I came to this dentist for a root canal and crown. The procedure was extremely painful and cost about 1,800$. When it came time to actually put my permanent crown on the dentist was nowhere to be found. The dental assistant seemed too scared to go find the dentist so she just decided to put the crown on herself. The crown did not fit but she shoved it in anyway. Two months later I still can’t chew on the side of the root canal and crown and am still in pain. I got X-rays done on my own to see what was going on. The X-rays show that the root canal way done completely incorrectly. The cement used to glue the crown on is being pushed into my bone and gums. The whole procedure needs to be redone so I basically threw 1,800$ down the drain. I called the office to ask for a refund and was told to come in. I waited over an hour to meet with the dentist. They refused to give me a refund and wanted to try and fix it. How can I trust them to fix it when they caused such a horrible problem in the first place? This office is below the basic standard of care.

Yep. This guy is very bad. Slapped a filling onto a tooth in under 5 min. No face mask worn the entire procedure while elbow deep in my mouth. I had no pain going in to see him. Boy did it begin to hurt the next day when the anesthesia wore out. Waited for a week, pain didn't go away. Went to another dentist who found a void right under the filling that this guy just popped on top of the tooth. She fixed it. This guy's team will charge your card before they do anything to you. I was swiping the credit card with my mouth open in his chair to put that filling in where it wasn't even needed in the first place. I wanted to leave but didn't listen to that quiet voice of intuition in your head. And as some icing on the cake, a week later I still have a pending transition on my card for 200$ in addition to what I actually paid. They said on the phone - just wait, it'll clear. Lol. Good luck to everyone who enters that place! They are going to need it 😂

This dental office is extremely unprofessional. While the staff at the front were helpful and friendly, the main concern is the actual dental care you receive and mine was terrible. I had one cavity that needed fixing. I sat in the chair waiting for 40 minutes and finally the dentist came with no mask, music blasting in the entire office, and proceeded to very obviously rush through the fix. He seemed very impatient, did not update me on what he was doing, did not apply topical before the lidocaine—just terrible. It was uncomfortable and painful in a way my other fillings never were before. This was a new dentist for me so I had an open mind but I proceeded to have pain in the tooth for the following 2 weeks. I decided to go to a different dentist who took a new X-ray and showed me that while doing the filling he nicked the tooth beside it (and also said the filling was done very badly). I now need the filling re-done and a second filling in the tooth beside it that this dentist nicked while rushing through. I never leave reviews but seriously do your research before going to a new dentist this guy was the worst.

Terrible and dishonest place. After they receive the money (which they ask for in advance) they treat the customer poorly. The Dentist (if he is one) his work is not of quality and when returning for the guarantee they become offensive to the point that they ask the client if they do not like the work to go somewhere else. They are too friendly once they are going to receive the money and once the money is in the appointments are delayed or they simply say that there is no agenda. Site of great dishonesty. I do not recommend it. Don't waste your money there.

I would not recommend this dentist. He has a bizarre pricing schedule, and delayed a cleaning for 3 weeks which was already a month wait. I decided to go to another dentist which took me immediately and cost less.

Since I go there I feel like I am asking for charity because they treat me for a service that I pay for. They put many people in a day and serve in disarray. All the work on my teeth is poorly done, the dentist left me with a tooth larger than others and it doesn't look aesthetic at all. I have been through pain and suffering in this place and they have also wasted my time. I have waited around two hours to be attended to and I just want them to finish this job because I may have already paid for it but they did not recommend this place at all, they are not professionals.

I'm an exhibitor at the Miami boat show, popped a crown 1st day. Selected Astoria Dental thru Delta Dental Ins. What a find!!! Got me in last minute with their extended hours. Amazing kind staff, rock-n-rolled me right on thru. Literally, great play list! Dr. Lopez is the Best!!!

Dr Lopez is the best dentist I ever had. I moved to another city and I sorely miss how knowledgeable and professional he is. He knows how to do everything and when he fixes something it stays fixed. He has years of experience and mastery. I was never over charged.

Leyla, the cleaning dentist gave great customer service. She was very kind & honest about different suggestions regarding my teeth. Normally I feel as if the dentist is trying to gain more money, but she took the time to break down why its in my best interest to do the things she suggested so I could better understand. I’ll be back to see Leyla in 6 months.

I needed an emergency appointment. I was in so much pain. Thankfully Dr. Lopez took me right away. He came recommended by a close friend. I was really nervous. I have a huge fear of the dentist. Everything went well. All the pain is gone. Very happy with this dentist. Great personality as well.

I visited here while on holiday to Miami from the UK, it was an emergency and my Lopez was more than happy to see me. Overall everything went very well, they even whitened my teeth which was one of the best teeth whitening services I have had.

Dr. Lopez definitely saved the day!! My family and I are from out of state and were in the Miami area for my brothers wedding. We were leaving for a cruise the next day when my crown came off. Dr. Lopez came into his office at 8:30 at night, skipping out on time with his family to help me.
