Beware of Cathy’s Ace Hardware: A Disappointing Experience of Rude Behavior and Overpricing During our drive through Mexico Beach we stopped in to by a product from Ace Hardware. As we got to our destination, we found the product in a few other places for a much cheaper price and reached out to Cathy’s to discuss the return policy and ask if they were aware of the extreme price difference from theirs to identical products elsewhere. This business, unfortunately, has displayed rude behavior and overpricing tendencies. This review aims to shed light on the unfortunate experiences of customers who have felt taken advantage of, particularly those from out of town.

Terrible Experience with Overpriced and Rude Company I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Ace Hardware, and I must say it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had as a customer. Not only were their items ridiculously overpriced, but their some of the stuff members were incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Price gauging and AWFUL costumer service. The man was rude and rushed us off the phone. Their prices are $200 more than retail because of their location. Ridiculous!!!

This store has a good supply for your every day needs. Friendly staff, easy in and out.

Some employees need to take a class on customer service and how to be nice. Some seem like you are bothering them if you ask for help.

Local peeps. Great staff. Understanding staff. Very positive and encouraging during and after Hurricane Michael. Mr. Cathy is a true man of God with lots of compassion.

The customer service is absolutely amazing! Every time I go, I'm assisted with friendly employees and even the office personnel from upstairs. Rhonda and Jen are incredible, but they are the only two names that I remember offhand.
