Booked a room before a flight. 2min walk to departures is perfect. Check in was swift and very polite. Rooms clean and amazing comfy bed. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. The 2 ladies serving, Katie & Tracy were fun polite and definitely went the extra mile. Thank you for the milk.xx After learning of a flight delay reception gave us complimentary time in our room. Lovely hotel room, clean and very comfortable bed. No complaints on the stay but for anyone expecting to use the gym you have to sign a form at the reception so your key will give you access to the room. The "gym" is four machines. One is similar to a stationary bike plus 3 weighted machines. No treadmill or free weights which was disappointing.

Really impressed. Great staff, excellent room, usual amenities but with a large screen TV and a shower over bath. Comfy bed. Pleasant bar area with food available and a separate restraunt. Reasonably priced and a very pleasant to start our holiday! Only a couple of minutes walk to to the airport

Hotel was nice and clean and we were welcomed. Customer service was top notch. Pedro at the restaurant was real professional and met our specific meal needs. Better than expected and would love to stay there again.

Service was extremely welcoming! The hotel is next to the airport. Our flight has been canceled, so we were booked to this hotel free of charge. Nice bar with drinks from all around the world. Restaurant is good, not great. Rooms are well equipped and well noise insulated.

You can easily walk from 'Arrivals' to the hotel. Comfortable rooms and excellent service at breakfast time. The hotel must be soundproofed as I heard very little aircraft noise. Would go again!

the bar staff (dharesh) were great, so friendly, good conversation and polite whilst remaining professional, very clean and well kept - top service. it was really late too and there were no signs of being tired or wanting to finish, not a complaint, just a pleasure

Hotel in the perfect location for our overnight before an early morning flight, what we weren't expecting was the service from the bar staff! - after a long day's travelling Brandon and Rakesh really picked up our day, genuine friendly chat and awesome service all evening really kicked off our holiday in the most amazing way - can't thank them enough.

In my stay in the hotel, I arrived to the restaurant after closure time but the hotel bar staff called Rakesh kept following up and on my service and doing his best to bring me a meal using all the resources possible and the options possible to get a meal made for me. He showed exceptional and much appreciated efforts and hard work. I haven’t seen a staff like him in a long time.

Had my flight cancelled and decided to stay overnight to catch the first flight in the morning. The location is great, just opposite the airport, 1 minute walking. Rooms are spacious, clean and elegant. Had a meal at the restaurant. The food was great, really tasty. A big thank you to Maria at the restaurant, who made this dinner experience really nice and relaxing with her attention to details.

Great location, only a couple of minutes walk from the airport. Nicely decorated for a business hotel and room contains everything you need. Staff are friendly and efficient. Only issue was my room was located near an elevator which I could hear all night long.

Very convenient airport hotel to stay. Very close to the bus stop, easy to hop on to city. Hotel has live sports and very nice social area and bar. Staffs are very helpful and friendly, Special compliment to Dharmesh, he such a hard working person, during busy timing at the bar he always smile and have positive gesture toward the guests. Staying here on business trip. Love the bar downstairs. Pedro was very king and helpful. I enjoyed my drink while chatting with him. I also overheard him talking to the customers sitting next to me. He took time and explained them something about whiskey that they were curious about even they said in advance that they don't want to have that drink. Since I was tired and hungry and wanted to go to my room, he offered to order room service for me so I can have my food as soon I reach my room. Thank you Pedro.

Travelled by train for concert at Resorts World Arena. Hotel walking distance from train station & Arena/NEC with short free monorail to airport. Area felt safe when returning to hotel late after concert. Room great. Reception staff helpful. Would stay again for events or when needing to catch a flight from Birmingham as location great for both. Would recommend.

The hotel was lovely. The staff totally made our experience special, friendly, welcoming, professional. We were welcomed warmly at reception. Brandon looked after us really well in the bar. Attended to our every need around good and drink. He was so kind and he interacted with us amazingly. Thank you.

Given a room next to the cleaners service lift. I had my do not disturb on the door but it was still very noisy around that area and kept me awake. Having said that the bed was comfortable and the shower very good. Came down for food at the bar and the server (Rakesh) was extremely helpful and gave me a complimentary drink as I had to wait (only a few minutes) for someone to come to the bar to serve me. The food was tasty and came very quickly.

Really good experience using this hotel. Very clean, organised and well managed, and unusually these days plenty of staff so no waiting at any time. Big shout out to Pedro & the rest of the team in the restaurant, lovely food and service. One possible improvement, although I suspect this is down to the airport management? The lighting on the stairs & ramp from the terminal is inadequate, if not dangerous? Really needs to be improved.

The reception staff were so lovely on check in, the bar staff were just not attentive im afraid. It really let the rest of the hotel down. The room was comfy enough with everything needed for a night's stay and the communal areas were very nicely decorated and clean.

Just had a delicious gluten free dinner and pleasant experience with Huzaifa, my waiter for the night. Welcomed me with the most wonderful smile and made sure I was looked after the entire time. What a great experience. Keep up the great work!

Proximity to airport and parking is very good. Food in the restaurant was nice. Service in the restaurant was attentive from the restaurant manager and the staff however some points could be improved upon l. Table was not very clean, empty glasses could have been cleared quicker when fresh drinks were delivered to the table. The hand sanitiser at the entrance didn’t work. Some staff on their mobile phones. Would still revisit but a little bit if staff training wouldn’t go amiss.

Our host Pedro in the restaurant was super attentive and nice during the whole dining experience. He helped us to chose dishes (I had fish&chips and calamari as starters). And also he brought everything on time, meal was tasty. Something special to add: Pedro is funny and made us laugh a lot. This made our evening great!

We stayed here just before Christmas before our early morning flight. Staff were very friendly and attentive and were very keen to help however they could. I was actually taken aback at how helpful they were! We had a pizza and a drink in the bar before bed which was a nice area to chill out in as well. You’re then literally 20 metres and across a road to the terminal to check in. Highly recommended.

Had some amazing drinks with friends at the hotel bar. Dilhan was one of the nicest people we could have met, staying in conversation with us and making sure we had a good stay. Hope to come back and find him!

Stayed in Novotel at Birmingham airport on Tues 3 Jan- I arrived late so restaurant was closed & bar about to close. Very friendly greeting from reception when checking in. The guy working at the bar also very friendly & served me with a smile even though he was about to finish his shift & I was the last person at the bar. Room clean & very comfortable. Overall very satisfied with my stay & would recommend highly to others who needed somewhere near airport when travelling late at night.

Wanted to take some time to appreciate the excellent staff in this hotel. It was my first time and felt a lot more comfortable. And special thanks to the lovely lady Udara at the reception for making my stay memorable. The Room was spotless. I loved the restaurant ambiance and breakfast was amazing as well. Can’t wait to go back.

We had dinner in the restaurant and the staff were so attentive. With a special mention for Maria who looked after us so well. From the greeting at the front door to the we felt valued as visitors. I will come back soon! Many thanks for the excellent service.

I really had an enjoyable stay at Novotel Birmingham Airport Hotel and it was my first time staying there. I would like to mention Gabbi as one of the staff in the hotel that makes my stay even more comfortable by delivering the best service that I could ever imagine. She was very attentive and helpful during my stay, she helped me a couple times for my room service orders and I like the way how she interacts with the customers, not only over the phone but also in person, and she also makes sure that everything is well taken care of.

Staff are very polite and helpful. The decor is moody bit welcoming. The locations is amazing if you have just landed or are take a flight ✈️ prices are reasonable considering you're a hop away from the airport

Convenient location, nice rooms but the service in the bar/restaurant was very slow. After a very large queue had formed and no bar staff to be seen after 10 mins of waiting I went on the hunt to find all staff in a team meeting in the other restaurant on site. Once I asked for service they quickly come over though. Drinks and food were very very expensive for what we got. I'd stay there again due to the location when going on holiday however I wouldn't eat there again.

Brilliant location...just across from the terminal. Very modern decor but has some atmosphere. Excellent staff. Stayed there the night before flight for a holiday. A good way to start a vacation.

One night stop before a very early flight. Mostly very clean rooms but it did have a long dark hair in the bath that was not one of ours and one of the towels was a bit stained so we didn't use it. Lobby and restaurant looked lovely. Good choice for a quick stop over

The hotel is perfect for those visiting the NEC or needing the airport and the facilities, food and rooms are great. The reason I can’t leave a five star review this time is because the hotel was ridiculously short staffed. We were unable to check in until after 8pm (check in was meant to be from 3pm), the wait at the bar was long and although we had paid for rooms already via our company, they demanded we pay again! However, we were refunded the following day, and the limited number of staff who were there, were trying their best. Katya in particular was super helpful and provided exceptional customer service.
