Visited Hickory’s smokehouse today & wasn’t disappointed! Excellent service, food was unbelievably delicious & so tasty. All round great experience. Defo be returning very soon. Thank you 👍🏻

Great place for a lovely meal out! Popcorn & water served while you decide on what your having. Cinema room for the kids whilst you wait for food, so its family friendly. Good price for good quality food. One of our favorite places for a special celebration. Corndogs are amazing and the chicken strips on sticks starter are the best I've had ! Downside, always find you wait a while to pay once you have finished. Other than that a must try !

The smokehouse platter is fantastic, lovely selection of smoked meats, brisket is utterly delightful. The burnt ends are not proper burnt ends but chunks of beef in batter, they are very tasty but definitely not burnt ends! The frickles are lovely as a starter. Pulled pork is very tasty Wings are great Sausage is awesome Ribs fall off the bone 🦴 Very good staff, having ran 5 pubs and restaurants I’d say they are slightly understaffed as occasionally there’s a bit of a wait for service, not the staffs fault though, they work hard. The Malbec is a cracking red. Now the reason we have it 4 star not 5, the ladies toilet has 4 cubicle’s, 2 out of order, 1 with no seat, so 1 toilet for a place this size is unacceptable! Get a plumber called out immediately, send a staff member to go and buy a toilet seat and fit it! As manager I’d have done it myself if needed, for such a great place, no excuses can be had for this

Delicious barbecue food and lovely, attentive staff. Lots of great offers throughout the week, and a quiz on Thursdays that looks like good fun. Ribs are a real highlight from the menu. Sorry to say their wings could be crispier, although maybe that's not what they're going for.

An enjoyable experience, I’ve been waiting for ten years to visit a smoke house. The venue has plenty of parking and I was welcomed immediately. The bar and welcoming staff are on point, things fell apart for table service. Expect a busy environment and lots of hype with staff stressed and concerned with how long they wait tables. The food was ok but nothing you couldn’t reproduce at home. Majorly disappointed in reflection to how excited i was to visit Hickory’s.

Disappointed! Meat -dry- bland very tasteless. Meat lacked any real taste. Cold meats and warm fries. Looked better than it tasted. Staff friendly, the furnishings and decoration of the rooms were nice tried to set the scene of a smoke house but a let down with the food.

This was the third time I'd been here in the last couple of months and I cannot get enough of this restaurant, from the exceptional customer service to the amazing food and the cute little cinema to keep the kids occupied whilst mummy's have a cocktail or two!! I love this place and the portion sizes for the food ate amazing too!! Great value for money!! Booking my 4th visit soon!! We can't wait!!

Hickory's is excellent. A great atmosphere with first class service from really helpful friendly staff. The food is superb, plentiful portions and so tasty.

Amazing food! There were 8 of us in total so we had booked a table in advance. The food is really good and the staff work really hard to maintain customer satisfaction. I always worry when we're in a group that something will go wrong but it all went really smoothly. Would recommend.

Delicious! From start to finish I really enjoyed my experience. The wings were delicious, fresh, and very tasty. The staff were lovely and the cocktails nice and strong . Lots of flavours coming from the food, great presentation too! My pnly criticism is the car park area. It's almost pitch black around the restaurant and could benefit from some more sufficient outdoor lighting around both sides of the car park

We were booked in for 4pm but got there 330pm and the lady took us to our table saying if you want to your table's free. Loved the look of the place and the newspaper style menus. We ordered 3 milkshakes Buenos, triple chocolate and maple and pecan. Absolutely fantastic! We ordered a £55 platter for 2 for my 2 sons in their 20's and bbq pulled pork and black bean with coleslaw and skin on fries. Well worth it everyone was full well nearly my sons had frozen custard and lemon meurigne. I had cappuccino which was lovely. Was very happy with the place as a whole will defo take other friends there 😊

Although for the Food, Service and Atmosphere I gave 5 stars at my overall opinion I will give 4. I will explain later why. First I will say that I was amazed with the service, atmosphere was great, I liked the music that was played. Customer care fantastic! The Food... I am lack of words to describe how good it was! I tried my first medium well steak and I was not disappointed... Congrats to the Chef!!! Very very good job! However there was one thing that was not nice... I booked a table online for 2 people at specific time. When we got there on time (we weren't late) it comes out that we still had to wait for a table like 20 minutes... That was weird because I thought that when you reserve a table it should be waiting for you reserved... But I hope that next time it will be ok when we will want to come again😉

The menu was very big, so we did indeed order a lot!😂 Which we are so glad we did. Food was to die for! So tasty and loved the presentation of it all. Cant recommend enough!!!!

We came here for my boyfriend's birthday. We normally go to a different Hickories but due to being fully booked we ventured here. It was lovely food and probably more preferred to our usual place food wise. Nice staff, would happily return.

Great food for meat lovers! Monday - Thursday deals for 12£. Don't forget about shakes and awesome desserts. American and NFL theme interior. Large parking, easy access to M6.

Food was lovely went mid week as they do deals Monday to Thursday which worked out cheaper a lot more meat for the money and the IPA beer was lovely also. As you can see from the photos it was a hearty meal

Beef brisket 🌮 were banging 😋...beef rib was outstanding...took me back to Texas....cocktails with good friends... Atmosphere was electric with the band in the background... much needed night out with the wife as we lead busy lives... Great job, guys...will defo be back soon 👍

Really great food and service. We got the platter and enjoyed everything! The pickles in batter were new to me but I loved them! Also loved that you get free popcorn to start with. Very unique!

After visiting Hickory's in Chester last year and thoroughly enjoying it, we decided to check out our local location. We opted for… - Southern Fried Chicken - Barbecue Hand Pulled Pork - Half A Smoke Hickory Chicken - Cookies & Cream Waffle The Southern Fried Chicken Strips we started off with were so good, I forgot to take a photo. The strips had a similar taste to the boneless banquet strips from KFC. The pulled pork was to die for, and so filling. It was mixed with beans which I didn't think I would like, but surprisingly they tasted incredible together. The half of chicken was cooked so well. It was really yummy, and the house BBQ added so much flavor. The waffle dessert we enjoyed, but mainly the toppings as the waffle itself wasn’t really what we prefer taste and texture wise. Hickory's is a place we will always recommend because the food is consistently great and never disappoints.

Our family is from Texas & Georgia. We enjoyed every part of our meals, down to the s’mores, brisket, sauce, and movie theatre. Also the popcorn appetizer and corndogs were amazing! Thanks for a wonderful time today, we will be back and our friends will be coming too!

Food was great but service was awful, long wait for drinks at start, long wait for starters then it felt like they were rushing us out... it wasn't very busy.

Second time here, first was for a Christmas get-together with friends from work, this time it was just my girlfriend and I. Both times the place was very busy - showing how popular it is - the earliest we could book a table was 1415. Food is very good - huge amount of choice, and the same with the drinks menu, they even have a Hickory's ale which is good. First time here a mate and I shared the Hickory's Platter, as we couldn't decide what to have - so we had a bit of everything! I can highly recommended it. This time I went for the brisket and added a side of BBQ Pit Beans - definitely worth adding. The brisket was very tasty, as was the gravy that came with - my girlfriend couldn't stop dipping her chips in it! She had gone for the chicken burger, which is a massive double-decker affair with all the trimmings. She couldn't manage it all, but said it was excellent. We hem shared a dessert of the Mississippi Mud Pie, and very glad we share too - it is enormous! Highly recommend Hickory's, booking would appear to be a must, and we will be vack soon.

The service and drinks was amazing. However the food was not. Quite pricey for food that lacled flavour. Ive had the same type of pork ribs at a ember inns pub and it was far tastier and cheaper. Although it was a smokehouse there was no smokey flavour. Really disappointed to be honest

Incredible place! My new favourite. The atmosphere and decor is great, cocktails were fantastic and food was awesome. The brisket was beautiful, my American friend can confirm but the corn dogs were not so American (In size that is- he laughed and called them 'Gourmet'. 🤣 tasted amazing though) The staff were OK but could be way more attentive. I didn't really feel the service was that good. We didn't have a knife for example for over half the meal and it was the misses' birthday but we just got a plaque and that was it really. Had we had been given better service I probably would of spent twice the amount on food and drink, perhaps also staying for dessert. Also, the doors outside are really badly placed and there was a huge draft everytime someone left (we were sitting in the circus tent type space). Not ideal especially in the winter. The price was great too though and I'll definitely give it another shot for sure but hopefully the service was just a one time thing!
