I wouldnā€™t even leave one star if I could.. here goes. I ordered my brand new Range Rover back in June 2022, and it finally arrived in March 2023, no issues here I was told time frames and my expectations were managed really well. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised it arrived earlier than I had thought. Went to go collect the car, hereā€™s where the first issue started. Having purchased a few more of the high end cars, Listers Land Rover now do not do insurance when you drive off (all others BMW, Mercedes, Audi do give you 7 days of insurance so you can sort yourself out and leave the showroom without faffing) I wasnā€™t told this, until I asked. So I would have actually driven off without insurance had I not asked! Anyway spent a fortune on insurance as I was so stressed and it was so last minute. Less than 3 weeks later, the speakers on the passenger side roof literally start leaking water. Itā€™s raining a lot so Iā€™m panicking thinking thereā€™s some sort of gap, water and electricity isnā€™t really the best combination! Iā€™ve called out Land Rover, a very nice gentleman called Anthony came out, gave my car a good look - apologised profusely and said the retailer needs to book in for a body shop ASAP as itā€™s not really drivable. Fast forward 3 whole days and around distressing 9-10 phone calls, finally the retailer comes to collect the car. Then, I was promised a courtesy car, like for like as Iā€™m paying a lot of money and I want to drive my car!! We went from ā€œwe donā€™t have anyā€ to ā€œwe have one can you collect it from Derbyā€ to ā€œwe donā€™t have one enterprise will be in touchā€ all in the space of a few hours. 24 hours later I am still car-less, with no help from anyone. If anyone is lucky enough to read this before they sign on the dotted line - please save your money and get yourself a nice German manufactured vehicle where the service is good too (probably not from listers)

The worst service ever, McDonaldā€™s next door give better service. I was let down even though I had done my research and was ready to order.. 1. The receptionist didnā€™t greet us, verbally or visually. I asked if I can speak to a new car sales person and she just point up and said ā€˜upstairsā€™ 2. After walking around the showroom and looking at the cars a sales person finally acknowledged me. He greeted me as he was walking past us. After another 5 minutes or so I approached him and ask him about the Range Rover Sport. He gave me the information but he was looking at his screen all the time he was talking to me. Not once did he make eye contact. He wasnā€™t even bothered about taking my details to let me know about the new Range Rover Sport. Listers is my local dealer but I have since taken my money to guy salmon and placed an order on a new discovery sport due to the shocking service. I wouldnā€™t even bring my car for a service when it is due. I actually struggle to understand to how sales people are still employed when they donā€™t want to sell cars. Itā€™s beyond me!

I brought a used Range Rover, paid for extended warrant. I later found faulty transfer box and knocking prop shaft. Landrover technician sat next to me on test drive and pretended be couldn't hear the noise. In the end the finance company paid for repairs. Land Rover Approved warranty not worth the paper it's written on and Listers service was poorest i've received in 30 years of motoring.

Really disappointed with the level of customer service!!! I asked for a refund just before Xmas and I still haven't received it, I have been told that as I have changed my card details the refund will eventually 'bounce' back to them and then it will come back to me, I was never asked if my card details had changed when I asked for the refund, surely, if this is the process then part of the refund/customer service process should be confirming cards details, I've not been asked for new card details since which is odd, I work in sales myself and know that funds do not just 'bounce' back if card details are not correct, my emails are getting ignored and no one ever answers the phone!! I was considering cancelling my request got as refund and revisiting my order for the car but now I am going to go elsewhere, such great service when we ordered the car but shocking since. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Great dealership , Lovely welcoming reception staff, very comfy waiting area with free hot drinks. My Evoque was bought in to have a few repairs carried out , which couldnā€™t be diagnosed by another dealer . The lead , head Mechanic ( controller ) SIMON , checked over and took the car for a test drive , and diagnosed my faults - all repairs have been carried out by Solihull dealership Simon and now drives as it should . Great communication , and was updated on all repairs . Car was also cleaned inside and out . Great dealership with a great team. Gerry

It's hard to tell how good a company is until there's a problem. We experienced issues with our new vehicle after two months of ownership and Stefan Creek treated us respectfully and fairly to achieve a satisfactory outcome.

IN MY OPINION... DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. WARRANTY is virtually worthless. POOR CUSTOMER CARE.. BANGERS FOR CASH car dealer with a posh front..... The car turned out to be a pile of junk with one problem after another. Dpf went just inside 6 months at 4000 miles not 7000 not covered under warranty. Salesman who sold me the car was rude to me and suggested that it was my driving style???. One other Listers guy told me that a premium brand comes with a premium price tag for running costs?? Listers did contribute Ā£400 towards the fix on top of LR 60%... I had to fight for it...A good will gesture on the basis that it's full and final settlement for all issues future or past. Which translates to go away and don't come back. Lol now the Aircon has packed up. I spent around 15 hrs messing around with the dpf issue and it cost me hundreds to get it fixed in the end.... But hey my time is worth nothing.... I felt I was supposed to be be grateful of the Ā£400 contribution . Maybe they forgot that I gave them nearly Ā£30k for the car. In my opinion the warranty has almost zero value look at the exclusions.. (the forums are telling me the timing chain is a big cost with a full vehicle wright off if it fails)....and it does!! My understanding is that the warranty..it's a separate company's that has to agree to any work undertaken and they have strict rules. I should have looked for an good independent garage that deals in landrover cars and saved some money.. at least it would have been properly checked over by a proper mechanic.....mine had virtually no ad blue in it despite being on the 165 point checklist.... What else didn't they check? The exhaust? That's on the list also I think. All in all.....a terrible experience from my personal point of view. I wouldn't give them another penny of my hard earned. If you are going to use a main dealer then look for another one.... don't use Listers....

Serviced my Land Rover in November 2021, I was quoted Ā£420, but a sleazy sales person tried to charge me Ā£620. After I refused the price was changed with insincere apologies. The record of service though was not done, and the car showing 'no service' alarm on the dashboard. They care only about cash to get from you with no care whatsoever. Look somewhere else instead.

Terrible Service from start to finish on my car. Range Rover Sport (18months old), which has broken down once with my wife in the car. Taken in for repair, and then 2 weeks ago the gearbox failed. Taken to Listers for repair. Tried to make me pick up the replacement vehicle. Didn't communicate at all about what was happening. Finally drop the car back. Not washed properly. But asked me to bring in the car as they dont deliver back within 50 miles. Finally agreed to. Get in the car. Engine problem and wont drive properly. Call Listers. They refused to support and told me to contact the LR assist number. Wanting nothing to do with their own failure in work. Would never buy a Range Rover again and would never use Listers.

We bought our Land Rover Discovery Sport in August 2022. We paid Ā£2,000 more than the price for an equivalent Discovery Sport from the car supermarket websites as it would be ā€œUsed Approvedā€ and from Listers and wanted to feel confident any issues would be looked after. In April 2023 I found the back of the passenger-side sun visor was completely soaked. When we first got the car I spotted that there were water stains in that area but it was dry (August) and as it was ā€œUsed Approvedā€ we assumed there was no issue and I simply cleaned away the water marks. When I took the car to listers they confirmed there was a windscreen leak, that the JLR warranty would not cover its repair. Listers also refused to take care of it. The Listers Service Department rep had to be prompted several times over the course of the 2 weeks our car was in with Listers to speak to JLR about the warranty, then had to be promoted again to talk to the Lister Service Manager about Listers covering the cost. When I called the switch board to ask for an update from the Service Department, I could hear the helpful lady on reception being told by the person I was after that they would call me back later, giving the impression they were avoiding me. They seemed unprofessional throughout the experience. Iā€™d really recommend saving a few Ā£000ā€™s and buy your next Land Rover elsewhere as there really isnā€™t any support from Listers when you need it.

An absolute pleasure to deal with this Company. Having my previous car serviced was made easy with the loan of a vehicle and delightful service staff. My subsequent purchase of a new Vogue, dealt with by Brad Allen, was also faultless. From the Receptionists who answer the phone immediately - not with a pre-recorded Covid message - right the way through to the purchase of new car with Brad, who is ALWAYS available to deal with any queries .

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! We purchased a 2019 Disco Sport with 19k miles on the clock at the end of June 2021. Immediately we noticed it wasnā€™t in as good condition as our previous Disco. Fast forward 4 weeks and the list of issues from the emergency service goes on for three pages, including an oil leak, a broken drive shaft that needed replacing and boot malfunctioning. We only found out about the drive shaft issue after the Land Rover Assist guy came out to us and said we must not drive the car under any circumstances. This is the same car that I had been driving my kids around in for the past 4 weeks. Obviously a massive concern. This morning, when I challenged the quality checks that were done on the car before we purchased it (obviously none), the service assistant insisted that all vehicles go through a rigorous check before handing over, so it must have all happened since we were given the car. I began to argue the case but he just repeated the same answer like a politician. To top it off, the general customer service is awful. I arrived at the reception at 11am and waited while a receptionist worked on the computer. Staff were everywhere - laughing and joking around - and not one person acknowledged me. Receptionist finally stopped what she was doing and I gave my name for an appointment scheduled for 11am (now 11.15). She wrote my name and vehicle reg on a scrap of paper before putting it to the side. She then asked me to wait outside and continued to do her work on a computer. 10 mins later, someone came outside and told me about the work that had been done. He gave me the run down of the issues and all the parts that had been replaced and then asked me to wait upstairs while someone cleaned the car as they hadnā€™t got to that bit yet. Honestly, it was all so bad, in every way. And not a single apology. Really donā€™t want the car anymore.

Richard at Listers Land Rover is amazing! He is the nicest and most genuine car salesperson I have ever come across; nothing was too much trouble for him. Richard has a very relaxed manner and is thorough in explaining the options available; he works with integrity and does not apply any pressure on the customer. Richard has continued to be helpful even since we bought our Discovery, whenever I have needed some advice he has responded immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard, in fact anyone wanting to buy from Land Rover would be very fortunate to receive his support. Thank you for a great service! Jade

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Took my range rover to service there 2 times, and in both cases, there was something wrong after service. First time they didn't reset the service reminder, and I keep getting the reminder to service. Have to take the car back to fix it. The second time, they have done service and a security software update. After that, the steering column movement is restricted, and also easy entry exit function of the steering column/seat is not working. Upon calling, they gave an appointment after 3 weeks, and they needed the car for the whole day. Also, they want to charge for investigating and for courtesy car. I'm never taking my car to this place...

Had my Range Rover coming up to 2 months now and Kerry really looked after me throughout the process. Told her my budget and what I was looking for and she worked her magic. Browsed through our options and had my car in my possession within a week. Was a great experience and would use them again.

Wow, where do we begin, excellent customer service from Kam at Land Rover Solihull. From day 1 to day of collection he communicated throughout, kept us updated and was very clear on next steps. On day of collection he made us feel very comfortable, made the reveal as amazing as he could and really went above and beyond!! Wasnā€™t rushed, very calming and attentive. Would definitely buy another car from Kam at this branch. Amazing guy!

Great experience in all my service bookings. Last one was a special one worth a review, it was about tyre replacement. Zach Swart who was my service advisor, did a great job finding the exact tyres I wanted and ordered them for me. The alloys were scratched in the tyre replacement process. I realized immediately and reported it. Zach dealt with it immediately, apologized and booked an appointment to get the rims re-painted. I was expecting some nonsense and need to go back and forth proving that the damage was not there before, but he immediately knew it was not there before and did all he could to correct it in the best possible way. I was a bit sceptical about how good the result will be, normally when something goes wrong in a repair shop the fix is done in the cheapest possible way. Zach promised they will look as good as new, and oh boy, he was absolutely right, Iā€™m really impressed with the results, it was not just a hotfix, it was properly fixed and painted, looking even better than before the issue happened. The only negative side on this experience is that they didnā€™t report the damage to me, I had to check my alloys and find the damage (not the easiest when raining). Who knows how different this experience could have been if Iā€™d drive off the dealership with the damage and report after I got home. Scratches in black alloys is something that is impossible not to notice. I know things happens, but just letting me know upfront should have been the way to go. Many thanks to Zach for making it a positive experience.

These guys were excellent servicing my Evoque . The communication was spot on, with health check video sent to me and updates on when the vehicle would be finished. The price was very good for the work I had done. Karl was so great throughout and gave me a follow up call a few days later and Poppy, who dropped off and collected my car, explained very thoroughly in laymanā€™s terms, the work theyā€™d carried out. Very happy all round :)

Safe to say will not be taking our Range Rover here again. Absolutely appalling service. My partner was due to pick the car up on a Friday and he gets a phone call from Zach advising him there is a fault with the parking brake and would cost an extortionate Ā£3,000-Ā£6,000 to get this fixed. Bearing in mind we had just spent under Ā£6,000 to have the car serviced and various work to be carried out. The car had supposedly been valeted but the inside of the windscreen was all smeared and the bodywork wasnā€™t clean. The car didnā€™t even look as if it had been cleaned or valeted? Whilst driving the car psi came up on dash advising tyre pressures were low, after 4 brand new tyres had been fitted? And also fluid levels low? To my partners dismay when he had opened the bonnet the engine bay was covered in leaves and pieces of rubber were within the engine bay! What exactly had Range Rover done? Will be taking our car elsewhere in the future and will not be recommending this dealer/service department to anyone. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Visited Listers today, no appointment I am sorry to say, a friendly receptionist took my details and made me a lovely Americano coffee. fifteen minutes later despite two requests for service I was informed there was no body to assist me. Very well done Listers plenty more dealers out there willing to take my money. Shame as sadly you were my nearest dealership.

Having experienced a terrible time with another manufacturer dealership we were concerned that attention to detail, customer service and poor communication were the industry normā€¦.thank goodness that Listers and in particular Jordan proved that our fears were unfounded. From the first call through to preparation and handover our experience was fantastic. When we need our next vehicle we will start here first.

Made an appointment to come to the place for the first time arrived at reception Told to wait, someone will be down to see you After 30 minutes came over to me and told me are too busy. Canā€™t see me ring back up and make an appointment unbelievable disgraceful customer service. Please do not use this Land Rover dealership. They are disgusting behaviour. This is my first time at this dealership and to be treated this way. Avoid at all costs. They are very very unprofessional they do not deserve one star, if I could I would give them a zero stars

Fantastic service from Listers Land Rover in Solihull when purchasing my new vehicle. Brad in their sales department was brilliant from start to finish and couldn't have done more to assist. Communication throughout was great with calls and emails returned promptly. Having dealt with many Land Rover dealers over the years this is by far one of the best. Many thanks.

We have recently returned to Listers Land Rover Solihull to upgrade our Discovery Sport. My husband and I appreciate and value the support we were given throughout the car purchasing process. Our salesperson was Kerry Fogarty and we were impressed with how our specific requirements were met. Kerryā€™s communication was excellent and frequent. We feel that Kerry went the extra mile for us. We highly recommend Listers Land Rover Solihull.

Restored faith in the listers brand following dreadful service from a neighbouring Listers site. Jordan Dowsett greeted us with a warm welcome from the moment that we arrived and his patience, product knowledge and communication has been absolutely first class. I will have no hesitation to return and very much hope a sale can be agreed with the very person. Keep up the great work and see you in the New Year.

Wow went to view cars upto Ā£70,000 to spend. The daughter of the sales person was sitting in the desk next to her mom eating McDonalds and interrupting her mom while we were speaking, the sales person looked uninterested told us to look on the website and call her straight away when we saw something. She did not give us a card so I donā€™t even know her name except she was the only so called Salesperson on duty on Sunday. Is this was the new way of doing Sales. I would like to add we went to Listers Jaguar up the road we saw Jack who was Amazing

Very` impressed with the fantastic services; Holly Bacon was exceptionally helpful and resourceful when I had an issue with my Evoque recently. She is easy to communicate with and her unique problem solving mindset is an asset to the dealership! I would also like to mention the Manager of Services- Aaron Russell, who is always helpful, approachable and values his customers! I would like to add another review : I was looked after by Matt (Mathew) recently - he was very efficient at sorting my car out asap! Matt is very helpful, easy to communicate with and approachable and he is my go to person in the dealership! Thank you :)

Excellent experience to compliment a fabulous car. There have been lots of challenges to contend with considering the pandemic and the shortage of parts, but Kerry always did everything she could to make this work for us. Thanks for everything Kerry and all your colleagues at Listers Solihull.

Thank you so much to Qumar and the team at Listers for looking after us. We are all so pleased with our new car. I highly recommend the team to anyone looking for a new car.

We booked my wife's RR sport 2017 in for a service. Told the service reception guy Mat that we had an orange warning light and could they check while doing the service. His reply NO !!. It would cost another Ā£180 to check. So we declined the check. Then we get the car back and light was gone. But, two days later the light reappeared I took the car back and asked the same guy if he could explain how it had gone when it was serviced. And Yes you guessed right it will cost Ā£180 to tell me. So, if the annual service cleared it, surely when doing the service the computer would have told the engineer the fault?. All i want to know is what the alarm code is what the fault it is? So from a regular Listers land Rover customer all i can say is. No more thank you.

Let me first start off in saying I would score zero stars if I could. I brought a 3 year older Range Rover from a landrover dealership 6 weeks ago with 1 years warranty. It started to develop a oil smell so I booked it in to this dealership for repair and was given a date of repair two weeks ahead. Two days before the booking I received a phone call from them to tell me to call Land Rover assistance to come out to my house who I donā€™t think can do anything with an oil leak or smell on the side of the road. So the car has to go to a dealership. I got to the dealership and was told the loan car we are proving you as of 9am tdy has to be back by 5 pm today and this is just a initial assessment to see whatā€™s wrong with your car. Thatā€™s not what I booked my car in for especially waiting two weeks and I was not told this at all. Would I not be right in saying if you book a car into a dealership for repair and tell them whatā€™s wrong you expect them to take note of that to repair the car and give you the car back once repaired not just to have a look at the car. Otherwise what is the point of waiting two weeks for repair when in fact they only going to give you the car back on the same day if they canā€™t repair it, where the logic in that or they will ask for their loan car back by 5 pm same day. Then I had a phone call from the dealership from Matt from service who I was dealing with to say I fitted another front bumper to the car which they did not want to remove to check for any leaks from under the car in case they damaged the bumper because they initially were implying itā€™s a after market bumper when I pointed out itā€™s a bumper that landrover do them selves itā€™s not a aftermarket bumper I was then told we donā€™t see these bumpers that much so it will cost you Ā£300 for us to remove it to check the oil leak under the car for any drips. I refused that and said I will take it my local garage and ask them to have a look. Iā€™ve attached a picture of my bumper my actual car and a picture of a bumper of the Land Rover website. Try to spot the difference and ask yourself why did Land Rover not remove my bumper and allowed me to drive my car away with a oil leak. Absolutely brilliant customer service šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ there were other faults with the car as well which I pointed out on the day which was a Friday and I was told I will get a callback on Tuesday from Matt in 4days. Today is Wednesday and no call back from them surprise surprise. Story gets better. Five Days on from bringing my car back from the dealership the suspension light has come on and now I have another problem with the car. Moral of the story is these Cars are built very poorly the customer service is very poor and overall everything about Land Rover is absolutely very poor. So if youā€™re expecting to buy a Land Rover and have great service I very much doubt it from there cars or be it from the dealership.
