The kids love this park. We make sure we visit when we come from Tucson. It’s been run down a little since the last time we were there. Some of the equipment is broken or gone. Overall it’s still a really fun place.

Solid park, probably the best one in Mesa. Close to downtown Mesa and Tempe and next to the Cub’s spring training. Great place for little kids. The play area is legit and is well constructed. A large walking path surrounded by water is always a plus in the desert. All in all a solid park, not life changing but a perfect place to spend an hour or two at during the cooler months!

Very nice and well kept park. I can’t believe not one person has brought up the homeless who reside here and sleep all over the tables. But they seem to not bother anyone, and with that aside and it is a nice park. A few of families with kids here.

Super Park to go to for morning walk and have a breath of fresh air. The ducks and swans are simply beautiful. People are usually walking their dogs, having a seat at one of the many spacious benches by the ponds, kids playing, love.

Love this here . It’s very close to our home and being a singer /model I often go here for some shoots and all the pics come out great . It’s a perfect evening spot and you can fish or walk with your dog ride your bike or even do a picnic , that too in the center of the city. In the evening you can watch ducks pigeons and all grazing there . It’s beautifully maintained .

This place is awesome for any age. It includes a lake that has public fishing, a big playground with a large splash pad for adults and kids. It also has a nice paved walkway around the entire like lined with benches and picnic tables throughout it. There's grills to have cookouts and picnics. It has been restored and reconstructed over the years and is now also the home of the MLB Chicago Cubs Spring Training Camp right next to the park. It has been transformed into a absolute beautiful park versus how it looked years ago.

Large open green hills for a plethora of outdoor activities from jump rope, scooter/ bicycle riding, outdoor sports, fishing, and feeding ducks. Great place to spend a couple hours with family and enjoying time together. Highly recommend for all ages. There are play grounds for children of all ages including adults, converted ramadas for events and gatherings. And public restrooms are located here as well.

This spot is wonderful for any age. It incorporates a lake that has public fishing, a major jungle gym with a huge sprinkle cushion for grown-ups and kids. It likewise has a pleasant cleared walkway around the whole like fixed with seats and outdoor tables all through it. There's barbecues to have picnics and picnics. It has been reestablished and reproduced throughout the long term and is currently additionally the home of the MLB Chicago Fledglings Spring Instructional course right close to the recreation area. It has been changed into a flat out lovely park versus how it looked a long time back.

As a single father, we're always looking for great parks in the east valley. This one is the clear winner. While it's by far the largest park geographically that I've ever seen, the size of the attractions are heart stopping for a parent. Kids, however, were completely non stop. Great place to go for families of any size.

I really enjoy this park, one of the best ones I've been to in Mesa. Wonderful pathes to walk and lots of grass for any recreational activity. The lake part is clean and you can occasionally see fish jump and ducks float around. Plenty of Benches as well, gets a little sketchy after dark but other than that it's very well kept.

The best park in the area. Parking is sometimes hard to find, but there's a lot to do and a overflow parking spot a short distance from the main area. There is also a concrete path for biking, jogging and walking that leads past Tempe Market Place to the West and follows the canal past Cinemark 16 to the East at the back part of the overflow parking area.

I highly recommend Riverview Park! This being mentioned, this destination is adequately spacious w/ wide sidewalks. In addition, this site includes a beautiful lake for fishing and offers photography opportunities. I enjoy visiting this park to visit the blossoming flowers!

This park is perfect! It’s a large playground, divided into sections. The splash pad is fenced off with only one entrance, making it so much easier for parents to control when they use it. The toddler/preschool area includes a scavenger hunt that my kids really enjoyed. There is a zip line, which is always a hit and several different kinds of climbing equipment.

Beautiful park for everyone! Lot of things can be done, walking, biking, skate, Fishing, interesting playground for kids of all ages. There is a small hill to relax with stunning views in the evening specifically. Parking is just next to the park on roadside which is mostly occupied in peak times. Very scenic lake to take beautiful pictures.

Wonderful place to bring the kiddos. They have so much fun. ♡ Gets a little crowded.. but I suppose that's somewhat of the norm down there.

The park seems unsafe for kids because they could severely hurt them selves from going from splash pad to playground

Attended the sangria and craft beer festival last evening. Very well run with over 40 vendors providing samples of thier products. There was also an abundance of carnival type foods for purchase. The music from the 80s and 90s was first rate.

Clean. Beautiful. Green. Socially acceptable. Family friendly. Pet friendly. Modern playground for all ages. Water park area was clean and always clear of debris. Restrooms were well stocked, clean and odorless. Picnic area...(?) Not sure if there was one or any at all. Accessible to retail stores, bus lines, and eateries. Would I recommend this park to anybody else? Absolutely.

Great place to take your dog on a walk. Beautiful views of the water and plenty of space to run around in. There’s limited parking next to the playground, but there’s arrows that’ll lead you across the street for additional parking. We mainly walked the walking trails but we’re excited to see what else this park has to offer on our next visit!

This is by far the most toddler friendly park to visit in Mesa. However, it has something for all ages and sizes to have fun and enjoy the outdoors. What an amazing place to bring the family.

Ok ,all I can say is wow! Good job! I failed to capture most of the shear brilliance that went into the design and construction found in so many places at this park . Let me be clear. There are several areas to enjoy. All of them planned out to the last detail . The fishing lake has large beautiful concrete docks jutting deep into her oval curves . Seats coated in whatever keeps them from burning you are plentiful but also spaced far enough apart to allow for a peaceful and serene sun disking in water view full of life . Various cranes ducks geese and visiting exotic birds with a taste for the finer things gather here to feast on the Bass , rainbow trout and other quality game fish. There are several groupings of well constructed recreational interactive equipment by theme . The climbing challenges are bigger and better than you’d expect. Anything you climb is built on a colorful and very forgiving platforms that do everything but reach out and gently break your fall. We’re not talking some inch thick padding of polymer . We’re talking platforms that are padded heat resistant and also impact absorbing . I mean the whole platform gives way to anything falling to its surface . The walking path is well constructed and properly cared for and free of debris . Listen, I can’t adequately lay out every awesome feature here but if you like still lakes and rush water, green grass and foliage , if you enjoy sunshine and the sounds of nature and happy people, maybe stop by for quick refresh from the rest of the city.

This park is incredible! My boys loved it and so did I! It's has the largest web structure I've ever seen. Tons of shade and seating area. I can see parking becoming a problem on busy days. The city takes good care of the park.

This is a quite enjoyable park very family oriented. Lot of activities, equipment for the kids to exude their energy. The secret is out about this park so expect heavy volumes of people at times which could make parking difficult.. But there is a back parking lot that is accessible and right-off from the main parking itself., So be sure to look back there. You're able to reserve a ramada with covered tables & bench for special engagements or events.. I recommend Riverview, definitely a great place to spend the day or afternoon.

A fantastic playground within an already wonderful park. Riverview is well maintained and kept pretty orderly, while the play area is large and spread out it has something for all ages, not to mention a splash pad. There are also restroom facilities on site that are much nicer than those found at other parks around the valley. Great place to take the kids or go for a stroll my child has a blast every time we attend.

This park is very clean and fun! As of 07/30/2020 anyways... hopefully it stays that way. It has a pretty large kid water park as well - just water that shoots up from the ground and whatnot- it's pretty awesome. The park has a man-made lake with plenty of fishes to fish for. There are limits and rules for those who fish though. Other than that, theres a lot of open grass areas to relax on and I'm pretty sure that there are complimentary dog poo bags scattered around the park, so hopefully every owner does there part and picks up after their pooches. There's a bathroom close to the park with a water fountain, lots of covered picnic tables, a climbing tower, soft grassy hills to play on, concrete walkways, trash bins, lights at night, gazebos, benches... ducks. Never overcrowded when I go. Lovely park.
