I recently stayed in the tiny house for an overnight stay with my wife, our 1.5 year old son and our dog. First of all: I absolutely cannot understand all the 1 star reviews! But not all that glitters is gold. Therefore, below are the PROs and CONs of our stay in bullet points. PER: - You immerse yourself in another world. Simply a magical place created here in the forest - After one day you feel like you've been on vacation for 3 days. Absolutely decelerated from the stressful and hectic everyday life - The houses (as I said, we booked the tiny house) are very lovingly furnished. At the end of our stay we were able to take a look into the hobbit house. SUPER-DUPER - The catering prices are fair - The playground isn't the newest, but that wouldn't fit here at all. He is (almost) perfect just the way he is. Our son (and the many other children too) had a lot of fun - There are wonderful animals running around everywhere. You can discover a lot - The staff was super nice and helpful from start to finish - The facility is clean CONs: - The sanitary facilities are very small (only one toilet each) and spartan. The showers are getting old (the silicone is coming off everywhere) and the door is not lockable. Only an "occupied" sign ensures that you can (hopefully) shower undisturbed - The restaurant closes at 6 p.m. This means you can no longer buy cold drinks. A fridge with a few drinks and a small cash register would be helpful here so that you can help yourself outside opening hours. Alternatively, a drinks machine. Next time we visit we will stock up on more drinks ourselves. - Some of the animal enclosures seem very small - some fruit or vegetables would significantly improve the “basic” breakfast All in all, we felt very comfortable and have already booked again for the end of September. ————- Update from July 2023: This is the third time we've been there and it gets nicer every time! The entire facility is designed with so much love, it's unbelievable. The houses outperform each other and I cannot understand the negative reviews about Manni and his team. Everyone has always been super nice, courteous and helpful to us. We will definitely come back, this place has something magical ☺️

You can also hold events there, e.g. E.g. weddings, birthdays, company parties, etc. There is a forest playground for children, a teepee camp with a barbecue area, a replica hobbit house and a few animal enclosures with alpacas, ponies, goats and donkeys. Everything looks quite well maintained. There is a self-service restaurant on site with a pub and a large outdoor seating area. The animals all look well cared for. We signed up for an alpaca hike with our friends, it was fun and entertaining. The price/performance ratio was absolutely fine. There are enough parking spaces available. There is a market there every last Sunday of the month (April to October) from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

If you want to treat yourself to something special, if you need nature and lightness to relax, if you have a penchant for the unusual, this is the place for you. Der Wald hält leichten Regen ganz gut ab ;) Manni, der Gastgeber, ist ein super typ!

Ein wunderschöner Ort , wenn man dem Auto-Gebrumme und sonstigem Industrielärm entfliehen möchte. Ein großartig erhaltenes Stück Natur , was mit und durch die Natur gebaut und errichtet wurde. Die Tiere sind auch freilaufend , aber sehr zurückhaltend. Kommen bei Gelegenheit aber auch mal sehr nah an die Menschen ran. Wir werden auf jeden Fall sehr bald eine Übernachtung hier machen. Die Preise zum Speisen und Trinken sind sehr gut. Ein toller Beweis für gute Gastro mit humanen Preisen. P.S. Frank, sei mal net so ernst. Dein Koch macht doch nur Spaß 🤩 Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch bei euch.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Tinyhouse und wollten es gar nicht mehr verlassen, so gut hat es uns gefallen - Gemütlichkeit pur in traumhafter Umgebung! Die ganze Anlage ist liebevoll angelegt - Auszeit vom Alltag. Der Chef und das Personal waren super nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder in den paradiesischen Wald 👍

Mitten im Wald bietet er eine Schaukel, eine Rutsche eine Wippe, ein Klettergerüst und eine Seilbahn. Neben dem Spielplatz gibt es auch noch einige Tiere zu bestaunen. Das Essen welches man im Restaurant bestellen kann ist überschaubar. Neben Klassikern wie Pommes und Nuggets gibt es zB Kartoffelgratin, Salat und Gemüsebratlinge. Preislich gesehen ist das Essen bezahlbar wenn auch eine Portion Pommes 4€ kostet. Die Getränke wie Cola, Fanta, Mezzo schlagen mit 3€ zu buche. So das man mit 4 Essen inklusive Getränke schnell bei 10€ pro Kopf landen kann. Aber mit dem vorhergehenden Kinderwanderweg hat man so eine kleine Stärkung. Beim letzten mal waren die Waffeln trocken hart und verbrannt. Weswegen es hier einen Stern Abzug gibt.
