The
staff
were
well
trained
in
hospitality
and
people
management.
The
hotel
facilities
could
have
made
the
stay
pleasant
and
the
staff
more
outstanding
than
they
were,
but
this
is
not
the
case.
This
beautiful,
historic
Miami
Beach
building,
right
on
the
beach,
is
run
down
and
poorly
maintained.
The
carpet
was
filthy,
the
air-conditioner
blew
room
temp
air,
not
cold
air
which
made
the
room
humid
and
muggy.
The
window
would
not
open
to
enjoy
the
beach
breeze,
the
air-conditioner
run-off
flooded
the
balcony,
and
the
balcony
needed
a
paint
job
-
the
walls
were
scuffed
and
dirty.
There
was
only
one
elevator
working,
and
only
one
ice
machine
that
was
located
in
a
dark,
dirty
corner
of
the
7th
floor.
The
bathroom
was
adequate,
but
the
grout
was
dirty
and
the
tiles
and
outlet
covers
were
broken.
This
is
all
a
management
problem,
the
staff
did
their
best
with
what
they
have.
This
hotel
could
be
a
jewel
on
the
beach,
but
now
in
its
present
condition,
it
is
not
a
place
I
would
stay
at
again,
nor
recommend.
