A amazing place to visit and bring children and family!!! You will know the Castle that was made to be a huge laboratory in 1918! You also can explore the micro world through the microscopes at the red pyramid. A biggest medicine library of Latin America is here!! You can choose what kind of exposition you want to see and you will have a professional guide to answer whatever you would like to know! Different expositions are available! I strongly recommend visit it!!! Admission is free!!! Clean restrooms and parking lot are free! Accessible to wheelchairs! There are Restaurants and drinking fountains close to the expositions, and a huge garden to walk around!

It's my favorite place in Rio de Janeiro. It's the Brazilian Science House and there a great science's museum with a lot of activities for children. You need know the Mourisco Castle. Is fantastic!

Beautiful place, the guided tour is excellent, but outside vacation time visits are only open for groups with previously scheduled by phone or through their website.

Beautiful place, a nice green area in Rio. We were just able to look at in the castle for a few minutes, after a guard came and said we should leave the building. As he, and at the reception doesn't spoke English we did not know how it can be visited normally.
