I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED AT THIS HOSTEL AND CASA PEPE REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND FOR EXTRA CHARGE. I made 2 reservations by mistake and canceled the second one right away (see a screenshot attached) but still got charged for it. This hostel has been impossible to get in touch with but when I finally did (see the date on a screenshot: December 13) - they say that this booking is non refundable when everything proves that I canceled it in time FOR FREE. They just want your money so please don’t stay here. Don’t support the scammers! Also, the breakfast ISN’T FREE. Update: they said they will reach out to me to resolve it but I spent another 2 weeks to get a hold of them and then they said that the booking is non-refundable.

How this hostel has so many great reviews is so concerning! We had to leave after our first night and find alternative accommodation (we were meant to stay 3 nights). The price to stay is extremely excessive for the accommodation and service offered. The property description of the room is inaccurate and misleading - the room did not have a hair dryer, no wardrobe, no safe deposit box and no inner courtyard view. The room was damp, hot (even though outside temp in Mexico is 16 - 20 Celsius), no air conditioning, no fan, bathroom didn’t even have an exhaust fan (there was so much steam which makes one wonder if they are just painting over the mould)(there is also no window in the bathroom so you can’t air it out), the curtain didn’t cover the window (so the light comes in from the street at night and early in the morning), the room is not sound proof from both the outside noise and the inside noise - you will hear every conversation from your neighbouring travellers and every conversation happening in the street. They give you ear plugs, but they don’t even block out the noise. We did not get any sleep all night - even for a hostel this is unacceptable. The bed is hard and the sheets and doona cover were not clean and there were holes in the sheets. The breakfast we had included in the price and it ran from 7-11; we arrived at 10 for breakfast but they ran out of bread (which ruled out any of the egg (protein) options) and ran out of muesli, thus all that was left was a bowl of yoghurt with some fruit and a scoop of peanut butter. There is no view from the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is quite segregated so this makes it harder to mingle with other people. Stay somewhere else, this place will ruin your experience of Mexico City!

I really enjoyed my stay at casa Pepe. The hostel offers a wide range of activities and the atmosphere is very warm. The rooftop is very enjoyable, and the food is way above average for a hostel. It actually matches a normal restaurant quality wise. The breakfast isn't simply cornflakes and bread. I happened to be there during a difficult period when I lost my phone and credit card and the stff clearly helped. I hope to return in better conditions there ;-)

We did not stay at Casa Pepe but booked our Teotehuacan trip through them. The location was very convenient for pick up and drop off and the driver and guide were lovely. We joined a different group for the English tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable and had great insight. He was flexible with our group as we had a few ladies that couldn't do the stairs. He made sure they were well accommodated and still enjoyed their time. The tour was well rounded and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

What a nightmare trying to do something as simple as contact anyone that works here. The website does not work, their Whatsapp people keep saying 'go to the website' and their online chat people say 'try whatsapp'. Their emails bounce back or no one replies. Just to change a simple booking. Will not be going here, looks great but just the worst experience I've had trying to reach the hostel and actually communicate with someone. ****UPDATE*** Got to the day of my booking and still no reply. I tried to cancelled my booking with this place after how frustrated I was as per above, with with no response at all from anyone, and after reading other bad reviews on here about how they double charge or charge even when cancelled, I contacted my bank and asked the to block any charges from Case Pepe. Glad I did because they hostel tried twice to take payments from my account (both times cancelled by my bank) and only after that did they finally WhatsApp and confirm they have cancelled my booking. Would be VERY careful with this place and giving over any card details.

I loved my stay at Casa Pepe and I really hope to return in the future! There are so many events through the hostel that added so much fun and opportunities to meet other travelers to my trip. The best part of Casa Pepe is the rooftop bar. It's a great place to hang out with everyone and Adrian, the bartender, is such a wonderful guy! He's so welcoming and friendly and makes amazing drinks. Make sure to say hi and chat with him while you're there. He made my experience at Casa Pepe truly wonderful!

How this hostel has so many rave reviews is beyond me. I booked a room for two nights and had to check out after only staying one night. I've stayed in many hostels and this is the WORST I've visited by far. There are stains on the headboard and sheets. It is impossible to sleep because the streets are so loud and the walls are paper thin. You can hear other guests' conversations in the room next to you. Overall the hostel is dingy and gross and I wouldn't consider the staff friendly or accommodating. Do yourself a favor and book a room at Selina if you are looking into staying at a hostel.

Loved the vibes, location of the hostel,. infrastructure facilities, activities planned and most importantly the people! Stayed here for 6 nights and went for 3 of their walking tours with Keren who is an amazing host and too sweet! She helps to give as much information as possible about the walking tours and has amazing hospitality, I would definitely recommend to visit this hostel and meet this amazing person too! ☺️

For your own sake, stay somewhere else. Mosquitos in the rooms at night literally buzzing by my ear made it super hard to sleep, the staff isn’t friendly or welcoming in the slightest (on the day of my checkout they wouldn’t even let me get the happy hour deal because I “was no longer a guest,” and it’s a super lame, strict environment. EVERYTHING is closed, even the common areas to hang out extremely early. Like 10pm early. It’s not particularly social (the WhatsApp group is nice but you don’t have to stay there to join it, just walk in and scan the QR) and the tours through them are legitimately 5x more expensive than other places. Selina was surprisingly much better in this city, I recommend there 10/10 times. Much better, social vibe

Casa Pepe is amazing! I haven't stopped taking about it since I landed back home. The service is absolutely amazing, the staff are so accommodating and are always concerned about your safety. I had a situation where I was robbed in Mexico and the staff made sure I was taken care of and was able to get back to my destination. Thank you Xena for riding with me to the police to make sure I could get a police report. Thank you Liam for making sure that a night never went dull. Thank you Bo for your amazing dance moves! Thank you Jasmine, Fernando, and Ale and Anny for being my refuge and now my friends for life! Casa Pepe is by far the most magical place in Mexico I've ever been! Thank you all ❤️

Ale is very friendly and helpful staff with alot patience.the vibe of the hostel is very easy going and comfortable, they have the security for taking care of the luggage that’s very thoughtful. the interior decor is lovely. Just have to say the shared kitchen a bit too crowded and small, and the trash bin in the kitchen is too small. I had good rest at this hostel!

Absolutely blown away by my recent experience at the hostel and the market tour led by Ale! The hostel itself was clean, vibrant, and filled with the most welcoming community. Staff were always helpful, and the amenities were top-notch, making it easy to feel at home. But what truly set this experience apart was the market tour guided by Ale. Her intimate knowledge of Mexico City's markets was astonishing. We navigated through stalls like seasoned locals, discovering exotic fruits, artisan crafts, and mouthwatering street foods that I never would have found on my own. Ale's passion for her culture shined throughout the tour, making every moment feel like a deep dive into the heart and soul of the city. If you're visiting Mexico City and want an authentic, enriching experience, I can't recommend this hostel and Ale's market tour highly enough!

Bar staff is extremely rude. They’ll tell you they’re out of something when they just don’t want to make it. Like what bar legitimately runs out of tequila? Also tried to tell me they don’t serve tea when I was so sick I nearly lost my voice. The cleaning products they use smell extremely toxic and cannot be safe. Cleaning staff will throw your stuff away while also not replacing empty products in the bathroom. Some days they didn’t clean the room, which got really gross when there was 8 people and one bathroom. My door key stopped working multiple times. Area is sketchy.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Casa Pepe is a very average, basic hostel. I might even recommend it for travellers on a budget. Unfortunately it's marketed as premium accomodation and priced accordingly, which means you will get horrendous value for money. The good: - Beds are clean and comfortable enough - Decent-sized common area Not so good: - Noisy all the time - Mosquitos in rooms - Rooftop bar is overpriced and has no view - No toilet paper available half the time - The toilet in the room wouldn't flush properly - Had two people staying in a double room but they wouldn't give us both breakfast - Prices listed on the website are without taxes and fees. Add about 20% to get the real price.

Casa Pepe is a hidden gem located within the historic district of CDMX. Ideal location to sight see and close proximity to bars / restaurants / etc. The building is well maintained and the rooftop is amazing to hangout and socialize. Everyone is very friendly and meeting people is not issue at all. The hostel put's on various events throughout the week that are amazing. Loriana was absolutely amazing when I was checking in. She answered all my questions and even gave me various recommendations on things I should do while I was in town. She was very sweet and even showed me where my room was (mind you the hostel is 5 stories high). Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Building, staff, and bartenders were awesome. Thanks again Loriana and team!!

The worst value for money I've been traveling for eight months and I've never encountered a hostel with such dishonest employee attitude. In addition to that there were worms on my shower floor, I commented on this several times but the contamination remained. Bottom line, I highly recommend going to another hostel, not worth the amount they charge. :(

They stole my money at this hostal... They charged me twice for the booking... Once through booking with paypal and then again they made me pay in cash when I arrived at the hostal... They said they were going to refund the double charge but they never did... Very dishonest place...

Loved my stay at Casa Pepe. Cozy and comfy beds with the safe next to the bed being a plus. Rooftop is awesome and a great place to meet other travelers no matter the time of day, but especially from 6p-7p during the "power hour" and later. Not a party hostel, but a great social hostel. Would definitely stay again.

Nice location conveniently around Centro and many famous tourist spots & also close to metro and bus lines for easy public transport. Has a few chill and relaxations spots and also a rooftop bar to meet people, with a decent happy hour from 6-7pm daily drink unlimited draft beer or the daily mix for 100 mxn. Was a bit quieter than some hostels but possibly due to staying around the holiday season.

This hostel is very social. Rooms and shared bathrooms are kept clean throughout the day. Staff and volunteers are helpful and friendly. Anthony showed us around the city and took us to great clubs and bars. Would absolutely come back!!

This was our first stop on a tour of Mexico and Central America, and was the perfect easing in to backpacker life. The staff are all brilliant - super accomodating and smily. Rooms were sparkling clean, and food was great too. The main draw, despite these brilliant positives, was the people you meet. It's a great community, and Casa Pepe's tours bring everyone together perfectly. We especially enjoyed the karaoke night and the boat trip.

The hostel was fine. Beds super comfy. Good location. The rooftop bar was nice, however a bit disappointed with a few things. - They say it’s unlimited margaritas for an hour but both times they ‘run out’ so it’s hardly unlimited. Also there’s only one guy on the bar so really you only get 2-3 margaritas in that time frame if you’re lucky. It’s quite misleading advertisement. -They shut the rooftop bar one night for a ‘staff party’ me and a friend didn’t get a chance to use our free drink coupon because of this. I understand the staff deserve a break/party but why host it in a hostel where there are paying guests? - The ‘party volunteer’ dragged my friend out of a club and shouted at him which was pretty weird behaviour. - The TV doesn’t work very well if you want a chilled evening. - The breakfast isn’t worth paying extra for, it’s tiny. - the activities are insanely over priced, if you organise the activities yourself you will save SO much money. Overall wouldn’t recommend this hostel for the reasons above.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Very well run with amazing staff. The free tours are great as well as the ones you can pay to go on. The roof top is such a great perk. The beds in the dorm rooms are very well designed for privacy!

Casa Pepe is great if you want a party hostel. The breakfast included is very weak and we found it a bit more challenging than other hostels in cdmx to meet people since there is no chilling area. But the amenities are great, you even get your room cleaned and staff is quite helpful! There are also a lot of activities within the hostel. We liked our stay but we prefer viajero hostel 🙂

  • 5/5 Emmanuel A. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hostel, every day there are nice activities. Everything is very clean and the roof terrace is very nice and big. I would also like to thank the staff . The whole team such as Luz were always friendly and helpful. I will be happy to come back again!

I visited Casa Pepe last week. I absolutely loved Casa Pepe. I really enjoyed all the activities that were provided. I also liked that it was very close to a lot of towns and attractions that were working distance. I also loved the volunteers at the hostel, especially Liam (crazy Welsh) and the girl that taught me salsa. You guys rock and made my trip just much more memorable. Thank you for everything. I will see you guys soon. Cheers 🤙🏻

Having a wonderful stay at this place. Very clean facilities and the staff are friendly. Also I would highly recommend the bike tour here with Jair. He is very knowledgeable about the city and will just show you an overall great time. The tour covers a lot of the city and is a great to understand the layout and the different districts.

Hostel with lots of activities in great central location. We didn’t like the single rooms at all. Old, dirty, clogged drain, and we found two cockroaches. If you like party hostel live and don’t care about the room it will be great for you. If you care about a decent room go somewhere else. For same price you will find way better rooms in same location.

Great hostel! Clean rooms and nice roof! Location is a little far from touristy areas but not bad. Hostel hosts great events, the volunteer Dani who was running them was amazing!! Highly recommend

I had a great time at Casa Pepe. I was greet by a super sweet volunteer named Dani when I went to the rooftop for happy hour. I had a great night out with her leading everyone to awesome places to party all night long. The rooms were clean. The shower was super nice with lots of water pressure. I will be back soon and will stay at casa Pepe again.

Prepaid for a breakfast when I checked in at the hostel then due to a mix-up on their end they charged me for breakfast a second time after I ate. Took quite a bit of negotiating with the front desk to get them to offer me a refund after I was double charged - "we'll refund your credit card, don't worry". Two weeks later and still waiting for the 130 pesos. Otherwise, it's a good hostel with nice people and great beds. Just need to put in a lot of effort to get your money back if they overcharge you.

Had a great stay at Casa Pepe, the hostel is very nice and facilities are great. Good location in the Historic centre. Especially Dani the volunteer at the hostel made my stay unforgettable, definitely one of the best volunteers I’ve ever seen at a hostel. She always tried to make sure everyone had a great time, was very involved and always helped you out!

Arrived and there was a sociable vibe. They run multiple activities everyday and we did the free morning walking tour to La Roma. This was great, enabled to see some of the city, learn how to use the buses/metro and we met some fabulous people. Most of us stayed out drinking after as a result. Our 6 bed dorm was clean and the bunks were great. They have privacy curtains and mini safe as well as a locker. However there was no fan or ac so the open window was only way to cool down. The location was superb and felt safe.

This is a great location, right in the centre of Mexico City (beauty city) a really nice vibe to the reception area and general hostel, we always felt safe. There are lots of social events every night, we went to Lucha Libre and it was great fun, the guide from the hostel was enthusiastic. We stayed in a 8 person dorm which was nice as we met new people, there are private lockers next to your bed and big ones for your luggage but you would need to bring a lock for both. The dorms also have curtains for privacy which was good. The reason why we have rated it 3 stars is because our food was thrown away when we were using the shared kitchen, around 300 MXN Pesos worth of food, it was labelled and the date of our check out date was on all the food too which was disappointing. The quality of the bathrooms were average, the photos showed a much higher standard, just a bit smelly and a lot of built up limescale. Overall, a good stay, I would recommend if you’re a traveller, just be careful with your food in the shared kitchen. I would also suggest to bring ear plugs because it is very noisy outside in the mornings.

I’m having a great time in Casa de Pepe. The Hostel is right in the middle of the Center and u can easily reach a lot of interesting places. I stay in a 8 bed dorm and the room is very clean. the curtains give u some privacy and every bed has a USB and electricista plug. The common areas look cool and i really enjoy spending my time there, relaxing, reading or chatting with the staff or other guests. The rooftop-bar is another Highlight. U can have ur breakfast there or some drinks in the evening. I really liked the margaritas and i spent a lot of money already on them. The Hostel offers a lot of free activities. I really recommend the free walking tour. It helps with the orientation, it’s a lot of fun, u can socialize with the other guests and maybe even make friends. The young lady Keran did the tour really well and was very Patient and welcoming to US. I felt like all the guests enjoyed it quite much and we had a really good time. Besonders the free walking tour there are a lot of other activities i would really recommend.

The dorm rooms were nice, as were the private rooms. However, I had a very negative experience staying at Casa Pepe. First of all, the water was always being turned off, meaning most of the time we could not shower or flush toilets. Secondly, my friend got a bloody nose which got on the sheets. After checking out I noticed a charge for $1422 pesos. I was not told about this and only noticed it when checking my transactions. Absolutely unacceptable. When I reported it, I was lied to and told that the receptionist notified me at checkout.

$13/night. Ive been to over 50 countries. Pepe has friendly & helpful staff (Cindy, Memo…) & the breakfast is supreme (eggs, quesadillas, sliced fruit, pancakes, cold cereal with milk) served at a rooftop lounge/bar overlooking Centro Historico. Beautifully restored colonial bldg with balconies. Elevator. Shower soap. Professionally designed interior. All you can drink Happy Hour for 50 pesos! Strong water pressure. Pro wrestling tours 3x week. Covid testing daily at Pepe with results emailed within 5hours (900 pesos). Some jerk in my room 250 took a dump onto the toilet floor right in front of the toilet. He didn’t clean it up . Just left it there. The stench. I was moved to room 140. There at 140 is party central because Pepe has no security guard and the receptionist is on the 2nd floor so even guests from neighboring hostels sneak up to Pepe 140 to party and barf all over our toilet until the roosters crow “cock a doodle doo”.

This is one of my favorite hostels I’ve been to. The beds are comfier than most, and the blackout curtains are a godsend. The bathrooms are pretty nice with great water pressure in the showers. The communal bathrooms are all private showers/toilets, which are actually nicer than some of the rooms bathrooms. The rooftop terrace has great food and drinks, and often have events to help you meet new friends. The buffet breakfast that’s included is pretty much the same everyday but with enough variety you don’t get bored. The location is super entrar, walking distance to the Zocalo and surrounding attractions. There’s a number of good restaurants, although you might find yourself Ubering to Roma Norte often for the best restaurants, cafes and night life. It is definitely a great place to meet other travelers who might become your best friends. Make sure you do the free walking tour and ask the front desk about the excursions. From cooking classes to hot air balloons, they make it easy to explore new things. On the down side, if you are sensitive to noise the streets do get pretty loud, especially early in the morning. Luckily they provide ear plugs that might help.

Having been to several hostels in different countries, Casa Pepe has been the best in many areas, service, activities, cleanliness, location, etc. The walking tours and power hour are a free or very inexpensive way to meet fellow travelers. I have been back several times. 100% Recommended

Nice location in the historical centre. Beautiful rooftop with a bar and people hanging out every day. Clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds with two lockers. Common space to work or chill and watch a movie. Only thing is, that that it's little bit pricey compare to other hostels

A good recommendation for travellers, short stays and offers tours in and around the city. Rates are fair, clean environment and good service. The terrace is wonderful with an array of drinks and cool music at night, with a DJ. Its strategically located, with many must-see sites within walking distance, eg the Zocalo square in Mexico City. Also many night-out spots are close by.. Highly recommended.

Love this hostel; great spot for mixed dorms or a private room. Great rooftop food & drinks and several activities to get to know fellow travelers. Located only steps from the zocalo, this is a great central location for staying in CDMX!

Overpriced and money grabbing hostel. I booked for 3 nights and paid $300+ USD. Unfortunately I had a family emergency arise and had to depart Mexico before I reached Mexico City. I informed the hostel and asked for my money back due to the circumstances and they refused. Absolutely appalled!! Don’t book here if you want to risk losing you money.

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at - in the world. This place sets a very high bar for Hostels and accommodation in general. There’s so many good things about it, they really know hospitality: -super comfortable dorms with full length thick privacy curtain -kept VERY clean -a very good, substantial breakfast -a great rooftop bar with pool (50 pesos all you can drink happy hour is unbeatable) -shower rooms in abundance, hot and high pressure -cordial staff -multiple social areas/hangouts -luggage storage manned by a security guard -AC -banging WiFi (even with many people remote/co-working and using the WiFi simultaneously) Also, fresh towels, bedsheets and swipe card key entry to rooms and robust lockers which you supply your own padlock for. I ended up staying here by accident but it was easily one of the best choices made, as a solo traveller, it was also very social. Location wise, right in The Historical Centre and walking distance from everything you need. The walking tour that leaves from here mid-morning is worthwhile doing as it gives you a good understanding of the area, architecturally important buildings, and general history of the area. If you stay here and they have the Immersive Theatre experience showing, (Animas: Dia de Muertos) then it is absolutely worth doing and you should not miss it. So much talent put together in the form of acting and dancing to bring an experience which you as the audience member is involved with throughout, the whole hostel is used as the performance stage.

Extremely helpful personnel, Miguel and Memo are very attentive and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Dorms are roomy, very confortable and clean. Location near metro and Azteca bank which gives the best exchange for money. About 10 blocks from a Mercado for vegetables, fruit etc. Friendly atmosphere plenty of areas to work online. Bathroom need a lot more attention like emptying the waste baskets, having soap and toilet paper. The night lady Aracely needs to be friendlier and more accommodating.

Loved my stay here, the atmosphere is the best, a great place if you travel alone and want to meet other travelers. Yes, it's a bit pricy, but definitely worth it! Free water refills available and the most comfortable beds and duvet cover I've seen in all of Mexico!

Awesome rooftop, hard to match in the city centre. Lots of activities, perfect for groups and solotravellers. The only thing they lack is a nice co-working. But if you don't care or need that. This is the spot you want to be at!

Just had one of the saddest and worst experience in Hostel casa pepe. If you just wanna feel like a cash machine this is the place for you. But if you are looking for humans and people that can help when you have a problem you won’t find any help here. The manager is a heartless person as the staff in reception. They clearly don’t have any degree in hospitality or Managment skills. They don’t know how to talk to people. Or deal with issues. Also read that I was not the first person to have the similar problem and didn’t wanted to help the person either. Is a bad vibe place. And also not that clean. They where so rude that I end up feeling unsafe. Run away dear backpacker if you heart belongs to the good side ;)

Awesome hostel facilities, friendly and chilled with nice staff. Great bunks with privacy screen, lamp, earplugs and charger point. Really clean, great WiFi throughout the hostel so is perfect for digital nomads. Awesome rooftop, and daily walking tours. Very central but safe location in the centro historico. Its definitely more of a boutique hostel than basic. Only minor points are the traffic on the street is quite loud from the dorms (but they give you earplugs), the walking tours aren't amazing but a good way to get your bearings nonetheless and I noticed there wasn't aircon or fans in the dorms (I might be wrong) so it could potentially get too hot in summer but in December it was fine. I really recommend this hostel. 5 stars!

Great service, really nice people. A good chance to meet other travellers. Casa Pepe has great breakfast and dinner options, and offers social days and evenings. The rooms are nice and the place is very clean

Amazing sheets, awesome vibes, great staff. I loved my time at Casa Pepe. It's an awesome atmosphere to meet people. There are walking tours, among other tours where you can meet people. There is an awesome rooftop restaurant that converts itself into a great bar at night. The lobby has a cool room where you can get work done or study. It also has a chill room to watch tv or play games. I felt perfectly safe, comfortable and had the most fun while staying at Casa Pepe. I only wish I could've stayed longer. I will be coming back.

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Pepe. The rooftop restaurant and bar had a great vibe, delicious tacos and friendly staff. Perfect place for chilling out over beers and chatting to new friends in the sunshine. I recommend going on the walking tour, particularly as a solo traveller, as I met a lovely group this way. Would definitely recommend for the sociable solo traveller.

Beautiful place including a very comfortable co-work/reception area and an amazing rooftop bar/restaurant/lounge area. They have a kitchen serving breakfast-dinner with a dj playing in the rooftop area in the evenings. Perfect place to find friends to explore and party in Mexico City with. Room was comfortable, water was actually hot unlike a lot of airbnbs around the area, and is quiet at nighttime. Highly recommend!

In my experience this hostel was far from excellent. The young staff at the hosted and the restaurant were poorly trained seemingly unhappy and quiet leaving me feeling a like I was not truly welcome or cared about as a guest. This accomo was ok beds good, showers good but the tiny kitchen closes at 9pm so you can’t get water or make tea. There are very basic things in the kitchen dull knives, only a few pieces of bent cutlery and no kettle or coffee making facility. The roof top is nice if you’re up to party with young friendly travellers. Works space felt dark and dull as opposed to selina, I do like the chill area though which is comfortable, mostly quiet and private. Over all I would probably stay at a selina as it’s cheaper and better. I do like the beds with privacy here though the rooms are packed with beds very little floor space. Average to poor in my overall experience. The best part is the door man he’s super nice and actually cares about the guests 2/5 stars. Can’t see that I would stay here again over other sports in town :)

I stayed at Casa Pepe as a guest and as a volunteer. I had one of the best times of my life volunteering and staying here and I look forward to returning one day. Volunteering experience: The work assigned to me was mostly fun and suited to my skills and interests. Everything that I had to do was clear, and if I had any questions to ask someone in the staff team was always willing to answer. Guest experience: The rooms are beautiful and well priced, both the shared dorms and the private rooms. The activities are great and encompass many different experiences. The bar is well stocked and a great selection of cocktails is available. The kitchen offers a wide selection of different meals, I didn't even manage to try even half the items on the menu the good few I did try were fantastic. As a tourist, the location was perfect, close to all the necessities as well as historical buildings.

Hostel is good. Rooms can be better. It is a fun place But it is way over priced The guy who serves breakfast repeatedly showed me bad attitude. I also lost a jacket on the roof People at reception were excellent

The crew lacks enthusiasm, the people at the reception have no initiative to solve problems, they just do as little as possible. the guides for the activities do not have the slightest idea of their work. Overall a poor concept of a very pretentious hostel, which is very well located in the center of Mexico City. It was an unsatisfactory stay and obviously I do not recommend it at all.

This was our first time staying in a hostel and it was a good experience! Since we are a married couple we got a private room and bathroom. The hostel is right in the city center. I didn't expect the food and drinks to be so good for a hostel. They had some really good options for breakfast, which is included in your room price. There is no A/C, so we mostly slept with the balcony window/doors open. Be warned: there is a lot of noise from the street and from the terrace as they often have music playing. Two downsides: 1) The confirmation email doesn't give much information about the room you booked; and, when I sent an email to the establishment to confirm, I didn't receive a response. 2) There was a small mix up where a new guest was given the wrong key and was briefly given access to our room, while we were in it. Although, it was resolved quickly and the staff came to our room to apologize, it's kind of scary to think what could have happened to our belongings if we weren't in the room at the time that someone else was given access. However, overall, it was a good experience, and we would return.
