If you're wandering the Shipyards Monday to Friday and want a chill, swanky spot to have THE best happy hour on the North Shore, don't hesitate and head on over to Seaside Provisions. A+ to Cam who was the most attentive, friendly server in ages (hey @seasideprovisions give him a raise!). Buck a shuck oysters fit the bill for a hot, sunny patio afternoon. The happy hour bevvies were deadly good, as was the lander lemonade. All small plates are 50% off during happy hour as well. I would happily go back for lunch or dinner as the service was impeccable, the food 😋, and the view onto the water park an awesome add-on.

Seaside Provisions is a restaurant inside the lobby of the Seaside Hotel. It's right in front of Shipyards, which is a great place to go with the family, for a walk or even for a date. This restaurant is usually pretty busy so reservations are recommended. Parking is a pain here, so be ready to either walk or pay for parking underneath the hotel. The staff here is incredible, especially Fiona. Super nice, very helpful, and quick with service. The food here is really good, and although a bit pricey, the taste and portions are really good. Chicken Karage is a go to. About 2 dozen tables inside, some tables outside and a bar section with TVs. Highly recommended if you're in North Vancouver.

Happy Hour oysters. That was the motivation for coming here. I'm not sure how much they were as I came late to join others and didn't see the menu, but that was mentioned. The Seaside Hotel has a pay parking lot if you want to park close to the restaurant. For free 2hr street parking until 6pm, I now use the block of Esplanade just above the Vancouver Seaspan dock. It's a 5min+ walk back to Seaside from there. Something like 4 blocks. The service was great. Servers were on top of refilling waters and checking if we needed anything else and suggesting dishes. The happy hour oysters were great. They were very tasty, and I'm usually not a fan of raw oysters. The seafood charcuterie platter, probably not a happy hour item, we ordered next was very well put together. It all tasted great. When the server listed off everything, I was blown away at how much there was. Will definitely come again if coming to the Shipyards. Next time, I will remember to look at the menu to see what's actually on Happy Hour!

Loved the Happy Hour and staff were interstellar galactic with service. I dined solo and sampled 75% of the happy hour menu. Great value, superb ambiance and the chef's creations are worth a foray to this hidden Shipyards gem. Top notch selection for any palate.

We came during Happy Hour and enjoyed the Bridge Brewing Bourbon Blood Orange beer on tap and the lobster roll. The chilli garlic prawns were so spicy that I couldn't eat any, and he only ate one. Given the cold wind and rain, I enjoyed being next to the fire. The nautical theme was an enjoyable accent without being overbearing.

Great food and great service! The staff (including the chef) are very friendly and made us all feel welcome. If you like seafood, it's a great spot with really fresh oysters and probably the best lobster roll I've ever had. My other favorites were chilli garlic prawns, scallop ceviche, brussel sporuts and the green salad. For the main course we had scallops and steak, both of which were cooked to perfection. If you are adventurous with drinks, they have really exciting and tasty cocktails too.

Not your average oyster bar, it has subtle and classy marine decode. Very trendy little spot, fresh food, unique cocktails and a menu a seafood lover will enjoy. I sat at the bar for my experience here, service prompt and friendly. The fish I ordered was out of stock, pleasant substitution with halibut seared perfectly.

Honestly, we expected way more for a hotel restaurant. That, and the extremely high price for rather simple dishes. The price tag for Valentine's meal, including drinks, was outrageous (over $150). Fortunately, we had a $50 off coupon. The service by the manager was great. He was very friendly and seated us. However, the servers thereafter were below the quality I would expect from a hotel restaurant (especially for their price tag). I didn't take pictures of the appetizer nor dessert. The appetizer was probably my favourite if I had to pick. Still, it was tiny. I guess it was an appetizer afterall. The dessert was rather sad - cheap and poorly crafted (ice cream in very cheap though baked in red cookie, and average quality cheesecake in some sour fruits). The entree was full of nonsense items. The ones that were decent were portioned quite small. To share it between two was a stretch. It felt like they intended to fill us up with carbs. Good food deserves a good price, so we don't mind spending a bit more; however, we were quite dissatisfied for the inadequate experience besides being greeted and seated. Vancouver has an overabundance of great restaurants. Each restaurant has to constantly keep up with (and/or exceed) competition to offer a rewarding experience for the palette. Unfortunately, we didn't get it here this time. Honestly, I couldn't allow myself to give one star though I felt compelled. The extra star was for the manager.

Happy hour menu is worth it! Buck a shuck 🦪 , small plates 50% off. Everything was great - we tried fried chicken, lobster roll, scallops, prawn, truffle potato, brussel sprouts. Although most dishes would be too expensive IMO if full price (34$ for a few scallops) Lobster roll would have been 19$ for a lukewarm roll with too much mayo 😬 Brussel sprouts were quartered and too burnt. Def have had better crispy brussel sprouts at other happy hours! The toasted bread that comes with the prawns was cold and not crispy. Just small details like this 😅 would be a 3-4 stars if paid full price. But happy hour so can’t complain 🙂 Would come back with friends for happy hour! Update: came back again and the oysters this time were 10x better. Risotto and burger are good as well!

We love this place ever since we moved into the neighbourhood three years ago. The service is so good, probably the best service in the Lonsdale area. This particular evening we had Paris as our server, and she was lovely & very attentive. We did not have a particularly good experience with our food on this visit, but I have to say that the management dealt with it very professionally and without any question. This level of understanding and service is sometimes hard to find in restaurants. Happy hour is great with good prices. Seafood is excellent.

Nice view and atmosphere, shout out to my waitress JENNA ! really made me a good birthday memories. We ordered 4 dozen oysters and lobster roll is amazing, 3-6PM is under happy hour, 1 dollar for each oyster. Love this place.

We stopped here randomly after an event, and had some happy hour drinks and snacks. I was *stunned* how good the happy hour menu was, especially the food options. Everything we ate was phenomenally delicious. It’s also the best and most hospitable service I’ve had in Vancouver. I’m going to come back here often for happy hour, and am excited to try dinner!

Best kept secret brunch spot on the North Shore! This spot is a hidden gem - the food was flavorful and high quality! The ambience was relaxing and warm, and the service was excellent! Highly recommend the lobster benny and the French omelette! These were their specials and they were both delicious! The house Caesar was a meal on its own! Check this place out! I can’t wait to go back for dinner!

We’ve been coming to Seaside Provisions for a couple years now. We’ve been extremely happy with their quality of food and service! We always come for the happy hour menu, which includes buck a shuck oysters. Their scallops and garlic prawns were amazing, and the lobster rolls are delicious. We highly recommend this place.

It was our first time at Seaside Provisions. Over all experience is beyond amazing. We came for happy hour and we were glad that we stopped by this place. The food were amazing and the oysters were fresh . We oldered most of the appetizers on the menu and eveything was great. We sit by the bar and we loved it. Our server Harry aka the Prince was awesome. He was super nice and he was able to explain the menu very well . He was funny and professional. The general manager Vadim was down to earth , I would say he runs the restaurant very well and staffs were well trained. Definitely we will come back again and highly recommend this place. I would give a 10 stars if there was an option for it.

The weather was amazing today so I had to come to North Vancouver to have something. It was my first time at this restaurant. Great ambiance and amazing staff. The servers were very knowledgeable and personable. Chef Tom’s creations were also esthetically pleasing and tasted amazing. I can’t believe how perfectly poached the shrimps were! Wagyu flank and shoestring fries were a good match and chicken had a little kick to it due to gochujang glaze. Also oysters were extremely fresh and reasonably priced. 10/10 would come back!

Very nice restaurant, great happy hour food and drink selections, loved the east coast happy hour oysters, the only downside is the tuna rice crisps tasted a bit stale. Other than that, everything was good! The service is also wonderful, I will be back :)

Service was excellent. The fried chicken tasted good but needed change oil. The trout was a bit fishy bland food . The oysters are not plump and not fresh. The steak was pretty good.

Highly recommend coming here for Happy Hour which runs from Tuesday thru Sunday from 3-6pm. Seaside Provisions is easily accessible by foot from Lonsdale Quay which makes it a desired location especially if you are on public transit (Seabus). The oysters were a buck a shuck and the small plates were all 1/2 off. Definitely very reasonable prices. Hard pressed to find another happy hour place that still offers a buck a shuck. I’d recommend everyone to try this place at least once.

The attentive and friendly server Knycole truly elevated our girl’s brunch experience. From the moment we were seated, throughout the meal until the end, she checked on us regularly and ensuring our needs were met. The brunch tower was little bit smaller portion for 3 people in my opinion but their french toast was delicious!

Joined them for happy hour today and the value was 🔥 🔥 Peach flavored cocktail, $1 oysters, and scallops!! Everything was very fresh. I particularly enjoyed the scallops. Those jumbo sized scallops were very tender which made them a perfect fit for the crispy potato pave underneath. The salad had a hint of citrusy sweetness, which balanced quite well with the scallops. My only complaint might be the bacon was a bit tough and chewy instead of crunchy. But in general, their Happy Hour is definitely a steal!

Seaside Provisions has been on my radar since before Covid. We always walked past it after a meal. We decided to go there for Happy Hour. We called and made a reservation anyway just in case since it’s Dine Out season. We parked a block away as we know this parking lot, there is also parking under the building. The restaurant is part of the Seaside Hotel. We arrived and were greeted by Vadim, he was very pleasant and showed us to our table. We later find out he is the General Manager, staff trainer and even floor sweeper. He worked really hard and always with a pleasant demeanour and a smile on his face. Our server Paris, explained the Happy Hour Menu for alcohol and the food is just half priced off the small plates off their regular menu. We were there for Buck a Shuck mainly.. following is what we order: First dozen of Buck a Shuck, some various sized oysters, came with the usual accoutrements. We asked if we could choose the type of oysters and our server Paris said it was up to the Raw Bar Shucker to decide for Happy Hour. Mussels - it came with one piece of grilled fried bread for dipping into sauce. We were disappointed that it came already shelled. The sauce and flavour was there but not very visually appealing. Fried Chicken - 4 large pieces of Chicken, nicely flavoured and fried with a nice crispy crunch topped with Maple glaze. Very filling and will order again. Second dozen of Buck a Shuck oysters, this round the oysters were plumper Ahi Nicoise - in the description, it says Avocado, but I think they forgot it, still nicely presented with 4 piece of Ahi, marinated salt egg, which was a little dry and Frisée salad Third round of Buck a Shuck oysters, it was mixed again. Overall, it was a great first visit and we will be back again. Great service by Paris. The place is not very large so make reservations.

I've visited here twice, the first time for breakfast and the second for dinner. Breakfast was good, albeit slightly disappointing especially when it came to service. However, dinner was a great experience. Not only were the menu items outstanding, from the oysters to the calamari, but the service was attentive and outgoing. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful, too. If you're set on having dinner in North Vancouver, this is a solid, although expensive option.

Excellent service! I loved their happy hour menu. Their oysters were super fresh. The lobster rolls and calamari were also delicious. They’ve also got great cocktail selections. It was my first time eating there, and I would highly recommend to check this place out if you ever visit the Shipyards district.
