    £20 To fit a mtb bike tyre and inner tube on the same wheel. Not knocking the service just the extortionate price. £10 per item thats just taking the p***. Won't be back anytime soon. Made contact with customer services as suggested. Told me it was correctly priced and ended with "Is there anything else you might still need help with today?" Glad I wasted my time.with this.

    I was doing up the seatbelt on my car, caught a part of the zip in the buckle and that went into the mechanism. Belt wouldn’t work. Tried to retrieve the part but it went further in. Online YouTube’s etc couldn’t give a fix and I was looking at a lot of money at the dealer for a new belt. Called in here in the off chance and explained the problem. Was asked to wait and tiled they would try to help me out. In the 15 minutes I was in the office the phone rang about eight times and every time the advice was helpful, courteous and polite. Each caller was told the garage was very busy and I could confirm this myself just by looking. After 15 minutes, happy mechanic was saying that problem was solved by “good luck”. That’s nonsense it was solved by care, kindness, experience and taking the time to help me when, strictly speaking, they didn’t have that time. Customer service is rare in these times of AI and chat bits but I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

    We were refurbishing a relatively old bike for our Ukranian Guests. The team were very empathetic to make sure we did all the things to make it a good, safe ride but not over egging what was needed.

    A massive thank you to Aqub a polite fellow who efficiently installed my side light bulb and offered some splendid advice. Courtesy and respect is in short supply these days but people like Aqib are a credit to your team. Well done Halfords!

    The booking and arrival process extremely straight forward. I had an issue with my car and pinpoint the exact problem without any hassle (all other mechanics I have been said head gasket was the issue). They said I need to find a transmission specialist for the issue to be checked in detail and possible fix. They are honest and well established. If you have car which you look after definitely visit this place instead of any other place.

    Great experience - Mitch approached me whilst I was browsing cycles and talked me through the benefits of the ones I was browsing. He talked me through all of the accessories I would need and the cycle plan service coverage. When I came to collect the bike Oliver helped me with the pick up and ensured everything was correct and even adjusted my seat with a saw to make sure it was the right height. Both team members were excellent.

    I came in today to try and change my wipers myself. Unfortunately I couldn’t do it. The tall blonde lady at the front desk was so lovely and helpful and patient and the guy I think his name was Sam who helped me outside was also so lovely and kind, thank you so much guys

    Just wanted to leave a good review for the Guy that helped me on the Audio section. I didnt get his name but he went above and beyond to get my stereo sorted. Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed but he tried his hardest and I had just walked in off the street, no booking.

    Booked in for a simple windscreen chip repair and they damaged my bonnet with some sort of glue residue. Called asking for a manager which never called back. I had to go back to the retailer to be told pictures have to be sent somewhere as the vehicle requires body shop attention. Extremely poor service the manager never apologised once for damaging my car she acted like shes is doing me a favour. Honestly avoid this place what a joke!

    Website crashes, went into store, they could not get the gift card to work, wanted me to wait an hour for customer services to phone them back. - I’ve had this on other occasions, they never phone back! Also the oil filters were all mixed up on the shelf and the oil they recommended is not the same recommendation as the oil manufacturer does. For info, this was in store which is much better than the car service and repair centre, don’t even try that, they will ruin your car and you’ll have to get it fixed elsewhere.

    Awful experience. Had a 5pm appointment booked for the car seat demo and I got to the store and was told the technicians have gone home. I said I have an appointment booked with this store she said it has nothing to do with them when appointments are booked online. No apology. Awful service. So I rang customer service and when I finally got through I couldn't hear the agent then I heard her laugh and talk in another language. So I eventually gave up and hung up the phone. Tried talking to someone via live chat and he stopped responding midway. Wish I'd ordered the item, available at the same price, from another store. Never bothering with Halfords again.

    Was recommended to use the team at Shirley for a cam belt replacement. Was not disappointed. Great experience from start to finish. Bravo to centre manager Dave who explained everything, an exceptional customer experience. Cannot speak too highly about this branch of Halfords. Hope they can continue their very high standards.     Three Stars for being super Expensive!! Like everything else you have to shop around. Have to say their range of supplied vehicle spaces is not only comprehensive but generally well-priced, as well as being of good quality. very useful if you find it difficult to get to dealers in normal hours. Some of their stuff is silly money though, but convenience comes at a price.

    David was very helpful installing my new indicator bulb and helped me to locate the correct bulb. He also advised me this was a common issue with my car. Overall excellent service and very happy with my experience

    The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, really willing to help. Prices more than acceptable too. One point was that the same product is duplicated in different parts of the store, and I had to ask for assistance to find the size of product required (I had already found the product, but it was also elsewhere in the size I required). Perhaps just put each product (all available sizes) in one place to avoid customer confusion and wasted time enquiring? As already said, staff were excellent.

    I ordered a Tyres on the Drive service (duxback treatment), booked it in for 08/12/23 and made arrangements to be home. On the day I got a call that they wouldn’t be coming out due to not having the treatment in stock, this is the second time I’ve ordered the same thing and the exact same thing has happened – cancelled on the day. Super inconvenient when you’ve made arrangements already. Either way the Halfords rep on the phone said I would be issued a refund and get an email to confirm that same day, I didn’t see this come through so followed up with an email on 11/12/23 which I didn’t get a response to. I then contacted them via the Halfords Virtual Assistant on 21/12/23, they still couldn’t process my refund but assured me that the ‘specialist team’ would contact me within 24-72 hours. I received no contact until 01/01/24 when I finally had an email, I responded with all my frustration as well as the requested bank details for a refund, I finally received a refund on 03/01/24 (almost a month after the booking) which I only knew about by checking my online banking as Halfords didn’t send me any response to my email or feedback I’d given about my experience, shocking customer service!

    I had visited Halfords at Shirley a few days ago, I had gone in about replacing a rear wiper, The young lady , may be Brandon not sure of name was excellent, said I could for £10 join & have a 10 point check done tyres, lights etc well worth it. I was so impressed , that I went back & joined the Halfords club. booked a full service plus MOT. Great staff, well done, been a pleasure. thanks.

    Excellent speedy service at Shirley. Originally I went to Sheldon to have a main beam bulb changed but the operative was unable to undo the bulb and blamed Heath and safety for not being unable to do the job.The Shirley branch did the job within minutes without any hesitation.

    Fantastic polite friendly service I have never had to buy window wipers before, really helpful person. Asked my questions they didn't roll their eyes when I had to check my car reg. They collected the wipers and asked about fitting them and confirmed the cost of fitting. Fitted straight away and took all the rubbish away. Thanked me. Just made it really quick and easy.

    What fantastic service. My husband and I visited the Shirley branch and were greeted by a friendly and very knowledgeable member of staff. We needed replacement bulbs for my car. He took the bulbs from us, knew exactly which bulbs we needed, took us to the right section in the store and handed us the bulbs, answering any questions we had. We were served immediately at the till point and received an email receipt. It is rare to receive this kind of efficient and friendly service and we really appreciated it. The staff should be commended.

    I visit a few local Halfords but Shirley is definitely my preferred store Pleasent friendly staff very knowledgeable the majority of the time. The store is very well presented and web site stock check hasn’t let me down yet, So weather I wish to look around the store or click and collect I’m normally very pleased Thanks to all the Shirley staff.

    I gave 4 stars, but it could be 3 start as well! I Had my dashcam fitted at this Halford, the staff at the till was very friendly and helpful, however I was told the work would take up to 2 hours and once it is done someone would contact me to let me know so I could collect the car, but I had no call after about 2 and half hours and hence we ended up just heading back to the shop to ask whether it was finished. When we got there the car was ready! Also, the technician had left all the empty box on the foot math without trying to put them together, at least. Also, they could have given a short explanation of how the dash cam works, It would have been nice and more professional.

    This is one of two posts for Halfords team in Shirley this week, Im back again on Tuesday. My daughter's car was booked in for a check up and the staff at the garage and store all helped to facilitate this. It was only booked in <24 hours before so was not immediately visible. However, thanks to Lee at the store who ensured I didn't have to return home to print off an e mail ( I'd not brought a phone with me) the car was given a multi point checkover. Next, a heroine, Ash who carried out the check enabled me to open the hatchback and deposit dog items in it while we went over the check list. Thoroughly professional and pleasant, Ash discussed the two key points requiring further attention and returned to the store with me to go over the check up in detail. One item is for me to sort, new tyres, the other a faulty electrical connection with a rear dash cam and high level third break light which she picked up. Brought to the attention of Lee, I was invited to return first opportunity on Tuesday when the dash cam expert from the store where the cameras were fitted will be fitting me in ahead of his other scheduled work. So pleased with this combination of staff that I felt I should write it up. Full marks.

    I made a visited to Shirley store to purchase 2 tyres and inner tubes for my bike and 2 headlight bulbs for my car. The staff were extremely helpful and very polite, Naomi (car parts) and her colleagues Kate and a lovely chap (Cycling). Supported me by answering lots of product questions and helped me to purchase the right items to resolve my requests. Excellent interpersonal skills and lots of knowledge shared by the team, I will definitely make recommendations to shop at Halfords in Shirley to all my family and friends.     Had a dash cam fitted and to be honest I would recommend to everyone. I think the price was superb, the staff were excellent and the quality of the job was out of this world. Will definitely be back.

    Customer service was excellent from Laura and Lee, even though we struggled with the wifi. The shelves that I bought however were poor quality and difficult to assemble. These are advertised as sturdy but compared to similar shelving, the materials are not robust and quite flimsy particularly the thin boards that form the shelves. The metal frame is similarly weak and the fastening tabs easily bend making it difficult to interlock securely.

    Visited on Thursday to replace a simple wiper blade and after a frustrating start trying to fit an incorrect part I then received much needed help and assistance from Stephen who saw my frustration and quickly stepped in to assist, got sorted in a few minutes and I was on my way.     Exelent customer service. I went to this shop to fix my thing, but unfortunately shop assistant couldn't help me. This lady explained wery clearly why she couldn't help me. Keep doing good costumer service. Event I couldn't sort out my problem, I felt wey welcome in this shop.

    Possibly good store but irritating the process you have to go through to get in touch. I left a bike to be assessed and had to go through 3rd party to find out what was happening. She couldn’t help me so eventually tried to put me through to Shirley store. Inevitable delay but eventually in touch with main desk at store. He then had to go and find out what was needed for bike repair/service. As I wasn’t speaking to the bike department I had to be told later when bike would be booked in. Surely Halfords needs to look at method of communicating with stores.

    I had my Mot and service booked for 7/10 but their system shows 13/10 . Such a waist of time and resources☹️. Even I shown my email and website confirmations to the reception guy but he was not able to understand to corporate or apologise for their system error. More over , he was so rude and unprofessional in his behaviour and communication. Be careful to use their web service to avoid any disappointment. It’s shame that such a big company do not lock into staff training and how to communicate effectively 👎

    Thank you Halfords for all your help and effort to arrange the installation of the roof bars and box everyone who we had dealings with at Solihull were incredible nothing was to much trouble and the customer service was excellent all staff went above and beyond which was wonderful Matt who did the installation was great and made the whole process very straightforward.
