We have been here twice this week and love it. We came on a Wednesday, and Julie helped us and was awesome. They have a flight deal on Wednesday and they give you free tokens with it, and all of the staff is generous with handing out tokens. Nick helped us on Thursday, and was just super cool guy. He helped us get the best deal on drinks, gave us some free tokens, and was super attentive to everyone else at the bar too. The whole staff seems super stoked to be here working and having fun, and it really shows in how busy and fun this place is to hang out.

A good dive bar that had 15 arcade cabinets of classic games and 6 new school pinball tables. Prices were reasonable and the whole place had a cool punk vibe. Bar food was good quality. Service was good too.

My first time here. Bartender gave us some tokens for being first timers. The drinks were great and the food was tasty. Lots of great games. Cool pinball machine. Old school and newer. We arrived at 11 am on a Saturday by noon the place was busy. Lots of fun. Great place to take the kids and a good place for adults to play late night. Definitely recommend this place. Also a location in Mesa.

Great drinks and during happy hour with any drink order you get free tokens. Friendly bar staff and not too crowded. Place was a lil small but still fun games and enough space to relax with friends.

Fun place to go to get drinks and food. I really like the menu options and weekly specials. Tots are always amazing! The only thing I would change is the volume level of music. It was very loud during the day when we went and wasn't even half full. Tuesdays-you get free tokens with food and drink!

Best place to go for a night out with the boys or to go on a date. Great atmosphere, great staff, tasty food and drinks, and top shelf arcade games that will take you back. Personal favorite was getting to play Rampage again.

I had never played pinball before believe it or not, I asked a staff member (guy with clear glasses - sorry I don't know the name!) how to play and was guided through the process. He gave me a few coins to start for free which was very nice of him. I was a little confused at first I didn't realize $1 worth of tokens gets you 3 balls (1 play) and sometimes you get free games in the mix which was unexpected and cool. I did see if you put $2 worth of tokens into some of the machines you get 3 plays (3 balls each play) - you could definitely spend some time here playing pinball. There are pinball machines with a QR code system that you can go make an account and scan the QR code on the machine to link up your high scores. I also thought it was really cool this introduces quests/achievements and experience that you can gather within this little stat-tracking system which was super neat. The pinball machines are clean, bright, loud, and all seemed to work to me. It was rather loud in there, felt like a nightclub on a Friday night, you can definitely feel the music. I just played pinball for 60-90 minutes and then went about my day, they had a bunch of arcade games which I didn't try but looked fun, the bar is of course a bar so you can grab drinks, and it appeared they had food as well. When I left I thanked the staff member with the clear glasses for showing me the ropes and being very friendly. He informed me they have daily events as well, another neat thing. I will be back again, probably with a friend or two.

I really enjoyed my time here the couple times that I have visited. I visited this arcade on New Years Eve, last weekend, and Cinco de Mayo, and every-time I have visited I have had a fun time. Here are the things I enjoyed about this arcade. There is a variety of arcade games to play here. I am not the best at arcade games, but I like to get competitive anyways. My favorite games there are the Mortal Combat games, and all the other fighting games. 😂😝🥋✨ There is usually a DJ, or music playing in the background which is freaking awesome, because then I have victory music to dance too when I win a round of Mortal Combat. 💃🏽🤓😜😎Second of all, the drinks here are delicious. I mostly get the sweet drinks like the Watermelon Rancher which is watermelon vodka, lemon juice, agave nectar, and Sprite Zero, which has a sweet jolly rancher flavor imo. Third of all , the bartenders there are friendly and helpful, which helps because half the time I don’t even know what to order. I like the strong stuff, but sweet at the same time. 🍹🍸Ya know balance.😝The bartenders here gladly explain what the drinks consist of, and aren’t annoyed by it. Thank you guys for that. 🙌🏽If you are looking for a chill place to have fun, play arcade games, and drinks then this is definitely the place to visit. 😎✨🤘🏽💯👆🏽

This is a damn solid spot!! Come to this awesome establishment down on Gilbert Road. I know there are a lot of sweet options down there, but this one shines out. They have solid food and many options of it. Their associates were friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Definitely pop in, play some pinball, have a delicious beverage, or ten, and sample the vittles. Enjoy!

Had a fantastic time with the wife and the kids in a Tuesday afternoon. Food was amazing - I had the bacon and cheese slider, wife had carne asada tacos - save room for the deep fried Twinkies, those were divine. Then had a blast playing the arcade games with my kiddos. Loved that they had a lot of my favorites from when I was my kids age and we had a great time bonding over them. Definitely would recommend.

If you haven’t been to Level One Arcade Bar yet, you’re missing out! Scott and Christina have created such an awesome arcade bar with the absolute best atmosphere. Great food, great drinks, great games and great times! This is my ABSOLUTE favorite spot in downtown Gilbert. Not only is it a great time, the staff there are truly incredible. Definitely one of the greatest teams in the bar industry. Every single team member is amazing. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll be sure a great night out.

My son and I love playing pinball and this place does not disappoint. They have a decent collection of pinball games that are all in really good shape- it is obvious that they have a really good pinball mechanic on the payroll. Drinks were reasonably priced.

At @level1arcadebar_mesa, winner of Best Arcade Bar by Phoenix New Times, relive the nostalgia of the 80s and 90s with 100 retro arcade games and pinball machines, paired with cocktails that will take you on a sensory time machine. Play with classic tokens as you sip on a “Rainbow Brite” with vanilla vodka, strawberry syrup, orgeat, white creme de cacao, topped with a rainbow candy or go back to your childhood with the “Odder Pop”(yes it tastes like a grape Otter Pop), with Malfy Limone Gin, Violet Liqueur, lemon, simple, red bull blue and dried blueberries. The “Sub-Zero” cocktail for two, served with ice blue large format spherical cubes, is a vibrant punch of rum, blueberry vodka, blue curacao, basil syrup, lemon and sprite. Much like the cocktails that invoke the 80s and 90s, classic bar food options feed your late night cravings with an assortment of savory and sweet bites such as an epic Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Funnel Cake Fries, Deep Fried Oreos, pretzel bites, pizza, tacos, and chicken bites. The space is two floors, with a bar on each floor, as well as a DJ and dance floor on the weekends. Though the aesthetic is modern, retro colors such as hot pink and teal create the vibe. Happy Hour is Mon-Fri 3-7PM. Tuesdays, guests can get free tokens when they buy a drink. Wednesdays, women get free tokens.

Cool vibes and great music. Place is a little tight in space and videos games are ok. I was hoping for more games time crisis or guitar hero but beggars can't be choosers . Since its so small it makes it awkward to stand to order drinks or to squeeze into spots to see what games they have. I do love the concept of them having a monitor above the pin ball games so others can watch but personally I feel like this place is a one time stop. Best thing they have going for them is the vibes and the music too bad they don't have a dance floor.

What a bummer and killjoy. Wanted to check this place out. Fun games cocktails good. But the music was way to loud. Had to be over 85 dbs. Sustained exposure to that level or higher can cause permanent hearing damage. I pity the employees that work there. The health department should be called in. If there is a next time I will be my decibel meter and hearing protection.

Extremely pleasant staff. Quick and efficient Kitchen with good food for the price. Aaron is an intelligent bartender who can read the crowd. All-in-all, extremely wholesome experience 🙂 Matt was also excellent!!

Randomly found this place while walking in downtown Gilbert. Justin was super helpful, especially when the games wouldn’t take our coins. Totally worth a visit! Will definitely come back when I visit Gilbert again.

I was only in town for a weekend. My bro suggested it since in Renton, WA, there's a similar place called 8-Bit Cafe. The first few steps into the joint, I was sold! We were cordially greeted by Justin at the bar. We ordered some brew, and immediately forgot we didn't have any cheddar in our pockets ... he smiled, as he hooked us up with about 10 tokens for the two of us as a courtesy. GAWD dayyum, I loved re-living my childhood with standup video games, yet drinking beer while I'm at it! The footprint of the bar is smallish to area places, but gets the job done. I had to order something from the menu for a thorough review ... fried PB & J AND?! You can choose strawberry or grape jam - amazing. We only had time for a couple of beers, some game play, nosh on those quick bites, and we had to bounce. He'll be back I'm sure (lives in Gilbert) but at the least I'll visit once I'm in town again.

Went on the first Friday in October for the Disney costume event. First time here for the five of us. We had so much fun. Lots of games and they were readily available.

I've been to several gaming bars, I like this one the most. Fun atmosphere, delicious drinks, and great customer service. Games are mostly one coin (25 cents) and pinball starts at 4 ($1). Games are a good length of time so you're definitely getting your money and time out of it. Definitely recommend!
