Believe the reviews. Don’t give it the benefit of the doubt like I did. This hotel smells like weed 24/7 and they are fine with it. Cockroach found in room and they did nothing. Door in bathroom didn’t close , place is run down and dirty and the first night I was offered a room with a temporary air conditioner and no working light. This place is ghetto and trashy and not worth the stay. Only reason I didn’t leave is because they charged my card immediately upon arrival. Asked to speak to a manager on 3 occasions and it wasn’t an option. This is not a place for kids& Pool is filthy

The pictures posted on the website doesn’t do this place justice. It has been the worst looking hotel that I’ve stayed in. The entrance and their hallways smells weird. The rooms are old and rotting. The toilet looked like it’s breaking. The faucet and shower knobs seemed like if it had mold. We were switched to 2 different rooms because the first one smelled really bad. The second one had a visible air conditioning system and the toilet didn’t stop making noise and running water after flushing. The mattresses are old and dirty. I didn’t bother eating or using their pool because I didn’t trust it. It doesn’t deserve not a single star.

I gave them a star merely for the fact that their pool was nice and their location was great for the beach. Otherwise. Ugh. I don't think the cleaning staff know how to use vacuums. We stayed there two nights and the AC broke 2 times. I was nervous getting into the tub. I think that's black mold in the closet. The mattress had a huge brown stain on it. The breakfast buffet, while it had a nice variety of foods, also served stale pancakes and French toast that were actually difficult to cut with a knife. I would highly suggest spending a little more money and going somewhere else. This place should be gutted and rebuilt from ground up.

Perfect location, but they have a lot of room for improvements. The lobby smelled dusty and muggy, though they know about it and apparently they’ve been trying to fix it. Be prepared to do some exercise since all doors in this hotel weight 100kg. I don’t know why, but it’s super heavy to get any door opened, you really need to pull hard. Rooms and pool were perfectly clean with the exception of the bathroom: the paint was coming out of the roof, there was mold all over it, and the tub looked like it had not been properly cleaned for a while. There’s a microwave in the lobby. Not enough umbrellas in the pool area.

I will start with the view from the room was amazing. We arrived early and they happily stored our luggage for us. We were told to check back for an early check in. An hour later, shen I checked, I was told that there would be no early check in as all the rooms were booked and needed cleaning. At 3:45 I checked and was told nothing was available, so we went to the pool. Literally 5 minutes later we were told our room was ready. My wife went up to the room. As the elevator door closed, the front desk person told me to go get her because our room was broken. How is a room broken? We were given another room. The pool is great, as is the proximity to the beach. I’ll close with. The carpet was wet, the outlets were not even in the walls, there was a jagged piece of metal bolted into our bathroom floor, serving no function, except maybe tetanus infuser. I can add in that there was drywall dust and putty on the carpets. Before you book, be aware. This hotel will only serve to lower your future expectations.

I gave it a 1 star because the gym was nicely remodeled. The rooms are horrible. Old, dirty carpet. There was a stain on my mattress. Bathroom tub,floor and sink were terribly old. I sprayed Lysol everywhere. I mean everywhere. View from balcony was nice. In high need of remodeling.

Pros: Staff were considerate and nice, Close to the beach, easy locations for Lyft pickup Cons: The room had a terrible moldy smell so the AC had to be on at all times. Everything in the room became damp if it wasn’t on. None of the windows opened. Rust stains in the bathroom and the toilet made noise throughout the night. I would not recommend but the price wasn’t bad. Good if you plan on not spending much time in the room, but if you want a ‘nice’ hotel, look somewhere else.

The property isn’t in the condition. They don’t bother to let you know there doing construction. The elevators are rugged to ride. The door to our room was rotted over and my Boyfriend had to force it open with his shoulder. The actual room was gross. The bathroom looked like it had mold all over it. Faculty is not friendly whatsoever. The balcony door doesn’t stay open over well. Being a female I did not feel safe being in that hotel by myself. I just had surgery a week prior and didn’t didn’t feel clean to even sleep in the room. My boyfriend his brother and myself ended up leaving the hotel at 1am and went and booked another room at a nicer hotel for the fact this was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in. Very disappointing. Made our first bight being here absolutely miserable. I would never recommend this place to anyone. This hotel needs to be completely re done.

We booked our hotel room online since March of this year. Call the hotel on two occasions to confirm booking. Arrive at hotel in November and was told that our booking was canceled. No reason given! Now instead of paying the $90 per night that we initially book the rates were now $135 per night. One of the staff, a young male, was extremely rude. The hotel look like a roach Motel. Rugs in the hall ways look like they haven’t been change in one hundred years. Room doors was dirty, hall ways dark and dingy. My bathroom door was rusted and mold can be seen all around the edges of the bathroom. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALL HOTEL!!!

This place has a nice lobby but when we got to our room as soon as the elevator door open you can smell a very stinky old wet carpet it's smell so badly. It also smell like marijuana the hallway look very smoky. Our room actually smell like it too. I was scared of inhaling and getting high. It's just filthy Don't stay here if you don't have to. The bathroom is super disgusting, only one elevator is working and they will charge you a daily safe fee even if you don't use it. Find another place a little bit higher price so you won't regret it. They are suppose to remodel this place soon. It's a perfect area it's close to everything. They just need to hurry up and remodel this hotel. P.S. NO PARKING!!

Where do I start?! My fiancé booked a room with a balcony 2 weeks ahead of time, when we arrived at the hotel at 12 pm. We couldn’t check in until 3pm. And they didn’t have a room with a balcony available. So we took the room that they had available which was suppose to have a king size bed. It was 2 full size beds, the toilet was nasty, smelled like pee, the tub was stopped up, walls dirty and no fridge or microwave. Instead of the staff telling us they would have a room with a balcony ready the next day we had to ask. We ended getting the room with the balcony which was a little better than the first room. Still the tub was stopped up, toilet smelled like pee, walls were dirty and no microwave or fridge. The only good thing is the location, I don’t recommend this hotel and me and fiancé will never stay here again!

The staff were well trained in hospitality and people management. The hotel facilities could have made the stay pleasant and the staff more outstanding than they were, but this is not the case. This beautiful, historic Miami Beach building, right on the beach, is run down and poorly maintained. The carpet was filthy, the air-conditioner blew room temp air, not cold air which made the room humid and muggy. The window would not open to enjoy the beach breeze, the air-conditioner run-off flooded the balcony, and the balcony needed a paint job - the walls were scuffed and dirty. There was only one elevator working, and only one ice machine that was located in a dark, dirty corner of the 7th floor. The bathroom was adequate, but the grout was dirty and the tiles and outlet covers were broken. This is all a management problem, the staff did their best with what they have. This hotel could be a jewel on the beach, but now in its present condition, it is not a place I would stay at again, nor recommend.
