Let me start with the positive - beautiful room, clean, spacious, well-lit (with many options for lighting), lovely bathroom with heated floor, just all around quite classy and elegant. Comfortable bedding and pillows. Shuttle service was great with comfortable seats (with massage options) - all of this was wonderful. The one thing that put a really big damper on our experience was no hot water in the shower. We needed to be up early for our flight and the last thing you want at 430 am is a cold shower. We had hot water in the sinks but absolutely none in the shower in room 606 (Yes we did change the temp dial). The water would not even become warm never mind hot, it was consistently cold with 1-2 seconds of warm every minute or so. It was really unfortunate to spend a fair chunk of money and not be able to have a warm/hot shower. We brought it to the attention of the front desk gentleman at check out and he did apologize and mention he would put a note on the account but I’m really not sure what that accomplishes for us. I would have looked forward to staying at this property again were it not for the lack of hot water. EDIT Feb 28: I just wanted to mention - the Hotel replied below and said they’d reach out. There has been no communication from them regarding this review.

When our entire family travels to Vancouver, we always stay at the Versante Hotel. Never once have we been disappointed, and everything about our stays has been exceptional. We all truly enjoy the Versante Hotel. The location of the Versante Hotel is excellent, being very close to the airport, and there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. The staff at the Versante Hotel are all very welcoming and patient. Moreover, the facilities in the hotel rooms are well-equipped. Of course, what impressed us the most was the bathroom at the Versante Hotel—very clean, spacious, and greatly appreciated by my children.

This is a brand new hotel in Richmond, close to the airport. I've had two stays here and the experience was quite nice. I have top elite status with three hotel chains, so I usually stay with those chains for the elite benefits. I decided to give this hotel a try even though I would have no benefits here. The room was spacious, unique & stylish decor, and a convenient double sink bathroom with both bathtub and shower. The outdoor pool and whirlpool are very nice for Vancouver hotel standards. The only disappointment was that there's almost no flexibility for requesting later check out. Checkout is 12pm, and even just asking for 1pm I was told it would be half day charge. Overall, it's a good relaxing hotel option for Richmond.

Excellent bathrooms even by 5* standards. Rooms are beautifully decorated and good noise proofing. Comfy beds. Great service and staff. Needed a microwave, so I asked front desk and they sent a microwave to my room within minutes. The outdoor heated pool is nice with the jacuzzi as well. Overall it's very nice and quaint, making for a very comfortable stay in Vancouver.

This hotel was like a dream. My boyfriend booked this place for a weekend away and it was an experience like no other. The room had modern decor, a walk in shower, a huge tub, robes, slippers and more. It was such an adorable stay and we were treated with warmth and respect. Every girl should feel like a princess at least once in their lives and they made that happen. I was so excited that I made an ornament out of one of their coasters for our Christmas tree.

This was probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It doesn’t look like much from outside but it’s worth it! The staff was so nice and easy going. They helped us a lot. I also really like the room. The bathroom was beautiful with heated floors and the shower had these cool none slip tiles. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were high quality. Other bonuses include a button you can press to keep privacy instead of the old school door hang. There is nespresso in the room and free refills. Because it was our wedding, they gave us macrons and chocolates and think these were the best macrons I’ve had… seriously so flavorful and chewy. I would definitely come back and try out the restaurant which apparently is also really good.

Stayed at Versante before flying to Europe, and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the interior in general was nice, the room was very proper and clean and had a cool design. The view was great, the bathroom was practical, pretty and had a good Dyson hair dryer (which really is a big plus!!), and there was a Nespresso coffee machine. They have complimentary transfers to the airport which is great. Drinks in the bar were delicious. All in all, a very good experience and I will definitely be back! Thank you! :-)

I would like to start by thanking Versante Hotel for our room upgrade. It was a perfect end to our vacation. The hotel is very beautiful and extremely clean. Boutique style. Close to the airport. Excellent customer service. Very pleased and polite. Easy and quick check in and check out. Excellent shuttle service in a super comfortable 4 passenger van. The room was beautiful. Very big and extremely clean. Comfortable bed. Love the bathrobes, slippers and the magnifying bathroom mirror. It was a perfect overnight stay.

The hotel itself is amazing! The club has an incredible drink menu and the staff are clearly passionate about making drinks- its an art for them. Be wary of the menu though- not a lot of options and "beef tongue" anything is a solid no for me. The aesthetic is fun and the entire place smells amazing. Bathroom alone is worth the price, and the rooftop pool and hot tub aren't anything to turn your nose up at, either. My negative is going to be the location. It's in a little cluster of high-end hotels near the airport, but there's not really a lot to do right in the vicinity. Nowhere for smokers to sit. And apparently the mayor of Richmond is such a Karen that HE still insists cannabis is a dirty, dirty crime he won't allow in *his* city, despite cannabis being legal literally everywhere else. Which means you have to travel elsewhere just to get a pre-roll and then you have to hide it like you're in high school again. SO if that's not important you will love Versante, but if you're looking for fun and don't want to be judged for your vices, Richmond is not the right place.

Bruno restaurant food is amazing and does not disappoint. The service and food at Versante is excellent. Doesn’t matter if you are eating at the restaurant or having the food catered for your event, it’s top notch along with a personable service. I had the pleasure of working with Omer to bring to life a 3 day event at Versante Hotel. We had a specific vision, special request and requirements and a bunch of wish lists and he received every single one with positivity and a can- do attitude. The chief has amazing attention to details and has the ability to think of creative ways to infuse a vision and bring it out in what is served. Very happy and impressed!! Highly Recommend!

I love this hotel! This was my second stay at Versante, and I have been thoroughly impressed both times! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel - it is truly a special place! The staff were all very kind and helpful. Valet parking (or self-park) is a breeze. The rooms are well-appointed, very comfortable, and virtually spotless! Despite the proximity to the airport, I found the room to be VERY quiet - I was almost completely unaware of any air traffic or other guests. Room details very carefully considered, including a tidy and spotless coffee/tea area, full blackout shades, quiet HVAC, light-weight cotton blankets provided, very comfortable beds, and super clean bathroom. The rooftop pool and hot tub areas were very clean, peaceful, well-tended, and perfect temperature. This level of detail, cleanliness, and service is extremely rare to find at any hotel. I found the hotel to be excellent value! I will definitely go out of my way to stay at the Versante again any time I am in the area!!

Funky hotel, with super friendly staff and good food. Nice choice of dining options in the building. Rooms a great, big comfy bed and deep tub. Only negative is poor soundproof windows so you hear lot of outside noise, even on high floor

Great service, great location for those wanting to go to the Night Market or Casino, also very easy to get to! Only issue would be parking but easy enough to deal with! Would definitely recommend for a spectacular clean hotel with fantastic rooms!

Not much went well with our flights on this trip but My Oh My Versante dis not disappoint! Comfort is on the next level with high quality amenities. An ionic hair dryer in a hotel? What the what? And the bed was the most comfortable bed i have slept in. Way to go Westin!

Stayed here while my husband was in town for surgery and it did not disappoint. The room was fantastic, clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff....A+. The staff were absolutely amazing, helpful and truly made us feel like they wanted my husband and I to be as comfortable as possible while staying here. We called for ice multiple times a day (husband needed to ice after surgery) and they were so quick, kind and understanding. Absolutely nothing but great things to say. Only downside, if your a simple "palate" when it comes to food, the restaurant just doesn't offer that however there are plenty options in the neighborhood. Will 1000% be back if in the area again 😁

Stayed three nights here and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are very stylish, clean, and comfortable. The rooms give you control over the window tint, temperature and many different light settings. The bathtub with the wet room, rain shower and heated tile floors (which you also can control the temp of) were my favourite. The customer service was above and beyond, everything from preparing for check-in, promptness with room requests, valet and baggage handling, and room service. Because the hotel is not huge, it provides a nice level of home-y intimacy and where we never felt like we were battling for attention from the front desk. Even when we waited less than 2 mins to check in, they noticed and came right over with bottles of water. This place is all about the little details and touches that you would never think about but that make your stay great. Also, the airport shuttle had heated, reclining, massage chairs!? We will for sure come visit again in the future. Thank you Versante!

Incredibly professional, accommodating staff and service. Room felt very luxurious, got a great nights sleep, the soaking tub was amazing. The whiskey bar and restaurant were great experiences and will have me coming back even if not staying at the hotel! If you are staying the night due to a layover this is incredibly close the airport so you can get a good nights sleep and be well rested for your continued travels.

I just had a 7day stay here. Very impressed with the hotel. Cleanliness. Service. Amenities. In this post pandemic days where hotels are not staffing back up, this hotel truly stands out and deserves the 4.7 google rating. Definitely will stay there again next time I am in Vancouver.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The service is truly outstanding. I want to come back again for sure. Not only do the TVs have up to date tech. The rooms have such a nice design. I felt like all my problems just went away while I stayed at this hotel. More hotels should look to the Versante. As I believe this is the peak of any hotel.

This hotel is FANTASTIC! From the unique wallpaper to double sink washrooms and contemporary furniture, this boutique hotel is eclectic and original. The rooms are more expensive than some other places, but it’s well worth it! We had a fabulous stay and the staff were friendly and patient with us at any given time of the day - especially the valet. The hotel manager, Johnny, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We had such a fantastic stay and the heated pool was the cherry on top. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our family and friends when they’re in town!

Spectacular service! Role model for what great service should be! My check-in experience with Jonathan at the hotel was truly the best I’ve ever had. He was amazing and incredibly kind, making us feel comfortable and welcome. Before our arrival in Vancouver, Jonathan even called to ask if we needed anything. The hospitality at this beautiful hotel is top-notch, from the front desk to the restaurant, the manager, and valet parking services. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. Our room was elegant and beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a super clean bathroom. The restaurant had excellent food, and our server, Daniel, exceeded our expectations. He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vancouver.

I visited for the second time. It's small, but all the staff are really friendly. There are also staff who speak Korean! The interior of the room and bathroom is nice, and the quality of the fixtures is all excellent. Although it was outdoor, the heated pool was also very nice and secluded.

I got a hotel voucher from airport so can't complained. Amazing room, gym, and pool. Enjoyed my stay. Front desk was very helpful to accommodate my early flight the next morning with a shuttle bus driver that worked outside their business hours. Shout-out to the hotel !

Game changer in Richmond - when a City grows up, places like this open up. Welcome to what has to be Richmond’s newest and best restaurant that brings the vibe and fun of Vancouver’s best to Richmond. We ate at “Bruno” during their soft opening and the meal was spectacular. The pork belly, wagu steak, halibut, truffle potatoes and sprouts are all fantastic and highly recommended.

This is my goto hotel when I am in Vancouver. Located centrally off hwy 99 gives quick access into Vancouver and Richmond. The rooms are roomy and well equipped. They have a modern flair and the bathrooms are a highlight for myself. I always enjoy my stays here and the staff is always great to deal with.

I'm delighted to share about our fantastic experience at Versante Hotel in Richmond! The holiday party was truly memorable, thanks to the superb food, captivating atmosphere, and the unique charm of the three venues within the hotel. A special shout-out to Omer for his professionalism, patience, and care, which added an extra layer of excellence to our party.

Had a fantastic stay at Versante again! Can't say enough about this fresh, exciting place. Wonderful staff, who actually care and are eager to help in any way. I live on "the island" and often have to stay overnight in order to catch an early flight. This is my new go to hotel. What was once a tedious stay is now a great start to my holidays! Thank you Versante!

Rooms & bathrooms are as nice as the pics make it out to be. Front desk is efficient, but there was a shortage of towels at the pool (no one made sure they were stocked), & even though we left the light asking for the room to be cleaned on virtually all day when we returned in the late afternoon, it was not made up. Lastly the location while beneficial for going straight to the airport is well away from all other amenities & is not close to a Skytrain station with busy traffic around. On a positive note if you want to attend the Richmond Night Market, it is right next door.

Very nice, clean and quiet hotel. Excellent rooms. Very close to the airport. Very nice restaurant with excellent food. Really nice nail salon in the same building and tai massage SPA next door. Very comfortable shuttle to the airport.

We had two bad experiences regarding the valet parking ,on the same day. 1. We notified the front desk at 7:05 am that we would need the car at 7:30 am, When we came down at 7:25 am, there was no attendant at the valet counter. Even there was no one available at the front desk to assist us…… we didn’t get the car till 7:50am 2. When we came back to the hotel after lunch, we advise the valet parking attendant that we would need the car in 1.5 hours ….. so just leave it in the front parking space However, when we picked up the car  in 1.5 hours, the car was not there in the front. Someone had put it in the garage. Once again, the front desk could not find the car key as well as there was no valet parking attendant available to assist. We waited for about 20 min before we got the car There is no safety deposit in the room The lobby / check in area is quite small….. you would feel crowded even with 10 people waiting around Lobby There is no washroom in the lobby area ….. you need to go up to the second floor May be, it was the house keeping oversight. There was only 1 bottle water in the room Only one of the night tables has the power outlet The hotel is only a short 10 minutes drive from the Vancouver International Airport It gives you a pleasant warm welcoming atmosphere once you step into the room The room size is quite spacious for two adults; the bed , the  pillow are comfortable ….. feels like home The bathroom again is spacious with all the amenities . The shower / bath area and the toilet area are separated with glass door Dyson hair dryer The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful from the reception desk , valet parking to restaurant service….. The hotel is located about a 2 minutes walk to the weekend night market We stayed for 4 nights (July 26-30) with the average daily rate of $ 411 ( tax and parking on top )

The hotel's location is convenient as it is close to the Bridgeport Station as well as the airport. The hotel is well kept and with minor issues. I stayed in a Superior King room and it was a result of a complementary upgrade by the hotel, which I appreciate. The room was beautiful and clean, while the minor issue was that electrical wires/extension cords were exposed, which diminished the aesthetic of the room. In addition, the television didn't function well as it kept on interrupt the program while watching it. The bed was softer than most high-end hotels. Besides these minor issues, the overall stay was comfortable. The major upgrade that the hotel need is its staff or the level of the service. Versante is advertised as a boutique hotel and a five-star hotel. However, the service that I encountered was no better than a three-star hotel. Many of details were ignored by the hotel staff and it was the most disappointing part of my three nights stay.

One night stop, but I will return! Great service from all staff! Room was lovely. Great design and detail. Luxury at a good price. Bruno's food amazing. After a long flight, perfect spot for a swim, dinner and sleep.

We were treated to a room by Air Canada due to a missed connection. What could have been a disappointing experience was turned into a great one with this hotel. They offered free airport pickup and drop off. The hotel is immaculate with a restaurant, gym, pool, and exceptional customer service. The room is beyond what we expected and the bathroom was incredible. Even the coffee (Nespresso) was delicious. It's close to the sky train so we could commute quite easily. Overall, a great experience.

If you have cause to be in Richmond (airport, night market, whatever!) this is a great alternative to the bland airport hotels on offer. Versante is a boutique hotel with great service, upscale rooms and decor... and truly amazing spa-like bathrooms in each room. Parking is pricy but the rooms are reasonable, so maybe it evens out! North side is quietest and offers stellar views towards downtown Vancouver and the mountains beyond.

I came across this new hotel by the Vancouver airport a while ago and kept it on my list for the next time I'm around. I finally got to stay here and I can't wait to come back! The interiors and details are so beautiful. The branding and design, from the Bruno restaurant to the pool deck offering an amazing sunset view + watching planes landing to the room - the stay was amazing from start to finish. The staff is super friendly, professional and ensures you have a great time. The complimentary shuttle service is a bonus which made my stay hassle-free. I also loved the rooms. The bed was comfy. I got the Superior King room. The details in the room was also nice. I loved the bathtub, which allowed me to relax after a long day and especially loved the heated floors and the amount of options for lights in the room! Another bonus? Complimentary snacks ! I'm so glad to be among one of the first few guests to be staying here and I've added it to my list of places to stay whenever I'm in Vancouver and need a hotel near the airport. I thought I'd hear the sounds of planes nearby, but I didn't hear a thing - instead found I slept in without realizing it and had a peaceful sleep!

Beautiful hotel! My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. We particularly liked that there were 2 toilets! The service was good, the rooms were up to date, the decoration was funky but cute. The only downside was the fact that we needed to pay parking (either self park or valet) every single night for our rental car but it seems like in Vancouver it is like that in most places.

  • 5/5 Keiko N. 1 year ago on Google
Service was amazing! Every staff greets the customers and when we had an issue they came right away to fix. We also had some questions and they took care of us very well. Pleasant staff. Lastly I forgot my passport in the drawer and realized when I got to the airport! I called the hotel and the front desk called me immediately back to let me know they are sending a driver to the airport to give me my passport ! They were soooo gracious and I had. I cash tips to give them but with a smile they said it’s not important to them and wished me a safe trip back!!

This is a newly built hotel with all the modern technology. I was very impressed with number of charging outlets available inside the room. You can control everything in the room with remote, even the degree of darkness of tinted windows! The staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. This hotel does not have ice machine on the floor but if you request one, one of the staff members can delivered to your room upon request.

As my first visit to Vancouver and my first hotel of the trip, I was very pleased with the Versante Hotel. Anthony picked me up from the airport in the courtesy shuttle that had massaging seats! That made me even more relaxed before arriving at the hotel. Nini at the front desk gave me a complimentary upgrade to a corner king suite and I loved every part of it! I liked that the bedroom was situated between the living room and bathroom. 4oz toiletries, complimentary snacks in the fridge, microwave, Smart TV to control lights and the A/C and the stand-alone tub were marvelous. I felt like I was in a chic colorful apartment that I didn't want to leave! I had dinner at Bruno which was delicious as well. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Richmond.

I booked on a whim, got a great deal. We just needed somewhere to sleep by the airport. The room exceeded our expectations. So many nice touches in the room… nothing was cheaped out on. And the bath tub was perfect.. and the bath salts that were included were such a nice treat. Perfect hotel to calm you before or after your trip. Also the hotel staff was so helpful! Not one thing to complain about.

It is astonishing how I have not made an attempt to live in this hotel before. This is an amazing place to stay lovely views and just a stone throw away from Bridgeport station. This hotel is very posh and the staff is really friendly and hospitable. If you wish to enjoy a great stay with a lovely view and room, this is the place to be. They have parking in the lower levels, they kinda get full pretty fast. They also have the restaurant at the lobby.

I had a great time here! Firstly I got a room which was little different from the layout I booked online, so I called the receptionist and asked for the exact layout room I booked for. They immediately fulfilled our request in a polite manner and moved us to a room we asked for! That was so nice of them. And everything was very clean and well maintained, great ambiance! They even have a large public washrooms, very helpful for the people checking out and in.

Seamless stay! Check in very easy. Awesome accommodating staff. Really connect with their guests in all areas (Front desk, valet, restaurant) The room was absolutely fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom is gorgeous. Heated floors, amazing tub, and the dyson hair dryer was a nice touch. Pool is very nice, and the hot tub was super relaxing. Close to airport. Walking distance to casino, sky train. Restaurant was fantastic, staff was very interactive and were obviously well coordinated with each other to provide great personable service. It’s a new hotel with a lot of love to give. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again.

What a gem. Stayed in many hotels in Vancouver and this hotel tops the best. Rooms are very modern, bedding is high quality, squeaky clean bathrooms, beautiful bathtub with a view, and heated floors for that extra touch. No expense spared in the design of the rooms. Doesn’t hurt that everything is new. Offered cold refreshments during check in and check out. Gave us complimentary valet parking, but standard parking is $19/day. Fully deserving of a 5 star review.

To keep it short, my flight along with my friends got cancelled. We were looking for a last minute hotel, and luckily chanced upon Versante. I have never been so skeptical about a place due to the lack of reviews until I stepped into the hotel itself. From the amazing and extremely kind front desk, bar, the restaurant Bruno. and the amenities provided, you cannot go wrong with choosing this spot. My friend celebrated her birthday in the restaurant, with the food being amazing and the bar creating a cocktail just for her that was exceptional. The rooms themselves, are beautiful and well-decorated, simple and extremely clean. They even provided a free ride back to the airport at a time that worked well with my entire group, and were super accommodating to our needs. From hiking for a whole week and constantly being on the move, this hotel was a much-needed rest for the night. Will be recommending every one of my friends to come through, and if I ever do come back to Vancouver, I'll be here.

I enjoyed every moment of my anniversary staycation at Versante Hotel last week with my wife. To start, staff at the lobby and front desk warmly welcomed us. We were surrounded by colorful design throughout lobby and guest rooms. Rooms were very clean, pet amenities was very thoughtful, nice view in the room, beds and even bathrobes was had a comfort touch. Food at Bruno was just phenomenal with excellent service! Will definitely recommend friends and family to experience.

Definitely five star!!! One of the best city-type hotels I have stayed. Beautiful room, bath had great views, gorgeous pool and jacuzzi. Everything was brand new with state-of the art amenities. My children enjoyed swimming and watching the airplanes go by. The staff was exceptional. Especially Matt, thank you so much for loading and unloading my luggage and helping me out throughout the stay. The front desk also helped me print out documents necessary for international travel and I am very thankful.
