We’ve been lucky enough to have been to Miami several times but never made it to South Pointe Park, it is well worth a visit. Plenty of paths to follow, Green paths, a playground for the children and an opportunity to see the boats heading towards the ocean. We loved heading out onto the pier and see the fish in the clear water. Highly recommended!

I visited South Point Park on a Saturday evening, in search of a place to watch the sunset. I was pleasantly surprised by the park's beauty and offerings. The park features long stretches of green areas, perfect for sitting, laying down, and soaking in the serene atmosphere. You can relax, listen to the soothing sounds of nature, and take in the breathtaking views. There are also water features, including refreshing showers for children to enjoy on hot summer days, although that might be a downside for those seeking a peaceful and dry experience. Additionally, there is a pier where you can walk and admire the picturesque surroundings. It stays open until sunset, attracting a fair number of people. Despite the cloudy weather during my visit, I still had a good experience and found a spot to enjoy the views. I took the opportunity to read my Kindle and take a leisurely stroll. South Pointe Park is easily accessible, as you can take the trolley from South Beach to reach it. Overall, I think it's a fantastic place to visit. While the sunset view on the particular day I went was hindered by clouds, I would definitely recommend returning for a better chance at witnessing a stunning sunset. I plan to revisit in the future and encourage others to explore this lovely park.

Beautiful waterfront park with lots of walking paths, green grass everywhere and a small playground. Some waterfront restaurants too, but definitely fancy ones. Perfect place to watch the sunset. There’s a pretty large parking lot but it fills up quickly. Download the parking app to pay for parking.

This is a beautiful park to have a nice day and look at the spectacular views. They have various amenities in the same place. You can find a Wet Playground for kids. Also have direct access to the South Pointe Park Pier. They have public restrooms and they were pretty clean.

Beautiful place and totally worth the bike ride to get to this South Pointe Park pier. We appreciate that there were security Personnel at the entrance to the pier. The area was safe and we were able to leave our rented bikes, locked up oh, so that we could walk along the full length of the pier. It was beautiful to see the hotel resorts to the North and the Beautiful rolling waves of the ocean.

Really pretty at sunset. Can walk along the water, watch the cruise ships come and go or just people watch if that's your thing. It was really nice just hanging out-despite the weird unofficial hipster dance practice that was apparently taking place. Other than that-would highly recommend!

Beautiful location right at the southern most part of South Beach. Definitely walk around or go for a bike ride around the pier and the Miami Marina. Beautiful views in all directions make this a spot that you don't want to miss if your in the Miami Beach/South Beach area at all.

We visited this park twice: once during the day to eat lunch and once for sunset. It's a nice park to visit during the day. There are good views and it's not crowded at all. Don't come for sunset. Parking is impossible to find. My husband ended up dropping me off because there is no parking because of crowds. It was a zoo. I didn't think the sunset view was that great and certainly not worth the being in the crowds. Enjoy the park during the day, skip it for sunset.

Amazing park near south beach! On a Sunday evening many people will gather there will be drums dancing and incredible atmosphere with beautiful views and cruise ships passing by! People are extremely friendly and you can bring your dog! Bring a blanket some snacks and drinks to enjoy the sunset and the park as well!

This park is very nice , relaxing very nice views but parking is terrible. On good days it fills up fast and gets crowded but if you combine the park with the Miami Beach Marina you will get a nice work out walk and stop by Montys for a drink of food. The park is kept clean and patrolled by Miami Beach Police.

I've been to probably 75 beaches. This was our first time here. It is probably my new favorite beach. It's not very crowded. The water is so clear and calm. There's no shells or rocks, just pure white sand. It was so beautiful here. Our 7 year old also enjoyed the splash park as we were changing in the bathrooms. If you're looking for a beach to go to and see this review, do yourself a favor and try this beach! I promise you won't regret it. :)

I highly recommend to go see South Pointe park at least once. Great views from the pier especially during the sunset (100% for sunset lovers). it opens up very gorgeous views for both beach and city sunset. At the park area you can find few restaurants and small snack shack. There is Childrens playground as well. Parking is a big hustle due to restaurants taking spaces for Valet.

Excellent place, perfect combination of beach and unique views of the bay of Miami. From the sand we see the buildings around the beach, a bridge over the sea with a panoramic view, to the cruises to the City of the Sun, from Florida a highly recommended place for vacations with family and friends.

Lots of relaxing green space right along the southern edge of Miami Beach. There is also direct beach access to a very wide and expansive beach. If you arrive at the right times, you can even see cruise ships leave from the Miami Port. Nice playground and a decent amount of shade. Great view of the harbor and marina. An ok view of downtown Miami, but I am sure there are much better. There is also a Pier to walk out on free if charge.

This is by far my favorite place to spend time in Miami Beach! The water and views are spectacular, the park is clean, and it is a great place to exercise or unwind or hang out with friends. I go at least once a week and recommend it to everyone who visits.

Amazing place to go to the beach, do photoshoots, relax. It’s very hectic and parking is limited (included valet) so arrive early. Also it’s a long walk from the parking lot to the beach, so have that in mind in a hot summer day.

If you are visiting Miami Beach make it a point to visit South Beach point. It's a nice area to see the Atlantic Ocean the city plus it has a small playground and a fun water splash for the kids to cool off in. Great place for a walk, lay on the grass, or read a book. Overall a relaxing place( I was there in the morning).

Really good park with scenic ocean and city views. There is a possibility to watch at cruise ships entering the port. Also it's a pleasant place to walk around in the morning.

Beautiful water front park to watch the sunset, picnic, exercise or walk your dog. In the evenings you can also see the cruise ships sail out of the port. Bring a blanket and relax under a palm tree. Beautiful place!

DC natives visiting Miami looking for a romantic sunset spot & hit the jackpot! Breathtaking views of the sunset, beautifully decorated park with resident cats (too cute!), restaurants and a cafe. Also direct access to South Beach and the Jetty Tower.

Most beautiful beach/park in all South Miami, clearest waters too. Enjoy swimming with all the fishes and manatees and if you're lucky you can spot baby squid pods. Don't miss out on a restaurant called Monty's that nearby!

Beautiful beach, clean park except restrooms were still closed when were there. Luckily they put enough porta potty nearby with a few minutes walk. We stopped by for lunch and had a great and relax afternoon there. Parking space is limited and it’s a paid parking lot.

The cleanest part of the beach is here in South Beach. If you're going to go swimming while in South Beach this is where you want to do it. Water is mostly free of the seaweed and you'll have spectacular views of the ocean.

Beautiful park and pier. Very relaxing to walk, jog or ride your bike. Breathtaking views of Fisher Island and the port of Miami. Good security on patrol. Not happy that restrooms were out of order and only port o potties available. This is a high tourist area, everything should be impeccable.

It's such a full of life beach! We visited during the holidays and it was so hot. We enjoyed it, swimming, good food and love walking around, shop, take pictures and people watch.

Situated right beside the South Pointe beach. A very popular beach. Located in one of the hotspots of Miami. The park is well maintained. Often crowded. Perfect for walking, jogging or take your pet for a walk. Looks even better when the lights are on at night. Perfect place to watch some of the magnificent cruise ships take off. There are clean washrooms available in the park. Well connected by public transports such as buses, trolleys and taxi services. A must visit place.

Was in the area and wanted a dog friendly park to roam around, Google Maps brought us here. To start, if you’re going to park in the lot patience is key here. I was able to find a spot but it’s tricky and a matter of luck. If you don’t want to wait and it looks busy, go somewhere else to park. The park is beautiful and has tons of fun areas to explore! There’s an off leash dog area, playgrounds, water features, and more. I’m not sure who enjoyed the afternoon more, me or the dogs!
