo greeted me at the door and has worked here nine years. He recommended the three choice combo meal for me. Seafood enchilada (salmon, halibut, shrimp), tenderloin relleno, pork stewed enchilada topped with a fried egg. The plate was accompanied with a large homemade tortilla, rice, and pinto beans. Their killer margarita on the rocks is perfectly balanced. For dessert I had the October pumpkin creme brulee and black coffee. OMG, the pumpkin creme brulee is amazing. Put this place on your bucket list. Life is short.

First time here. Ordered the Chimichanga with Beef. Awesome flavours and very tasty! Ordered the Chorizo Stuffed Chicken. The flavour of the sauce was so good and it overall tasted excellent! Our server was very polite and attentive. The only constructive feedback we would have was that it was very noisy. The drinks we ordered were pretty good too! We would definitely go back here again.

We went here for Valentine's Day. We did have reservations and were seated just past 7. It was packed. The restaurant was decorated with balloons and Valentine's theme. Every table was given a rose to take home. Before dinner was ordered warm tortilla chips and an excellent house salsa was served. We ordered a couple of drinks and when our server returned ordered dinner. The Tucamcari and the crab cakes with salmon. Let me tell you the food was absolutely 100% delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and the taste impeccable. They don't miss any detail and the presentation was fabulous. The service was incredibly good and efficient on this infamous Hallmark day and I can tell you the kitchen did well and our server was on top of it. I can't believe of all the years living here that I finally tried the Original Blue Adobe Grill and I left totally satisfied. I am in love with this restaurant. ๐Ÿ˜

Very intimate! Make reservations! We waited an hour for a table and were able to get a seat at the bar. It was worth the wait! Our bartender was amazing and beautiful personality! The queso is warm and cheesy goodness! The Cruise Daddy is the perfect sweet/sour margarita to compliment any dish on the menu! The salsa has this flavorful chipotle with the right amount of heat.

I was on my own for Dinner tonight so I found myself at The Original Blue Adobe Grille in Mesa. I tried a little of everything based on what they marked as "House Specialties" to give the meal the best chance. Here's what I had and my thoughts: - Chips and Salsa About the only average part of the meal. Standard cantina chips. The Salsa had an appropriate spice level. - Guacamole It was fine. I personally prefer more tomatoe chunks in my guac. But the spice mix they put on top made up for that. - Spooning Rellanos Great stuffed peppers. Mix of beef tenderloin and Chorizo which they didn't skimp on. Smothered in green Chile, which was perfect. - Pumpkin Crรจme Brรปlรฉe I personally love a good Crรจme Brรปlรฉe. I thought it was kind of odd to find this at a Mexican restaurant, and it was something I'd get again. My only criticism here is that the top didn't pass the crack test. It was soft and more the consistency of a Crรจme Caramel (Flan). Flavor was fantastic though. The place wasn't busy and had a family vibe. Overall I'd give the place 7.2/10.

We got a table very quickly in a cute corner where we could hear each other, which we greatly appreciated given how loud the atmosphere is. The house margarita was very good, priced right. I always say if they get the margarita wrong, it's downhill from there. Not so here. Salsa was delicious. 2nd basket of chips was hot and fresh--not the first, however. My veggie enchiladas were great, but carrots barely cooked, maybe slice them thinner. Loved the rice and beans, although my husband said the beans were too spicy for him. Quirky decor makes this place cute. Beautiful bathroom sinks!
