Very nice and inviting place. Really enjoyed the vibe of this place. The walls are massive, and the decor is fantastic. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. We had pasta and the burger, and both were very delicious. You can choose how you want your burger done, I did medium, the burger was so juicy and delicious. Facilities are nice and clean. I would recommend checking this place out. My only issue was that a band was setting up and playing, and I was not able to talk to my partner without yelling... music was great if they turned it down a little.

I came here to grab a bite for lunch. They have a beautiful flowery patio, great service, and delicious burgers! I haven't tried their pizzas or tapas, but definitely will the next time I'm in the area. The brunch burger. I'm going to be thinking about it for a while - it was so juicy, came with a mouth watering onion jam, cheese, and an egg (cause it's a brunch burger!). The meat was made to order - I got it done medium, it was perfect. The fries are really good here as well. Honestly, the only better burger I've had was at Gordon Ramsay Burger in LV. I wish I came later in the day, cause I would have explored their cocktails more. I got the Jalapeno Smoke, it hit all the notes - sweet, a bit savoury, salty, and spicy. Totally loved it!

Nothing but raving reviews for this cozy yet sophisticated restaurant. I visited per se Social Corner with some family and friends and was left speechless. It was a truly awesome experience. If you're looking for the best burger in town or the sweetest staff this is the spot to for you. We tried the charcuterie board, the burger and even some of the pizzas, and everything was not only delicious but also prepared quickly and customized to our required dietary restrictions. Grateful to have had the great bar manager Julia recommend The Burger which we got all dressed and was drool worthy. The rest of the staff members were super kind and even the owner was there and said hello. The overall ambiance of the place is FAB and couldn't have asked for anything more. Everyone went above and beyond with the service and the small details. Looking forward to coming back soon and enjoying another Perfect Pear cocktail and The Burger with crispy goat cheese.

Just went for cocktails on this visit and wow they were phenomenal! The bartender was also very knowledgeable and attentive. Beautiful space. Will definitely be back for food (and more drinks)!

I’m writing this review after 5 times trying Social Corner’s food. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, Social Corner is a well-decorated Italian cafe and restaurant. It also holds a nice patio with many Jasmine and Petunia flowers in spring and summer. What I find unique for this restaurant are its brick pizza oven, in-house Arabica beans coffee brand (Ciclo), home-made pastries and cookies, and Rosalinda Spanish bar. 🍱 The food is different in this restaurant as much like its establishment and decoration. You can order anything and waiting for something delicious and different. My suggestions: Definitely, check the pizzas and it doesn’t matter which one. The bread is made from a 36-hour fermented dough and finally made in a pizza oven. You’ll love the pizza. For brunch, order Carbonara and for lunch, order Funghi (really amazing). 🥑Avocado and sourdough (brunch menu) could be your favorite with the option of adding poached eggs. 🥗 Salad are generally good. I recommend Seafood Paella as a huge and rich portion with a fantastic taste. ☕️ The coffee is above average, yet its something personal and depends on your taste. Most of te time the staff are professional and everything goes smooth. Out of many times, we just experienced a new server who was not perfect, yet high staff turnover is normal especially during Covid. Update: Spanish breakfast is good to try. Brunch Bravas is not good as a portion as its served with a lot of potatoes and one egg which is not as attractive as other options. Enjoy!👌

Excellent food all around. The waiter had incredible recommendations. Some special drinks were their rum with sweet chili and their sangria slush. Also their specialty dessert was a nougat "ice cream" cake with an almond sauce reduction (similar to a caramel). Their main dishes (The Burger, Lobster Ravioli and Seafood Paella) were all spectacular.

Hadn't heard of Per Se before, but happened to walk by. Patio looked beautiful, stuck my head inside and its just as nice inside. Next day we were here for lunch. Beautiful room, great decorating, big windows. Nice. My guest has food allergies, staff were very attentive to our restrictions and gave us great confidence. Ordered the Crab Lobster Ravioli: Delicious. Nice thin pasta stuffed full of crab/lobster, the crustaceans were the star here. Covered in a rich mildly spicy sauce that didn't overwhelm. Yummy if unattractive dish. Next the Seafood Paella. The real deal: saffron, bell peppers, lots of seafood, in a real iron Paella pan. Missing the Socarrat, for most of the pan, but I didn't mind much. This was a delicious dish. We left not a single grain of rice uneaten... With a Cappuccino it was $100 all in for two, good value for a 'treat' lunch. So: Great room, elegant/informed service, delicious food. Would be a great "date' restaurant, so my next guest is my wife...she'll love it.

Love the atmosphere. High ceilings, Latin music playing, great bar space and over roasted pizzas (including Nutella one). They have a patio space as well/heater. Staff is friendly and professional. Food is also delicious. Good cocktail list. Parking on the street sometimes is hard to find as everywhere in that area. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Great service and food! My favourite item was the Burger there. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo of the cross-section, but the beef patty was cooked to a a beautiful Medium and was very juicy and had a nice crisp to it as well from fried onions! Adding mushrooms was additional cost, but was a nice plus. The fries were replaced with Truffle Fries

I really enjoyed the food and ambiance at per se! Friendly service, thoughtful decor, and good food. The truffle ravioli was tasty but not life-changing. However, the pistachio cheesecake was truly a hit, one of the only dishes that I go back and think about sometimes.

“This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had” was a sentence we said probably 3 times as we were eating there. We ordered the Tartufina pizza and it was DELICIOUS! It is such an interesting flavor between the honey roasted walnuts and the Gorgonzola cheese. The sweetness of the honey wasn’t overpowering it just gave it a unique flavor at the end of the bite. I would 100% go back just for this pizza. The ambiance is so cozy and elegant yet funky inside. If it wasn’t too hot, the patio would be a great option too, full of plants and it seemed like a spacious comfortable space.

I finally had a chance to visit this restaurant. I did not have a reservation but the staff (Carter) was very professional and friendly in accommodating me and a friend for a business dinner. The ambiance is very welcoming and relaxing with good music in the background. It wasn't too loud as if you were in a nightclub, unlike many of the Vancouver restaurants going for the nightclub vibe these days. The ambience is suitable for business, casual, or romantic dining experience. We were served by Petr. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. He's happy to make recommendations based on your food preferences. For dinner, I had a Caesar salad along with a gourmet style hamburger. I must admit that was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The beef is freshly ground in the kitchen, which is why they can offer to serve it rare to well done. Mine was a perfect medium. The hamburger exploded with the flavor of meat, sauce, truffles, and battered caramelized onions. It had just the right taste and crunch to it. The Caesar salad was tangy. Not at all fishy. For desserts we had the tiramisu. It wasn't too sweet. I didn't taste any of the alcohol, but I'm not sure if it had any. I would have liked to see a thicker ladyfinger layer on the bottom, but the flavours are just right. Highly recommended. Overall I had a great experience and I look forward to going back and try other menu items.

If you are wanting to try a new dining scene in the city, this is a great spot. I wouldn't say the menu is truly 'Italian' as there were tons of seafood/pizzeria/burger options. Still, the food and drinks were delicious! Beautiful interior decor (dine in definitely seems better than the patio), friendly and knowledgable hosts, and great location. A bit expensive. Gets rather busy during peak hours, so I recommend going early or making reservations!

Friend took me here when I was back in town. The vibe felt sophisticated but laid back, I really like the clusters of soft spherical lights, and the wines and alcohol lining the walls behind the bar. The burger I got was rich and beefy, but the tapas I got (chorizo sausage) was just ok. The service was great in the sense that my glass of water was getting filled up every 5 minutes, but personally I found it a bit distracting.

So many times I walked near this beautiful place and since the first time I wanted to visit it. The decoration is so nice, inside and outside. We ordered the chicken paella with Tiger prawns and was just amazing. One dish was enough for sharing with my partner. My drink was the Jamaican Fizz, which is sweet with a spicy feeling at the end of each sip, I loved it. For a wonderful closure we ordered the chocolate créeme brûlée with a cup of coffee. We enjoyed a lot. Staff was so kind and the service was perfect. I highly recommend it for a delicious and comfy experience.

Amazing pizza and coffee. Nice heated patio, no reservations allowed and walk in only. Only allowed up to 4 people max in a group. It would be better if pizza was served on a wooden board so that the middle doesn’t get soggy. Otherwise amazing flavors! Brunch menu decent too, with the Spanish selection.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food is fantastic, especially the burgers – they're an absolute must-try. The ambience is exceptionally cool, thanks to the big windows and high ceiling that create a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect, and I loved the choice of having a balcony, particularly in the summer. Overall, a delightful dining experience with friends.

When you go out for an evening to dine, what are you craving for? Great atmosphere? Great Food? Great Service? Great Menu? Well.....we got that all here. The environment was actually stunning. It was tasteful, classy, chic and vibrant. Their bar is impressive and their food is creative and tasty. The Calamari was prepared the way Calamari is supposed to be prepared and unfortunately rarely is these days....but these guys got it down to a science. Fresh squid with the right proportion of batter, so the crisp accompanies the seafood and not the other way around. You taste the beautiful Squid with a light finish of batter paired with grilled jalapeno and two dips that were....well...bloody delicious. The Charred Chorizo with pita....what can I say about this beauty....just try it. Now for the Truffle Fries. Do you like Truffle fries? Well.....they serve the real ones here. I've ordered them in several other places in Yaletown and they failed. They served me regular fries sprinkled some oregano on top, charged me for truffle fries and that was it. With these guys ..you get Truffle Fries. The service was impressive. We were always take care of on a Saturday evening. Cassie was great and we also had other staff being attentive, coming by and making sure all is well. Smiles, hard work, attention and appreciation with wonderful food and a bar that doesn't compromise. What else could you ask for on a Saturday evening out?! Will be back.

What a gorgeous place to grab a bite. The service is excellent, shout out to Gavin humbling bartenders everywhere! We ordered the burrata &beets, which was delicious, had a variety of flavour and textural compounds that married beautifully. We added prosciutto to the burrata board and man was it a good call! Drinks to recommend: grounds for divorce, gambling witch, green tea… honestly I don’t think you could go wrong! Awesome spot.

I am SO impressed by this place! First time customer and everything from the customer service to the ambiance, customer service, everything was perfect. I used the napkin as a “bib” cause I’m a messy eater and they even provided me with a lint roller to clean up the lint!! Uhg the food was so good!!!

Cozy, classic ambiance with high ceilings and with little dark lights. We ordered truffle pizza(?), seafood paella, one appet that thinly-sliced meet comes with arugula. All were flavoured and delicious but one downside was the bottom part of Paella was totally blacken. Thought the chefs would be pretty skilled but turned out not really.

First up: This place has good gluten free options! I clearly underestimated how good the food is at this place..the venue is incredibly spacious and nice, very roomy in fact. The service is top and what id expect from a good restaurant such as this, but let's get to the food. I was blown away how good the Paella and burgers they have here, it's not your typical burger for example, IT IS AND WILL BE THE BEST BURGER YOU WILL EVER HAVE. The only thing they need to improve is the dessert menu. I'll go back in a couple of months and see if they improve their dessert menu and report back.

Beautiful restaurant with outside seating. Our waiter took 45 minutes to our table. He was more interested in looking after bigger tables to get a bigger tip! One of the pizzas was outstanding, and the other (margarita) was inedible. Caesar salad was very good as were the cocktails.

Really loved the aesthetic inside. Our server was very kind and came every now and then to ask if we have everything we need and came to fill our waters. The food was alright. The chicken paella was okay - the chicken was dry and the bottom of the paella wasn’t crunchy. I really enjoyed the beef carpaccio though & the steak. Those were perfect!

Great place for their burger and pizza. One of my favourite burgers and have been here a few times already just for that! They toss the pizza quite high so it’s fun to watch as well. Taken on Portra 800.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Vancouver. The food is delicious and the drinks are dangerously good! The staff are really friendly and their recommendations are really good. I don't usually like whiskey drinks but I really loved our servers recommendation which was the perfect pear cocktail. It was just a light and well balanced cocktail, basically Fall in a flute! (pun intended) I also recommend the criminale pizza plus mushrooms. It was really delicious.

Delicious food, good atmosphere and super service. We ordered the Criminale pizza, and my friends think it was pretty good. All of us loved the seafood paella, and personally I thought the lobster ravioli was also very good. The desserts were the best part, and we ordered both the tiramisu and chocolate mousse. Our waitress was super professional and friendly, and she filled our glasses as soon as they ran out of water.

This was my second time at Social Corner. The first time was last year during fall and it was nice that we could sit out in the patio where they had heaters. We ordered Pizza the first visit and wasn’t too impressed with it. The second time, we sat inside and ordered burgers. The burgers were much better and the ambiance was pretty nice for a night date. Considering the price I was expecting better taste and quality. A good place for date mights though.

Our server Tim was great and attentive! He made a recommendation for the special of the day A5 wagyu imported from Japan and it was amazing. The ravioli was perfect and full of crab and lobster. Calamari was soft and flavorful with a very light batter. We will be going back!

Super amazing interior, and love the high ceiling and pendant lights. Such a cozy and funky vibes there! Food is good, not amazing though. A bit too salty for us. Portion is so big! Service is top notch! Lovely place for dating!

We went for a family dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday. She absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is friendly, they have a huge coffe cup chandelier and very high ceilings! We had pizza, gnocchi, paella, crème bruler. All fantastic. the staff are relaxed, professional and very accommodating. The menu is really good for share plates or for individual plates. Almost like eating at home, but at an upscale restaurant. Concept works very well!

I visited this place at brunch time. The patio was so lovely!(I love the small water fountain in there.) The food weren’t what I expected for the price, but I love the atmosphere, and staff were all friendly and nice! I’d like to visit for dinner next time!

It’s an amazing place to go with your family or with friends. The atmosphere is impressive, and the food as well. Food portions are adequate and can let any regular person satisfied. The waitress was really nice and helped us find the best dishes for our party.

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. The hostess was friendly and seated us outside on the patio where we were served by Hailey (I hope I got the spelling correct). She was very pleasant and efficient. Attentive service and assisted us with changing tables when we were joined by another couple. Drinks: Estrella, Guardian IPA and Jalepeno Margarita. They were all tasty and suited both the atmosphere and food. Food: we ordered some share plates as well as individual orders. I started with the LOBSTER + CRAB RAVIOLI and shared the WAGYU BEEF CARPACCIO, CALAMARI DI MAMMA and CHARRED IBERICO CHORIZO. Taste and portion size were spot on. It was a great afternoon of just relaxing and enjoying good company and delicious tapas.

Everything was amazing at this restaurant! The service was excellent! The pear truffle pizza is to die for. The lobster ravioli is good as an appetizer in my opinion because you can get very full from just a couple. The beef carpaccio is also one of the best I’ve ever tasted—it was fresh and not overly cheesy.

  • 3/5 Andrew M. 3 years ago on Google
Went to per se social corner for dinner! Tried the criminale pizza and it was okay not a fan of it. It was burnt but was not crunchy enough. I don’t think the rest of the pizza would be good here. The seafood paella yet is amazing though I love it so much. Especially the prawn was cooked perfectly when you bite it you know! The goat cheesecake was terrible though not a fan of using goat cheese for cheesecake yet it was new for me. You can give the goat cheesecake a try and tell how was it. Nevertheless, I can only give 3 stars for this place for a place to try not to come back in my opinion!

  • 4/5 Pamela T. 7 months ago on Google
Nice atmosphere, I like the high ceilings and it’s a buzzing place. Food was decent. I got the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and we didn’t have to wait too long. Our waitress was friendly enough, but a little too fake and seemed stressed running around trying to get to every table. Washrooms are ok - equally as dark as the main room and not that tidy/modern. They had some nice outdoor seating but it was raining so we sat inside. Overall, I’d recommend going there for a casual brunch.

We enjoyed our food and drinks. I love the floor plan, tables are not too close to each other which allows for privacy. The elevated floor for the pizza corner is a nice touch, you can see the chef/baker/cook preparing your pizza to perfection. The vibe is happy but not noisy. Our host/server is graciously friendly.

This is a go to place for excellent food, cool atmosphere, and great cocktails. They have the best pistachio ice cream I have ever had. Tried many dishes and all were very good. I recommend going to the coffee shop portion as well, though do not order the London fog as they make it with sugar and not vanilla and it tastes pretty off from the standard london fog... Never had a problem with the service here and can usually be accommodated without a reservation. Note that service is somewhat slow in the bar so don't expect to drop by for a quick drink. Once I ordered something and saw the bartender stand around for 10 minutes then he later told me he was just going to start making my drink..?? Prices are fair for quality and quantity.

  • 5/5 Vanessa Y. 9 months ago on Google
Everything we order was so good! Especially the tomato sauce in the lobster ravioli! Skinless red pepper cube with rosé tomato sauce. Give it a try! Paella is good portion! We were sitting outside on the patio. I would definitely go back for sure! 2 people including cocktails, after tips is around $200.

We went for a work dinner, the ambiance was enjoyable, really liked how spacious it was inside. Good drink selection. Tried a bunch of appetizers, they were all great. The seafood linguine was just okay, it was a bit on the soggy side. Pizza was yummy.

  • 4/5 Kira N. 8 months ago on Google
The food was nice. The ambiance is fancy. The service was pleasant and professional; and they communicated well with each other. The restaurant has good training and floor team is a well oiled machine. Just that the space is big, our server just passed by from time to time, it prevented us from asking about the menu and ordering more. We had to ask a busser and another server to help us after not successfully getting attention from our server. We were impressed that our server got the message perfectly and followed through with it, we didn't have to repeat ourselves or things got messed up. We were disappointed on the drinks though. Our beer and cocktail were close to room temperature when brought to us, and they got "warm" very soon after that. Seemed like glasses were not chilled in advance, and/or our drinks had been waiting on the bar for a while.
