The jungle...Largest wholesale market for food in the world. Culturally great, catastrophically sad for management and abandonment of facilities.

Really good prices and quality of produce. A bit messy (just like most markets) and pretty busy.

Amazing market, but dirty, smelly, poorly organised. It’s an experience walking round such an enormous market.

Really good prices and quality of produce. A bit messy (just like most markets) and pretty busy with lots of people and dolly carts passing by so be very aware and awake. There was a lot of traffic in the parking lot so arrive early and be patient.

This is a huge market for retail and wholesale. Store owners buy goods for their stores. People bring backpacks, fill them out and take home by car or public transportation.

Review of the Mexico City Wholesale Market The Mexico City Wholesale Market is a **massive and chaotic** hub of activity that truly has something for everyone. You can find an incredible variety of food, electronics, clothing, and much more. It's a vibrant place where the energy is palpable, and the sights and sounds create an unforgettable atmosphere. One pleasant surprise was the **cleanliness of the restrooms**, which were reasonably well-maintained, adding to the overall experience. Visiting this market is a **must-do at least once in your life**. Whether you're a local or a tourist, the experience of navigating through this bustling marketplace is something you won't want to miss!

Amazing market, but dirty, smelly, poorly organised. It’s an experience walking round such an enormous market but don’t expect to want to sit down anywhere or grab a bite to eat. As a tourist you will be walking many kilometres and there is nowhere nice to sit. Amazing to see the amount of stuff here though. The toilets we went to were ok too

This place covers 246 hectares or 608 acres. This place feeds metropolitan Mexico City with close to 20 million inhabitants. There are producers, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers from across the country, handling fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, and more.
