Beautiful park. Easy access from highway, potable water available near entrance. One way loop road with great campsites. Vault toilets, bear resistant trash cans, fire pits. Reasonable rates $7/night as of this visit.

Challenging hike! Beautiful trail leading past topp Hut, the flourite mine, and up a steep arroyo to the rabbit ears plateau. Not for the faint of heart! If you go during the green season, be aware that plant growth can choke the arroyo and make passage difficult. November to December would be the best months to do this hike.

I would pre warn anyone over 30 ft long: a very very curvy, half width road is one way uphill, for a heavy loaded vehicle engine labors.Picturesque scenery, barely anyone here. Fee 7$, basic no water, no electricity multi leveled grounds, grill and table. Drinking water 4 mls away on the park entrance. Trails to walk, but quite hard as al rocky, and big sized. Photos come out amazing here. No hook ups. DRY.

Never noticed the picnic table off to the side of the trucker pull-off prior to the Aguirre Springs exit between NASA and White Sands. Great place to watch the sun rise or set. 🌞

A very well maintained National Monument with a nice selection of hikes of various lengths. Do note that the gates to get into the park open at 8am! There is exceptionally affordable camping available with picnic shelters/tables at and clean pit toilets.

One of my favorite places to go and visit. I never tire seeing those beautiful mountains. There are so many great great trails to hike on with many beautiful sights. Also quite a few historic places can be seen. In the winter it is even possible to walk in the snow.

Great place to go hiking. The trails were marked, rangers were present, and it was all clean. Very nice trails to follow with clear markings. Visitors must pay a fee to hike. Plenty of parking, shelters, and grills for a good time. We will be visiting again.

Excellent place to visit and climb up the back s side of the mountains. Super nice primitive camping spots with hard packed drives picnic tables and a public bathroom. Get back to nature by going here! Watch for the prickly flora and fauna!

The views are beautiful and the Host is nice. There are trash bins at each site. The picnic tables are made from recycled plastic and Do Not clean up very well! They seem to hold whatever is spilled , and attract lots of flies. There is no water in any of the sites, only when you first come in by the host's place, 4 miles from camp. I cleaned at the table in my area twice, trying to get it clean. Someone had spilled something sticky on it and the concrete. Most all of the tables I saw, at different campsites, could All use a Major power wash! Being Day Use areas are not designated, I guess cleaning up the campsites behind everyone isn't feasible at $5.00 for Day use and $7.00 for overnight. The locals use this place a lot. It's fairly quiet during the week, But it is party central on the weekends. Too many Do Not have camping etiquette!!! Three different people, walked right through my camp on a weekend. Totally Uncool and uncalled for! Oh, and if a party is being held, they will try and park in your campsite! I kid you not. The park host came by while I was telling someone Not to block me in. He had some orange cones in his pickup, and left me one, after he ended up telling someone else not to park in my campsite. It stopped that issue. I did a walk around after the weekend to see how " The Locals" treated their campsites. Sadly it was disgusting. Trash left behind, plates, popped balloons, straw wrappers, soda and beer cans, with trash bins at each site. Used toilet paper left in fire rings, with Vault toilets feet away! Somehow, at this park, pack it in, pack it out, leave no trace got lost in the " shuffle. " I will definitely avoid this Park on a weekend, should I come this way again.

Beautiful setting with the mountains amd view of the valley below. The campsites are well spaced especially in area B however, the larger flatter sites are in area.A. Pine tree Trail starts right out of the campground. Look out for 1000 feet elevation gain. Enjoy.

You get a good 3-4 hr workout, definitely worth the hike. During summer time, be sure to be hydrated and bring plenty of water. Great senic views.

Love the Baylor pass trail. Very well maintained. Not very hard, but if you plan to go during the summer bring plenty of water. Gets hot pretty early.

Drove in...drove out. Felt I wasn't prepared enough for a night of the wind, the elevation and the proximity to snow. My bad knee had already hiked its mileage quota for the day. But it would possibly be a great camping spot in different weather conditions.

What can you say about this wonderful mountain range? A range of trails for most abilities, historic places to visit and places to camp. One of the reasons we moved here!

Every time I visit the mountains look a little different depending on the weather. I always see something new there. Definitely have to go check them out in the fall time though.

I love to take people on the scenic drive overlooking the base. It is great visiting either part because the two sides of the Organ Mountains are so different.
