👍👍 Cute coffee & pastry shop in the lovely neighborhood of Coyoacán. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, also a good tea/coffee selection. But the best are their cakes and pastries, by far. People often mention coffee, good, pastries, nice, cakes, quality, friendly, great,

The quality and taste of the dishes and moka coffee dropped considerably since my last visit 4 months ago. Wasn't able to finish the coffee. A shame.

One of the best kept secrets in Coyoacan! They have a lots of options for teas, as well as bread. We tried the Fig Toast w ricotta cheese which was pretty nice. They also have this lovely Lavender Cake which matches with Matcha Latte perfectly!! Its pet friendly and people are really friendly. Service can be improve, unfortunately, they only had one chef due to the contingency but other than that, it was 👌 Wheelchair accesible

Small, cozy spot in the heart of Coyoacan. Bakery is quite good, with croissants, cakes, pudding and some other specialties. Eggs are good but you need to really look for bakery goods. Tea is good but could use a little bit more attention in terms of brew times. This is a dog friendly place which gets a bit crowded in the mornings. Definetely worth the visit.

Great breakfast place for the Weekends in the heart of Coyoacan. It is recommendable to get there early since reservations are not offered and the place gets very crowded. Personnel is very friendly. Highly recommendable.

Cute cafe. I had an omelette and a cardamom roll, both were pretty decent.

The food is great but the service is pretty bad. They don’t remember to take your order, forget multiple things that you ordered, don’t bring things like water after asking 3 times, have to ask for the check multiple times... it’s too bad that such a great cafe creates such a bad experience.

Really good bakery. Their cakes and pastries are very tasty. They offer savory options such as salads and sandwiches. Their drinks are great too. Service is fast, specially to go. However it is kind of overpriced. The venue is ok, small, but the inside is cozy. A good option in Coyoacan.

It's an amazing environment and the vibe is really nice. The food is good and organic so a super friendly experience. The service could use more training. But in general a good experience

Small and cosy spot located in the heart of Coyoacan, this coffee place propose breakfast options as well as a variety of pastries. I can't speak for cakes/pastries that were overall disappointing according to the past reviews as well as the quality service/food over time. However, the breakfast there was above the average. The croque madame was tasty, the topped egg was runny and somehow makes it up for the lack of bechamel. The toasted bread added the extra crunch to the dish. A bit of salsa would have been a nice twist but no more salsas in stock. The Americano coffee was good, nothing to complain about. On the downside, the cake (with cloves I presume) was too dry and didn't seem fresh to me. The service staff was quick and efficient. However a smile has never hurt anyone. My take: Give it a try! On a sunny day, the terrasse is nice plus for this spot.

+ good food + Nice ingredients + Organic, vegan and gluten free options - small and crowded - quite expensive - menu just in Spanish - bathroom small and clean, but always crowded Well is a very famous place , always crowded but another sucursal is near in the Ave. Miguel Angel de Quevedo. Anyway this organic bakery is a interesting place , high quality ingredients and good flavor , but a little expensive , a sandwich is around $150 pesos or more. The drinks are normal but again a little bit expensive. Don't get me wrong the cakes and sweet bread are specially amazing but to be honest the reputation of the place is more popularity than real flavor. Conclusion: nice place to impress hippie organic date -_-

Loved this place! Came by recommendation & considering going back. I sat outside & the street musicians are a plus, just icing on the cake. I got a matcha latte, matcha croissant (so much matcha!) & the kuku sabzi. As an Iranian, I was so excited to see that & the Isfahan Croissant on the menu!!! The food was nice, the staff were friendly & the vibes were good. I enjoyed what I got, but looking forward to trying new items at this place! P.S. The cheese on top of the Kuku sabzi is still on my mind!

Great Cuban sandwich and egg sandwich. The bread (pan dulce) is amazing, the Turkish coffee, is very good. The only defect is the regular coffee (americano) it is really really soft. If you plan to come here on weekends, you have 2 options, arrive before nine (what I normally do) or be prepared to wait 30 mins or more. PS: Good vegan option are good as well

The pastries are excellent, and I particularly love the lassis. The only downside is that the service is way too slow. But as whole a nice place to go if you miss Levatine flavours such as cardamom, rose water, etc.

Amazing coffee and outdoor space. The pastries and carbonated drinks were awesome as well.

I come to Mexico a lot and after a few years I have my regular addresses where I love to go. One of these places is Café Ruta de la Seda. It says a lot that I still like coming here. I like the place a lot. I am a big coffee lover and I am always looking for the best local coffee bar. That's how I ended up here in the beginning. And yes, the coffee here is still delicious. Big mugs, a wide coffee selection and above all very tasty. Besides coffee, they also have many other drinks. I vividly remember the lassi, which was extremely tasty (lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices, and sometimes fruit). You can sit both inside and outside. Both places are charming and cosy. Outside you have a view of the green square. In addition, they also have a wide choice of cakes, pastries, breakfasts and sandwiches. In summary I would say everything is of a high quality.

Absolutely clean, quality, tasty flavours. Either of it is a beverage or the bread Chocolate cake was 100% chocolate, but it would not saturate your paladar And its " pan de muerto" Time, this is a place to try it!!

LONG WAITING LINE. My family and I went to this small cafe to have breakfast around 10:00 am, however by the time the hostess placed us in a small table it was already 12:00 pm. Truth be told, the food has a great quality despite the two-hour waiting and the high price of the food. If you would like to have breakfast in Cafe Ruta de la Seda I would suggest arriving one hour before you are hungry.

Great artisanal bakery. Coffee is not great but not bad either. My personal favorites are the matcha and dark chocolate cake and their matcha latte. Other great picks include their cardamom cinnamon rolls and their passion fruit cake.
