We stayed in a fairly priced condo here for a week. I will start with the Good, lobby is very nice and there is Always friendly security at the desk. There are three main elevators that were all in working order while we were there. There is also another beach access elevator more in the rear of the building that helps alot with getting to the beach. We had an ocean view room and it was an amazing view. The balcony was nice however there was no full divider between us and the neighbors so we could see, and here each other, and the upstairs neighbors. The plumbing and hot water worked well. The unit itself could use very little updates. Like many others have said the carpet in the hallways is very dirty. Having to get security to let us in the gym was a bit of a pain. Now for the HUGE problem here,... The Valet. They make u valet park your car but it's a mess. It takes forever and inside the parking garage is very crowded. Our car actually got hit and they just kept telling us sorry we don't know and garage too full, as if that was a liable excuse. They tried to tell us all the cars were in a spot at first but we went in to see how they parked it and that was not the case, which is why it got damaged. Security guard told us valet has always been an issue.

The condominium is very well located. The beach is next door. It has a swimming pool and gym. Friendly and diligent employees. The person who rented us was always attentive. The valet people were always friendly. If you are looking for location and beach. This is a good option!

My family and I booked a week stay here at the pavilion for roughly $300 a night. A couple days in, the entrance ceiling to the room started leaking. Grabbed a trash can and let it drip away. Staff was notified but did absolutely nothing until the next morning he opened and closed the air vent and said everything was okay. Shortly after the ceiling caved in and everything poured out left a huge mess on the floor. I took pictures of when the leak started and after it caved in. Long story short we cant use the A.C and have to open windows for air. Its 90 degrees in Florida so thats not exactly what we want to do. Currently working on getting some compensation of some sort. Even full refund for the inconvenience it has caused my family and I my 2/yo daughter was in the room with me when it caved in and luckily we were a good 12 feet away. I would like to be contacted by the owner of the Room #719.

The person who rented us the apartment never said that on the 15th floor where we were, they were renovating all the hallways and there was dust, the smell of paint and plaster, and the floorboards were super dirty. In the kitchen, all the cupboards when you took something out of there had a horrible musty smell, paying $150 dollars for cleaning is not fair when the oven was covered in aluminum foil and full of pieces of food from previous people, the air conditioning vents It was constantly dripping, making the floor wet and you had to watch where you stepped because you would slip. It is a beautiful place because of the beach, super wide and without sargassum in July of this year, but it does not justify that the rest is bad.

DON'T DO YOUR READING HERE the adm and the front desk will be on duty to block permits, fine you and take money from you month after month, they only work against the owners and tenants you will have a bad time bad bad I assure Starting with the resentful, bad-tempered older Argentinian gentleman ending with the entire adm. Don't do anything here, don't fall into the trap

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place. The building is under constant renovation. From 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. there is constant drilling in the walls, which interferes with normal conversation. The temperature in the halls is 60F - very cold. The staff constantly surveils guests and watches them on cameras, pointing out every violation of the regulations - a family member with whom I was on vacation walked 2 meters through the corridor without a shirt, for which he was immediately fined $100 without warning. Additionally, the staff accused us of destroying the elevator when we were trapped in it and only wanted to open the locked door (it took 10 seconds, but the watchful eye of security noticed our "vandalism").

Great location, but the construction across the street really infuriates...

We've had the good fortune to live in two different units in the Ocean Pavilion on Collins Avenue. Our first was a spacious and impeccably decorated 2b/2ba on the 10th floor. Unfortunately for us this beautiful gem was sold by the owner or we would still be there. Now we are in a seasonal rental 1b/1b/1hb on the 14th floor which has its own array of charms. The views from both units cannot be beat!!! The sunsets over the intercostal waterway and the city are truly awe inspiring. The beach is just an elevator ride away. Once you exit the Mezzanine level to the pool deck you are gifted with a spectacular vista of the Atlantic Ocean and the sparkling sandy shore. The staff is always helpful and professional. We're going to be sad to leave this incredible place. If you ever get the chance to call Ocean Pavilion home even for a short while don't pass it up!!! I know we'll never forget the wonderful times we spent in this piece of heaven on earth.

Beautiful views of ocean. Our apartment we're staying in is lovely, with a balcony overlooking the beach and pool. The interior halls are a little dated, but nothing too bad. The staff has been extremely accommodating and kind.

Located in mid beach in a prime but more chill area of Miami South Beach. A renovated building that still has that musty smell of old, like wet carpet... And valet only parking. The place has a historical feel with a granite entrance and a spiral staircase along with a grand piano. I honestly would say it's a 3.5 star because the view on the 8th floor facing the ocean was and is beautiful. They have a private beach access with a shower to rinse off the salt from the ocean. Elevator access and A/C blasting in the hallways. Not many other amenities that I know of and a security guard in the entrance for added security.

The entire top of the hotel is under renovation, drilling is being carried out from morning to night. There is full surveillance in the building - you can get a ticket for many non-obvious things, our every move there is monitored 24/7.
