Great place to shop. Good offers. Nice wide aisles. Toilets and disabled toilets on the premises, both upstairs or via the lift. Also a cafeteria, also upstairs or via the lift. Very friendly, helpful staff on the checkouts. Although not a lot of staff actually on the shop floor. There is also a tobacconist. Also I picked up an order from here the other day and as I'm disabled and had ordered two large storage boxes they were not going to come through the delivery hatch. I was dumfounded and didn't know what to do. Luckily a very nice gentleman named Mason came to help me . May I say he went over and aboard to help me.

Shopped at Asda from the day it opened and have watched it go from a fantastic store to a shadow of its former self. I don't want to self checkout with £150 worth of shopping. I want cashiers! I want to see well stocked shelves and variety. Sadly non existent in this store. I go to morrisons nowadays.

Asda home delivery is just THE worst. Out of a £100 shop only 30% of my shopping was delivered, just the cupboard items. We thought the driver was going back to the van to get the rest of our shopping. But he never came back. 6 x chicken, 4 x mince beef, all the salad and fresh pasta salad for work lunch, cheese, everything fresh basically and everything I need to cook a meal. I spoke to customer service straight away who were no help. Eventually I was transferred, without being told, to another person who eventually called the Chelmsley Wood Asda Store and told me he spoke to the manager. I made it clear without the meat and fresh items I was unable to cook dinner and as this was over a weeks worth of shopping we would be with out food and I didn’t want a refund just the shopping I had ordered, even offered to go and collect it. But alas, these appears impossible when they don’t deliver your shopping!! I was told the manager said he would call me as soon as the driver was back. This was 6pm. But nothing, I ended up having to order food on my credit card for the family to eat as it was so late. This morning I have followed the instructions, marked all the items in the app not delivered as missing, and requested a refund. I then got an email to say the refund has been rejected which meant another hour on the phone and still no food. I’ve been told as she has the list of missing items a refund will be put through and I will hear from the payment team in the next 48 hours. The refund then still needs to be issued. I’m left in the mean time with no food to feed my family and no refund to be able to do any more shopping. To leave a family like this is disgusting. The staff don’t care, customer services are not bothered and either transfer you to someone else or transfer you to a line that just rings out then finally says “there is nobody to take you call” and then cut you off, so you have to call again and go through the whole thing again with someone else. The manager of the store doesn’t care and doesn’t even bother calling back when promised to do so, so I’m now left with no meat, or fresh food which included lunch box stuff for my kids and husband. Absolutely disgusting, I am gutted I have gift vouchers left via a hamper company that I thought would help over the Christmas period as I’m forced to have to use them at Asda again when in reality I would rather go to a supermarket that cares about its customers and doesn’t steal food from them and then withhold customers money preventing them buying replacements. Will not be saving for Asda vouchers ever again, what a waste of money, I aste of time and a whole heap of stress trying to get it all sorted.

Not sure what has happened to this store recently. Went there 25th Feb noticed that all of the outside rubbish bins were overflowing, there were relatively few shopping trolleys in the bays and most frustrating of all there was no scan and go devices fully charged Come on ASDA get your act together

Used to shop here all the time. But recently every time I go in the shelves are bare the queues are massive and I’ve left before purchasing anything. They either have massive supply issues or not enough staff to run the store and keep the shelves full. Absolutely shocking!!!!

I am so disappointe today. I went to shop with my bought every need. A lady was working the payment section reported us to security , because they tough we were stealing , without asking us any thing. What I feel is racism shame on them. I haven't been so humiliated my entire live. I will be bothering to go there any more.

Very large superstore, includes cafe, pharmacy, men's, womens and children's clothing. Household items and children's school uniform area as well as a large selection of grocery, frozen, fresh items. Very clean store. Shelves mostly stocked. Manned tills as well as self service checkout. Great automatic click and collect point. Just scan or type in your order number and the machine will bring you your order. Also able to return your online George orders through the machine.

Dont even want to give it a 1 for online services. Ordered online as I was busy all weekend needed food for sons birthday. Kept getting messages saying David was on his way. Then David is going to be late then nothing no shopping delivered. I rang following morning for them to say they will refund? I want my shopping. I said why was it not delivered they could not answer me. I asked if it could be delivered as I needed the food for the party. They said they could but I'd have to pay again. Lol like I've just got mo ey to throw away. You asda took my mo ey did not deliver my shopping and wanted me to oay again. NO YOU STOLE MY MONEY AND MY FOOD. Still none the wiser as to why my shopping had not been delivered. Now all of a sudden days later on my app it says my shopping has been delivered and can I review it. No because I did not recieve my shopping is this store for real ?

Personally I love shopping with the handheld scanner. I immediately see scanned prices and offers and I've never encountered a queue at scan checkout. Easy to use and quick to obtain. I recommend this as a quick way to shop and avoid queuing.

Was invited to a “trial shift” I worked for just over a hour, got called into office did a question sheet and haven’t heard from them since. They’re still posting the job so seems like they’re using people for free work! I wasn’t paid a penny for the work I did. So what says they’re paying everyone else who goes to these “trail shifts” that keep getting posted. Adds up to a lot of free work for Asda!!!!

Staff are always friendly and helpful, but the shelves looked a bit bare.

They need to change the posting of their opening times. Open until 23:00 apparently yet when I popped down there for a last minute bottle of milk I was greeted by locked doors at 22:45. OPEN until 23:00 is a lie if the doors aren't open at 22:45. Wasting customers time and fuel (if driving) by falsely advertising a closing time they have no intention of sticking to. Asda really do not give a monkey's about customer's and the service they provide anymore. This was just the last straw but I have noticed at other moments but I haven't posted a review until now. Self scan checkouts are a joke, they sold them to customers as beating the queues when really it was about reducing staff numbers and we all accepted them, now half the length of the store is self scan checkouts and you have to queue up just as long as you used to anyway.

To be honest they’re lucky to get one star, the service is very very poor, was waiting in the queue for over half an hour, only one person on the kiosk and she stood around while waiting for someone to help, when someone came he gave shoppers attitude. Disgusting. Fix up Asda

Warning to you all do not bother using the Asda pre order for Christmas turkeys for delivery from Asda Chelmsley Wood! Last year my shopping arrived and I suddenly realised the turkey crown hadn't been delivered. Customer services said they would give me a refund I said I don't need a refund I need my pre ordered turkey crown. I was told she would speak to the store and call Me back. They never rang. I then had to ring after Christmas for a refund. They assured me they would look into it and take it seriously. This year my shopping arrives and the driver says have I given you your turkey crown I said no, he said sorry I don't have it, it's been left at the store! Customer services again said they would call me back and checked my phone number and never rang. The whole idea of a pre ordered item is that you don't have to worry about items being in stock. I get that mistakes happen but they don't even try and fix it they just say we will refund you.... That leaves me without a turkey for Christmas. They obviously hadn't learnt from last year as they have done it 2 years in a row! I will be advising everyone not to use Asda for Christmas as I would hate for others to be treated the way I have been.

My weekly home delivery comes from this store, the last 2 weeks one of the 6 pint bottles of milk had leaked all over the rest of the food in the crate and this week (22 September) the chicken & bacon sandwich filler I received was use by 18 sep - unfortunately my son and I didn't notice this until after we ate it so we are just hoping we don't end up vomiting later on! I've cancelled my delivery pass and won't be shopping here again.

Not the best Asda but nearest. I would advise not bothering and go to the one in Minworth instead.

Went for a coffee upstairs in Asda today to kill some time before an appointment. Never again place needs a deep clean. Store management need to up their game and get on top of their domestic staff. I have been to some places around the world that was considered as third world and the pits. But they were cleaner than this!! Is this acceptable in this day and age ??

A big thanks to the Pharmacy. I’ve used them a number of times and the staff have always been friendly and helpful but this time they have outdone themselves! An item on my prescription was out of stock due to manufacturing problems but they spent the best part of a week tracking it down. Extra super service and much appreciated. Thank you very much!

Terrible online shop, missed the cat food so call customer service and its our fault we haven't the food. What a shadow of its former self this market shop has become. Out to con who they can but better shops exist out there.

If you are thinking of working at this store think again... i worked here for just over a year. The Management are rude & non-existent and act like Nazis and treat staff like we were little kids.... had to ask permission to get a drink. No appreciation for work done either. Glad i left for pastures new. Do i upload pictures of the actual cleanliness the store?

It's good shopping centre, has most businesses, and retail shops reasonable prices, also has banks I.e Halifax and Lloyd's. Also has asda store next to precent and there's a soft play area located at the bottom of escalators next to asda also has gym,a hairdressers and charity shop located in same area.

Shop here multiple times in a week. However in the past few months, when doing my weekly shop, frequently empty shelves, never any semi skimmed Cravendale. Generally poor choice. Phoned customer services & nothing has changed, so now my main shopping is Morrisons or Sainsburys & the local butcher

Used to be better. Don't know if they have a staffing problem with restocking shelves or just no supplies but the last 4 visits Ive left with a quarter of what I wanted due to lack of goods (eg cheese sauce, cheese and tomato pizza). Then theres the list of things I used to buy that they just stopped selling after the start of the pandemic eg cheeses that were replaced by bland prepacked sliced varieties, yoghuts and quiches that are just 'gone'. Shame, but there's getting to be less and less reason to actually go there

On Friday afternoon, the store wasn't too busy. Plenty of parking, trolleys etc. Customer service desk is very helpful, but its pot luck with hiw helpful staff can be on the floor. I've had issues with the click and collect shopping on a number of occasions

Not a complaint but a moan. Usually have a good shopping trip here but no idea what happened today. Tried to buy shoes for my granddaughter for school. She loved the ones she picked but when we got to the till the item wouldn't register. The short version is lots of different styles on display but barcode wouldn't register so we couldn't buy them. How is that possible. We went back to the are to pick another pair which we did buy. Then noticed lots of shoes being removed from display.

(I tried writing a review but think it crashed... so will try again) This is a large store and the staff overall seem helpful and friendly. I had a tricky problem on a visit there this week and the Store Supervisor (George) was fantastic and resolved the issue. It took some time but after logging onto the system was able to get things back to normal for me. I really appreciate his level of customer service and will definitely return to the store again. 5* service from the guy. Big thank you. Iain

Only popped in for a parcel pick-up. But one thing I did notice, the place was very crowded, and the floor was quite dirty.
