I know it's only MacDonald's but standards aren't great here. Ordering on the drive through was difficult, staff member failing to understand a basic order responding with 'urr', and 'what?' When we got to the payment window, there was clearly a sign on the door behind the attendant which said one staff member only, but there was two in there, and realised why the first was failing to follow my order as clearly distracted. No idea what the attendant said to me behind a mask and the perspex screen. The staff member at the second window however was very friendly, big smile and efficient.

It's with genuine regret and disappointment that I pen down this review. My visit to McDonald's on Monday August 7, 2023 around 10:30 pm left a bitter taste, and it wasn't because of the food. My trust in this esteemed brand has been shaken by an experience that reeked of discriminatory behavior. From the outset, the order-taking process felt skewed. After selecting the right lane on the driveway, we patiently waited our turn. But something seemed amiss. Despite our lane being clear, the employee on the till kept processing orders from the left lane, bypassing us completely. His explanation was that the till software was being updated. Accepting this at face value, we patiently waited. However, as minutes ticked by and several cars from the other side were served, the situation became increasingly questionable. Feeling a bit sidelined, we decided to take a proactive approach by reversing into the left lane, hoping for better service. But alas, the same employee seemed intent on ignoring us, offering the excuse that now the left-side till software was updating. The inconsistency in his statements and actions left us feeling unfairly treated. Whether it was a genuine system issue or a reflection of prejudiced behavior, the experience was undeniably unpleasant. For a brand that stands tall on the global stage, priding itself on customer service and inclusivity, this particular outlet left us disillusioned. I hope that this incident is an isolated one, and that McDonald's addresses such issues promptly to ensure that all customers, regardless of background or appearance, are treated with the respect and efficiency they deserve.

Used the drive through which was very slow although not that busy. When I got home the 2 happy meals only had half the stuff in, I had the chicken nuggets and 1 only had chips. This is not the first time this has happened. I had to ask twice for sauces. The people serving the food was too busy laughing and messing about. Very poor service.

Food from this McDonald's is always under cooked not sue why. I had bad cramps twice from eating food from here. So I would rather use Olton McDonald's on Warwick Rd as the food s always fresh from there.

I am absolutely appalled by what has just entered my mouth, why have you not cleaned your grills where you cook your patty’s because my burger has this awful gooey gunk in it(burnt fat) and I’ve eaten that and threw it up so I want a refund !

Popped in to fetch a breakfast and found the drive-through reasonably busy and the store to be quiet. Our order was completed correctly, really quickly, and was nice and hot. This store is slightly further from home but miles better than our nearest one.

Ordered a deluxe hot chocolate via the app to be brought out to my car as I’m on a long journey, only to find out they didn’t put the whipped cream on it. Already left so no point in turning back now. The hot chocolate is quite tasteless without it so bit of a waste.

Piled in here at 11pm last night after a weird evening at the office. Expected cold nuggets and tired fries but was rewarded with a really nice EVM. Nothing sucks like a cold MaccyDs after a bad day but happily we drove off with smiling faces.

23.45pm. Doors open, all self service screens out of service so stand at the counter waiting to order, several staff looked over, waited some more and then suddenly rudely told its drive through only. Didn't bother and going elsewhere. Most McDonald's have gone down hill and this one can be added to the avoid list!

Good fast food chain, never seems too busy and always served quickly.

I've never been disappointed here. Food is hot and fresh and service is quick. Order on app and have it delivered to a car parking space for extra convenience. Toilets were clean and well maintained. 90 minute limit on car park and no return within 60 minutes.

The food and service were as you'd expect in any other McDonald's. The thing that let the branch down was the toilets. They were nasty! One of the two urinal was blocked, urine all over the floor. No handwash at the sinks and no alcohol gel. Staff promised it would be sorted but wasn't hanging around to find out.

Very good fast food restaurant near Shirley. This has very good parking space, charging stations for EV and a drive through. The staffs are very active. Good number of seats inside for dine in. Clean environment.

Visited the restaurant yesterday and all 4 of my family has upset stomachs since. The food was very quick to come out, the chips were very anemic and floppy. We only went there to feed the kids as the car broke down. We certainly wouldn’t go back again if it was by choice.

Nice food and quick service. Just beware you only get 1 hour 30 min in car park. Me and my friends ordered food and didn’t realise the time we all ended up with fines from a different car parking company

It says 24 hours but that's only the drive through. We needed to charge the car and thought this would be a good place to do that and sit and recharge ourselves. Sadly not. We sat in the car in the charging space. The litter in the car park was dreadful. Won't go to this one again unless I'm desperate.

Best McDonald's I've ever been to in England, so sophisticated and still has those amazing kids playgrounds which is a big deal. It was really clean also, the standard is really higher than most McDonald's around.

A few weeks ago we ate in five guys in new street station. It was shocking, low level fast food at gourmet restaurant prices. We walked into the McDonald's here and commented it was far more upmarket than five guys! This was really nice for a McDonald's, we were pleasantly surprised. We were flying through on a trip down south and stopped for a quick toilet stop and hash brown snack. Food was piping hot, toilets were clean and it was all in all a good pit stop!

I am absolutely appalled, every time I come here the service isn’t great and something from my order is always missing and the food is cold. Hoping one day my order will come warm and everything together without me having to go back in every time. So if you come here make sure to check your order before you leave

Chips were manky, 2 portions. When I took them back I saw maybe 30 portions sitting under the heat lamp, obviously there is no set rotation. It was a busy cafe but there should be no excuse for this. There were swapped without question and made me wonder how many more had been returned. There was no apology just a replacement. The burgers were good leading to a reasonable score

McDonald's consistently delivers quick service and familiar flavors. The staff is efficient, and the food is reliably satisfying. Great for a convenient and tasty meal on the go.

Ordered food on the App, and chose the Drive Through to collect it. Unable to work out what we ordered even though they could see our name from the order number. Made us feel as we had done something wrong due to the inability of the staff member and shift lead to work it out, leading to a huge queue in the drive through.

We had breakfast here. The food was good and wasn't greasy like we have experienced at other McDonalds.

We showed up in a rainy weekday while driving past (in the middle of the lunch hour) and went through the drive through. It was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't a bad experience! Drive through layout is not too tight to get round in a bigger car (like some of them!), they have the dual ordering stations to help get more people served. Both food receiving windows were open, staffed and seemed efficient. Food was ready and made waiting for us between ordering and paying, which was fantastic as we then didn't have to wait. People seemed to be sent to the waiting bays early rather than blocking the food windows for significant amounts of time. Store looked well kept, staff were polite and friendly. Food was hot and ready to go. As far as McDonald's goes on a weekday for a quick lunch-on-the-run, this was really good!

The manager here is amazing. My app crashed and she was able to find my order. Restaurant is always really clean.

So many delivery people in the place it's like being in a taxi rank. Also meant it took ages to get the food. When I got it the fries were just about warm. Won't be visiting again.

Ordered breakfast today which all was stone cold. Received burnt pancakes & sausage. The egg in my breakfast roll was full of egg shell. The only decent thing I received was the bottle of tropicana orange juice. £20 on breakfast and all of it uneatable. If I could give it 0 stars I would do. Really gone down hill. Not impressed.

Late opening means sale left over food, than go to this Macdonald. Waste place ever. Ordered 5 meals received 4. All cold and fries old, left over yesterday its seemed. Not way they open late if they can't have the service or food. SHAME ON YOU MCDONALDS.

McDonald's is McDonald's really, but this one is clean and fairly well run. Busy but usually gets the orders right. Hottest day of the year so we were mostly there for the air-conditioning.

Last 3 times I've been in for breakfast I've had single bacon and egg wrapped up in double packing just give people what they pay for cant come back and return as I'm off to work and who is going to believe you down the phone but it's not rocket science

Drive though was big enough to drive my defender through , order taken promptly, recieved food quickly was piping hot. I ordered no salad on a few items , they got everything correct which is a rare occasion for macdonalds lately

I prefer to give good reviews but this experience was so bad…The food was only half cooked. The staff didn't appear to care. Just awful ! We’ll stick to their much better competitors in future…

Good car park, plenty of spaces but keep driving round towards the exit to find more. Food was fairly quick to come, staff service was pretty poor, just slid me my bag of food, no comments or thankful so little disappointing, and some very strange noises coming from the kitchen staff. But hey ho.. the food was good, well prepared hot and tasted good so that pretty much balanced it out.

Your average McDonald's with good enough food standards and service. Looses a star as the opening hours are incorrect on the McDonald's website. The lobby closes around 10pm and the store becomes drive through only. Only the drive through is 24/7, not in store.

I quite enjoyed this McDonalds as it's quite big and they seem to be quite used to it being busy so the service was fine, can't complain! Food was as expected for a maccys! What I did think was good is the kids play area- you never see them at McDonald's anymore and they were a staple of my childhood (90's). I can't comment on how good or bad it was but I feel like it adds a touch of classic maccys which I miss! Parking could be a bit hard but I got lucky with a bay opening up!
