Nasty. Dirty. We had little choice as we waited for our room so we came in at 10:39am and they gave us a breakfast menu with all egg and gluten options which didn’t accommodate allergies or preferences —we asked for chips and salsa as we wait until they began lunch at 11am and were told it was unlikely and if we wanted to wait for lunch we would be waiting until 11:30 because the kitchen needs time to completely turn over…even though it says lunch begins at 11am. Our chips finally arrived at 11:08am. So apparently accommodations of even the simplest form are unacceptable as it took 29minutes to open up chips and give us a bowl of salsa they clearly offer and serve for breakfast. The floor and bathroom were unacceptable in terms of cleanliness. We will not revisit this restaurant or the attached hotel - Marriott Stratton.

We ordered some burritos, nacho’s as well as some local drinks! They taste very well, but portions are small, like, I could easily east 3 burritos.. Hence the reason why not a 5 star. The waiters are toooo kind ❤️

Very cool spot near to the beach! The entry is next to the Starbucks and maybe not that easy to find but definitely worth trying it! Around lunch time this was one of the only restaurants that was not overwhelming full of guests. Very friendly staff who answered all questions. The food was delicious and well made! A cool spot and definitely worth trying it again !!

Was staying at the Stanton and you get drink coupons for this place so stopped by. Frozen margs weren't bad but that was about it. We ordered chips and salsa and the Lolo's fries. The chips and salsa was $8 and came with about 12 chips that were boarderline stale and the fries were not bad french fries but they didn't come with the salsa fresca as described on the menu and we're really nothing to talk about. The server was nice but not didn't seem to know a whole lot about the menu or the drink coupons. It also too probably at least 15 min for the food to come out which is crazy for some chips and fries.

Bright and colorful dining room yet comfy and cozy at the same time!! Fun decor and delightful staff. Drinks were yummy and food was authentic and delicious!! Gratuity is included in your bill at 18%. We enjoyed it and encourage vacationers to stop in for a yummy light lunch or a full-on Mexican dinner.

Loved our tacos choices, they were so good. Happy hour is very limited; not worth it for food, but is is on drinks! Very good service as well. Cute spot, good recommandation for mexican food

My top contender for the "Worst "Mexican" in Miami! Seriously bad. This sad shrimp burrito had **cold** shrimp inside. Apparently 30s in the microwave wasn't enough to get it to room temperature like the rest of the burrito. I won't know if I'm gonna die for another 48hrs, wish me luck! Those plain stale tortilla chips sure are enticing. I hate flavor. Adding insult to burrito injury, they don't serve Mexican food with salsa or hot sauce!?!?! No basic condiments like hot sauce or salsa unless you ponny up more $$$ Has anyone at this restaurant had actual Mexican food before?? I'm surprised they didn't have a dude in the toilet charging for toilet paper... Now there's an idea! And if that wasn't enough, they charge mandatory 18% gratuity for the "experience". Do yourself a favor, skip this one.

Drinks was terrible, atmosphere is old, tacos is rated 1 out of 5. Chicken quesadilla was good. I would not recommend. So, many better options for your money.

I had my breakfast included with Marriott, had to go back to the front desk to get my Marriott points instead of the free breakfast. Believe me you’re better off going to Pink for your meals just a block away. Today was the icing on the cake. I had a 45 minute wait for 2 eggs & toast. The service was so terrible that my 1 star does not do it justice should be less than that.

great place for local tacos and margarita. Service is super slow. We liked that they offer service to the beach, as we relax after a dip, nice to get food and drinks delivered. pricey though for the quantity, but on the other hand every place in the miami beach area is pricey 😀

During my stay at the Marriott Stanton South Beach, I had the convenience of being connected to this restaurant, which prompted me to give it a try for drinks due to its proximity. On my first visit, I was immediately impressed by the restaurant's cleanliness. The staff was not only welcoming but also provided swift and efficient service, making my experience hassle-free. While the drinks were decent, it was the exceptional service that left a lasting impression. The following day, I opted to enjoy my drinks on the beach, courtesy of my hotel's beach access. Sipping on pina coladas served in coconuts was a pleasant experience, although the drinks themselves weren't particularly remarkable. Once again, it was the consistently excellent customer service that shone through. While I didn't have the opportunity to sample the food, I can confidently recommend this establishment based on the outstanding service I received. The proximity to the Marriott Stanton South Beach and the consistently friendly staff make it a worthwhile visit. I certainly plan to return the next time I'm in the area on vacation.

Had the most amazing time here at Lolo’s! My mom was in town visiting and we were looking for a lunch spot during our beach day. We went in an our bartender Megan was quick and super helpful! She made the best drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great drinks and awesome service.

We had their churros for breakfast and they tasted amazing. They usually only offer churros as a dessert but they made an exception for us and it was really appreciated.

Tacos are really good! Rocks and salt margarita is better than the frozen lime Margarita. Service is a bit slow. Steak tacos were the best of what I tried. Ordered Mexican street tacos twice while at this hotel.

Very yummy tacos! Only annoying thing was they charge for chips though and bring hardly any… we ordered two $5 chips and salsa (with not very big of salsa bowls) and had to pay $2 for two extra sides of chips each, just to finish the salsa (so $9 for each chips and salsa order)… just seems odd to charge in the first place if you’re not providing enough chips to even get halfway through the salsa! Guac was good and lime-y but pretty small portion for the price

Solid experience! Nicely decorated place with reasonable prices. We went for the happy hour, and their drinks and food were both delicious. Drinks were perfectly strong, and food was fresh

5 stars! Food is always delicious, service has usually not been so great. But thanks to our attentive and fast waiter Ronnie, today’s experience at Lolos Surf Cantina was amazing! Thank you Ronnie!
