Zuhl Museum: Home of the Zuhl Collection
Museum
👍👍 This place is for anyone of any age. Both my mom and my 2.5 year old toddler were loving it! Really cool dinosaur and petrified wood stuff! It was quite small but perfect size for a toddler, in and out in 30-45 minutes.

Indian Hollow Trailhead
Hiking area
👍👍 The best part of reviewing this camp ground is not revealing my favorite camp site! 😁 you'll have to drive around and find your own. Keep in mind that there is an upper loop which is great for camp trailers and RV's. The upper and center area for individual camping. Lower loop can accommodate larg...

Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park
Nature preserve
👍👍 We were in town to have some car work done, and we took a ride out to the park. The layout is very nice, and the staff have done a wonderful job with laying out the two trails, and identifying plants and geological features. Not sure what the amphitheater is used for, but it's very nice. The views a...

We also like to purchase a couple of bags of frozen chile to take to friends or family. Each quart bag holds about 6 l...

Tellbrook Park
Park
👍 Small park south of Las Cruces. Tucked away and not easy to find. Sidewalk makes it easy to walk through the park. Doesn't seem to be very frequently used. View of Organ mountains. Benches and picnic tables. Small play area. There was exercise equipment but it has been vandalized.

Picacho Peak Recreation Area - Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument
Hiking area
👍👍 Nice hike. There are a couple of different trails to do. If you are following Google maps. When it says you have arrived, just keep going straight and the road will dead end in the parking lot. Not a lot of people but a lot of fun and a great view, if you hike all the way to the top. If you...

Aden Lava Flow Wilderness
Park
👍 Interesting (to an earth scientist anyway), well-preserved crater of an extinct shield volcano, surrounded by a basalt field (which spilled from this crater as basalt lava). The most recent lava flow (easily identifiable on Google Earth as the darkest area to the east/northeast) was approximately 16...
