This bike tour was a great value for the money. you got a great tour of the city, stopped to try about 7 different foods & got a history lesson along the way. If you want to get some exercise while you eat, have fun and learn about Mexico City this is a must do!

Probably the biggest splurge on excursions but one of my top 2 faves. The team of three people for a group of 12 was awesome. I felt safe, the bikes were comfy and it was rad to have a historian as one of the guides. English was perfect and teaching us some Spanish slang was hilarious and fun. I hope they offer rides to murals and art. I will be back again.. no, but seriously DO NOT EAT before you come on this ride. There's like 8 stops for as much food as you like. ha ha. Have fun!

We had an amazing time with our guides Elias and Isaac for the street food tour. I would highly recommend this tour (and plan to!), especially early in your trip if you are new to the city. It was our first time and we did this on our first day so it was a great way to get oriented in the city, and also get a real taste of the food! It's also a great way to get recommendations. We went to several of Elias' recommended places and they did not disappoint. We were able to try things we normally would not have been able to find ourselves. The bikes were comfortable and the pacing was totally manageable. We can't wait to come back and try their historical district tour!

What a way to experience the city! Go at the beginning of your vacation. What a great deal. We were so full and tried so many different foods. The guides were fantastic and kept us very safe biking on the streets. A must do!!

We had the best time experiencing Mexico City with our local guides Elias and Sandy (both grew up in Mexico City). They always made sure we were safe and experienced the taste of CDMX! Starting the tour with a coffee and our first course at their facility set the tune for the day. Best coffee and great way to meet the other people on the tour. The bikes are really comfortable and Elias did a great job explaining how we would navigate the city and shows us the signs he would use to guide us safely. After six more courses and 10 miles (which really were necessary to burn all the calories off) we ended the tour where it began with a cold cerveza and a tequila and talked about other secret spots to explore. Elias and Sandy made us feel like friends that they would show around their city and not at all like customers. I can highly recommend the experience! Thank you so for letting us experience your city!

This was an incredible experience!! Isaak was a fantastic guide, really knowledgeable and great fun to spend the day with. The bikes were comfy, well maintained and we felt safe and looked after all day. We ate the BEST and most DELICIOUS street food. Honestly 10/10. And you get to see all the best parts of Mexico City and learn about the history and anthropology of this great place. Do it!

I actually loved this tour so much that I came back to take it again. I would recommend this to any of my friends and cherished people as a great way to get in some local culture. The first time tour was Sebastian who was the best tour guide ever. Right from the start he was engaging, welcoming and astute to the best hidden gems Mexico City has to offer. We appreciated his humor and knowledge of history and culture. We were lucky to have a tour or just 4 so it was intimate and so special. The second tour was also amazing and Bellia, Sebastian and Andrew were our guides. With a group of 15 and as a solo traveler this time - it was just as much fun. The guides were by far the best part of the tour and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and having a great time. Will come back again for sure!

We took the Bike and Urban art tour. It was a great tour in every respect. Professionally done and even though riding bikes in Mexico City, everything was done to assure our safety and comfort. The information was interesting and our tour guide engaging. The small bite at the end , authentic and perfect. So delicious. We were so glad to have had taken this tour. It was a great way to get to know Mexico City. Highly recommended !!!!😊

This is a legit five-star review, as it was one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip to CDMX. Our guides, Elias and Sebastian, were perfectly suited for the role – kind, safety-conscious, and extremely knowledgable about the city, its history, and its cuisine. The bike riding is very low-key, so don't let that intimidate you if you think you're not a strong rider. We were able to experience things about the city that visitors often don't see.

Went on the tour with Sebastian on the day after arriving in Mexico City. Was a great way to orient ourselves and learn about the food and culture of this beautiful place. Loved all the food and history. Would highly recommend!

Really great tour with Daniel, a super way to see the city, take in the culture and most of all learn about & enjoy all the wonderful food that Mexico City has to offer. Felt really safe and well looked after cycling around. Would 100% recommend to anyone spending a few days in Mexico City!

We loved the Historic Center with Mural and Food Tour (despite the flaming hot day)!! Isaac and Daniel were fantastic guides…they kept us safe on the roads, were extremely knowledgeable, and so fun to talk to. Art, food, drinks, local culture - this tour has it all! Definitely book when you’re in CDMX, you won’t be sorry!

Highly recommend! We had a fantastic bike tour of El Centro. Elias is a cool guy who clearly loves his city and was genuinely happy to share it with us. He is very knowledgeable, answered all our (many!) questions about life in Mexico, and kept us safe on the roads. We tasted some delicious tacos that we would not have found by ourselves. The tour covers lots but it was at a comfortable pace, and finished off with a little mezcal. One of the highlights of our time in Mexico city. Thanks Elias!

Great experience! We did the Roma/Condesa tour and would recommend it. Everything we ate was amazing. We booked a morning tour fairly last minute, and the group only consisted of one other couple. I'm sure other time slots or different parts of the year will have more people, but we enjoyed the small group. Our tour guide, Andrea, was very cool and provided some good incites into the places we rode past, what we were eating, who was making it, etc. Following the tour, we were given a map of other recommendations in the area which was very handy. I felt very safe at all times due to Andrea's leadership and Mexico City's bike lane design. One note - The signage at the market wasn't very clear where to wait exactly, so we were a bit uncertain if we were at the right place.

Andrea and Elias were great leaders for our tour, the made sure we were safe and went over the rules of the road for bikes on Mexician streets. Andrea made sure our group stayed together and did not separate at traffic lights. Elias was a wealth of knowledge especially with Mexico's involvement in WWII. The political summary was very entertaining from the general population's point of view. Lastly, their menu and drink selection was very considerate. They made the entire tour, enjoyable and I will have no problems recommending them to others.

This is the best way to see Mexico City. We seen so much and the food was incredibly and we got to try so many different foods and drinks. Daniel was our guide and he could not have been more helpful and cool to talk with, he was brilliant. Honestly the best experience and would highly recommend.

We had a terrific experience on this tour. Our guide, Valeria, was very knowledgeable, friendly and chill. She took us to some really great historical attractions as well as some awesome food and drink spots including a local taco joint (delish!), super fresh juice spot and a very local restaurant with out of this world chilaquiles and mole. She also told us a lot about the history and culture, and was open to talking about any and everything we had questions about. We also saw a lot of great street art. This is a great way to see the city. Highly recommend!

Excellent food tour with tons of details about what we were eating as well as cultural information as well. Great amount of food and information. The tour guides were all super friendly and handled themselves incredibly professionally even when drivers got angry at our crossing. Highly recommend!

This tour was the highlight of my short visit to Mexico City. A beautiful morning of cycling, sightseeing and eating. A small group, giving a chance to get to know other participants and ask our guide all sorts of questions about Mexico. Our guide Daniel was excellent. Gave us time to wander as well as eat. Cycling feels surprisingly safe. And the final indulgence of beer and mescal leaves you feeling very good about life and Mexico!

We had a fantastic tour with Sebastien and Sandy of the Santa Maria la Ribera neighbourhood. This was our second bike tour with Bikes and Munchies and once again it was a wonderful experience. Our guides were entertaining and educational and very attentive to safe travel on our bikes. The food stops were each unique and delicious. Top marks and a must do when visiting Mexico City.

I hadn't ridden a bike in about 20 years, but still had a great time and felt very safe with our guide Elias! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and even managed to accommodate my vegan diet on all the food stops we had! Would definitely recommend this to any foodie that is visiting mexico city !

Had such a great afternoon with Andrew. He was super passionate about his city and shared some great food spots with us. Also gave us loads of tips for our trip! This really was the best way to start our Mexican adventure. Thank you, Andrew!

This was top two food tours I have ever taken and it was less expensive than others. We saw beautiful parts of the city and the food was tasty. Our guides Sandy and Andre were awesome. Both were friendly and knowledgeable….and Mezcal

Sebastian, Sandy and Andre where amazing tour guides. Very knowledgeable, fun and attentive to everyone on the tour. The bikes where easy to ride and the length of the tour was just right. I recommend not eating before the tour as there is more than enough food to eat. I did the tour alone and I felt very comfortable with the journey through the streets of Mexico city.

What an amazing way to explore Mexico City and learn about the city, food, culture, and people. Elias, Andre, and Sandy were friendly, informative, and did a great job making sure the tour was fun and safe. We ate some unique foods and learn a great deal about the history of various neighborhoods in the area. Would recommend this to everyone. The terrain is flat and an easy ride.

This was a highlight of our trip to Mexico City. Sebastian and Elias were wonderful guides — high energy, enthusiastic and fun. Sebastian ran traffic interference expertly and we felt safe on the streets when not in bike lanes. We saw new neighborhoods and ate fantastic food. Highly recommended!

What an excellent tour! The guides were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be around. The food was amazing and I was so full by the end that the cerveza and mezcal at the end was a nice treat. If you're in CDMX...do this your first as it will highlight the lesser known places. I highly recommend Isaac, Elias and Andrea for your next tour.

***Tip*** Book the tour on Sunday if you can. On Sunday over 100 KMs of streets are closed to cars in Mexico so as part of the tour you get to ride right on La Reforma, an amazing experience! ***Tip*** My wife and I took the Street Food with Friends tour with our wonderful guides Isaac and Sebastian. It was such a great experience! We learnt loads about the neighbourhoods that we rode through, and tasted some exceptional street food along the way! The other two couples on the tour were super fun and we formed a really fun bike squad. For the past 5 summers I've guided bike tours in Vancouver and as an experienced guide, I can tell you that you that this tour and it's guides are top notch. Paula the owner was amazing to deal with via Whatsapp to book the tour as well and even provided us a list of restaurants for us to check out in the days leading up to our tour. Make sure you book directly with Paula via their website. Airbnb/Viator/TripAdvisor all take like 20-30% of the booking fee. Support small business! Thanks so much Paula, Isaac, and Sebastian!!

We had an amazing bike tour today with Bikes and Munchies. Our two wonderful guides were Elias and Sebastian who took great care of us making sure we are very safe on our journey. They also introduced us to some great street food and a great market that we would have never found on our own. Our guides were very informative about the city and also history of Mexico. Both my husband and I recommend this tour to any one who likes biking and wants to try some amazing real street food in Mexico city. Goli and Mike

This is the only way to see Mexico city. Sebastian and Elias are true locals and real experts on both the history and the food. You go to genuinely authentic places and try lots of things off the beaten track, you'll not have better food or a better time in Mexico city. I'm not a big bike rider but the guys make it so safe for you, and I enjoyed riding around the beautiful parts of the city. I cannot rate the tour highly enough, just go and do it.

This is a great way to get a better understanding of the city for its navigation of the vecinos/colonies/neighborhoods, history, food, and great views. Stay alert they say but I felt safe the entire time, they make navigating traffic very easy. The guides are knowledgeable and have a great command of English and history. I highly recommend planning as an inaugural guide of the city. Thank you!!

Such a great time with Elias. He's very knowledgeable speaks English real well (which is hard to find) and knows his history. We have enjoyed this trip really much 🙏🙏

My husband and I have been taking bike tours in different cities every time we travel. We enjoy the intimacy and information they provide and this was no exception. We had Isaac as a tour guide for the mural and history tour. He was very informative, was able to answer questions, and set us up with some great pictures. Isaac was really able to personalize the tour experience for us and we enjoyed a great conversation with him afterwards. Our tour was only our group of 4 and that was awesome. However, I am sure a larger group would have gone smoothly as well. Other groups were touring at the same time, so I really appreciate their effort to keep our tour small and intimate. I chose Bikes and Munchies because I saw that it was a small business run by a couple. I always rather give my money to individuals than large companies. Also, smaller companies are usually more accommodating and Bikes and Munchies did not disappoint! I would return again for the foodie tour.

Our tour was wonderful! Knowledgeable and kind, flexible guide who made the whole experience special and meaningful. Oh and the food…. INCREÍBLE! I have been on similar tours in other cities and this one has been my favorite.

Elias was an excellent tour guide! We loved all his local and historical knowledge about the city. Very accommodating in terms of our needs with the bikes. Definitely would recommend this as the best way to see and eat your way across the city!!
