If you’re thinking about staying here, DO IT!!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful - from the lobby to the room - every part of The Savoy has amazing decorations!! The pools were our favorite part - it felt like we were in paradise!!! The service was also exceptional - every single person we talked to was helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was also incredible - the fries are a must have. We loved our room - it was exactly as pictured and described!! The pink mural wall was my favorite part. One minor thing was that we could hear noise above us late into the night. Other than that, everything was amazing!!!

Fell completely in love with the Savoy. Everything from the eclectic, classy, vintage lobby, to the amazing 2 room suite- which was perfectly nerdy in the best way. There are books everywhere, classics, true crime, even Harry Potter. Even the bathroom, which was modern, still felt somehow antique. The pool bar was great, Wallace (the bartender) was wonderful and made us feel very welcome and very much at home. The pool itself was refreshing and surrounded by beautiful greenery, outfitted with multiple areas with loungers and chairs. But the best part was without a doubt the beach experience. Beautiful clear blue water as far as the eye could see. Guests had free access to loungers and umbrellas. There was a waiter on hand all day serving drinks and food. The menu provided a wide variety of options. Burgers to Sushi and everything in between. So no need to cut your beach day short. I hope to make the Savoy a yearly home away from home.

This is truly a gem. I did intensive research regarding hotels in this area which were both fun and kid friendly. This is it! The staff is so very welcoming and friendly, the food service by the pool was fast efficient and tasty. My family loved the beach side service and attentiveness. This is the best experience I’ve had in Miami and we will return very very soon.

Beautiful hotel Disclamer: I do not really use the pool there. Im too strange. The people there are really chill. really cool art deco hotel right next to all the action , shopping and fun of south Beach. They offer two acres of private grounds with a tropical courtyard, lush gardens, and two iconic pools with an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean and one of the nation’s most beautiful beaches. I snuck in there to get a capuchin from there awesome coffee bar. The staff are always nice and accommodating. George is awesome and a real gentleman. We decided to do a review for them puppy and kitty style. So we seek in the back and sit and one of the meny tables at this tropical oasis. It was so peacefull a nd relaxing. We had been at the pride event all day. I decided it would be fun to jump in there pool. The pool manager comes over and tells us we have to go. We never warned them we were reviewing. So we agree to leave. But first we wanted more photos. We acted like we were leaving but we just kept taking more pictures and I went back into the pool with a Jason mask on. The manager was a real good sport. We hope you enjoy the photos. The savoy is a really spiritual place with real cool professional staff. If your staying in south beach, I'd really recomend staying there. Tell em kitty sent you.

We visited The Savoy on a VIP Day Pass (a little over $100 per person, includes unlimited bottles of water, beach & pool lounge chairs, pool access, an entree & a cocktail) & had an excellent time. The service was great (Camilla helped us by the pool), the beach chairs with cushion were comfy, and the pools were great. We spent about 6 hours there between the beach, the pool & eating lunch poolside. We had the salmon mango salad (simple but delicious), the pressed sushi (amazing) & a dragon roll. Highly recommend if you’re staying in the area and want a relaxing beach/pool day with great service!

The location is the best thing about the Savoy Miami. Steps from the beach and in the quietest section of south beach. Everything else is ridiculous. also the website says they serve breakfast and they don’t. And depending on who you ask the poolside food starts at 9 or 11. I’m shocked at the “the staff was great” reviews. My experience is that the staff could care less. Examples: getting coffee in the lobby and asked for cream and get told “they only provide black coffee ma’am” 😮 the next day… there was NO coffee. The bottom sheet on our bed didn’t fit. I asked for one that fit. The brought another.. that didn’t fit. Literally just lays on top the bed and slides around so the mattress is exposed. I asked to have the coffee in the room refilled and cream brought. They didn’t. I asked at the pool if we could rent a cabana and was told to go online and do it. I said “can’t you do it here?” She said “at the front desk”. The front desk said “at the pool”. The room had one wash cloth. The bathroom had no hand towels. I sent an e mail to a manager about the state of our room and got no response. Apparently no one is running this circus. My hubs and I just called the Savoy “the place that gives zero s@$t”

It is a beautiful clean hotel and the location is great ( close to restaurants + beach). There is also a private access to the pool and beach and you can use their beach chairs. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Mirela upgraded our room to a suite room which was amazing and we also had a 2 balcony and 2 bathroom with a nice view. My friend and I expected for the price ( $672 from Friday to Sunday) a better breakfast area or at least more choice in the room. We only had access to a small coffee machine with only one cup a day. We were also surprise to see that there is a pool fee which we did not pay because the pool was closed due to bad weather. However, I personally think that pool fees should be included in the price. Other than that, our experience was nice and the savoy hotel is a nice place to stay for a weekend. Just make sure to ask for an confirmation email when booking. We never received ours ( we checked our spams too) and heard that other guests didn’t receive theirs either.. just for safety!

We had a wonderful stay here this week. Beautiful grounds, attentive staff, clean rooms, and great food! It was very quiet and relaxing with plenty of loungers and umbrellas for all guests. We can’t wait to go back again next year! There is construction noise that starts at 8am on the building to the South but I imagine that’s temporary.

Though I did not stay at the hotel I was a day guest enjoying the pool and beach for a few hours one weekend. What I can say is that this was the perfect place to wait while my flight was delayed. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere all perfect this place had it all. The beach area was clean the attendents there were on it at all times making sure I was comfortable, shaded, had a drink, had food I loved it. After a while I ventured into the pool area where the attendants there were equally as attentive making sure I had a drink, I had food and I was comfortable. When it was time for me to pack up and go this place had a area to shower, to store my luggage and to change all very private and secure I will be back here for a full stay.

Disappointing stay! Visited for 2 nights. One of the many additional charges you will pay will be for parking. BE VERY CAREFUL about the valet - I had left $107 in my car to use some as a tip, but it was gone when my car was returned. The hotel blames the parking company and the parking company told me to kick rocks since my dashboard cam wasn’t on. In addition to being stolen from - the pool was pretty disgustingly dirty. It’s also weird that it doesn’t open until 9 and they don’t open the beach area until 10 - strange for being on the east coast. Also, there was music BLARING both nights until 3am from inside the hotel. Security won’t don’t anything unless you ask. Not an enjoyable stay unfortunately. Definitely don’t leave your stuff in a place to be stolen there. Good luck.

Very nice place. We bought the Daily Pass to stay at the pool and at the beach: 75$ (get a free drink). Staff is very polite and open to help. Hope to get back soon. The valet is the same price and leaving the car parked on the street: $20. I suggest using the valet.

Best location, beautiful rooms, and great balconies. But, the best part about this hotel is the location and the beach club. The pools are beautiful, great vibes and music, really good food and drinks. Just love everything about this hotel! The floors are pretty loud because there are wood floors throughout the hotel, but it is worth every bit of noisy floors. Love love love this place and can't wait to go back!

The Savoy hotel and beach club are by far the best spot in Miami beach. Chill, relax vibes with the best customer service in Florida. It’s a must while in South Florida. Amazing music all day by the pool which has bar and a direct exit to the ocean. The staff is absolutely outstanding, anticipating every one of you needs. George, the manager goes above and beyond and together with team members like David and Tiffany would make your stay an absolute amazing experience.

We had our son’s 20th birthday party catered by The Savoy. The venue was beautiful and had a spectacular ocean view overlooking the Miami Beach boardwalk, and nature added a wonderful gentle breeze. The great view was not the only thing that pleased us and the guests very much. Our special needs kids and young adults enjoyed a wonderful evening dancing and eating lots of delicious food and desserts. They all had a great time — including the parents. The servers and bartender were also excellent in attending to the guests with their drinks and cleanup. We received numerous complements from our party guests which showed that we were not the only ones who shared the same experience. We were happy and most importantly, the guests were equally so. In fact, some are strongly considering hosting their future events at The Savoy as well.

PLEASE READ. Out of all the beautiful hotels in Miami, this is by far the worst one. For the same price, you can have a MUCH better experience. The customer service at this hotel is beyond awful. The lobby smells, the rooms look nothing like the pictures. They did not help with our bags upon arrival. There needs to be a major remodel. This establishment is dated and dirty!! I requested a refund due to a family emergency, and their management refused to respond nor assistant. Charged me an additional $300 after not being able to stay. I would not feel comfortable coming back after the way I have been treated. Miami is my favorite place to vacation and have NEVER been treated so poorly. PLEASE find a nicer hotel to stay.

We purchased a day pass here for a beach cabana. Very nicely priced, the setup was awesome, they secured our luggage so we could enjoy the day. Denzel and Arwin went out of their way to be helpful. Very relaxing, great amenities, had food and beverage service on the beach. A great experience... Highly recommend!!!

We were here as our friendy stayed here and they invited us to hang out in the pool area and the beach. We were waiting for them in the lobby and love the art deco decor along with the colour scheme. The security struck up a friendly conversation with me and I appreciated while I was waiting. Great overall boutique hotel feel and the garden and pool area feels a bit like an oasis. Direct access to the beach was nice and lots of lawn chairs and umbrellas available for hotel guests. Looks like a great place to stay.

The rooms are amazing. The location is perfect for south beach. If you go to the pool ask for Iska. She is a fantastic server and has a very nice personality.

The hotel and beach club are amazing with spectacular views and easy access to the beach. I enjoyed some of the tastiest cocktails poolside on Saturday with some friends. There are an abundance of cabanas and day beds with two pools with servers that attend to every need(towels, food, etc). The ambiance was relaxing and fun. The bartender was awesome getting the cocktails out quickly. The manager, Jorge, was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make my friends and I feel welcomed.

Denzel was the star of our stay. He was so helpful and accommodating. Location is impeccable. Pools are so convenient, though they need more care. Service on the poolside was also great. Couldn’t get their names, but the workers were very attentive and smiley. Helped with towels within seconds of arrival every time. During our visit, it was a long weekend but it was never crowded or uncomfortable. It’s right next to the beach. They also provide beach umbrellas and towels etc. nearby there’s lots of pharmacies, Pura Vida, and Big Pink. The rooms need some tlc. The furniture shows wear but still comfortable. One con was the elevator. It was very old and it looks like the latest inspection had expired, so it was a cause of slight concern.

This was such a disappointing stay. I had one night in Miami for my birthday and wanted to stay at a great hotel, and unfortunately picked this one. We got there around 2pm and checked in, our room wasn’t ready yet so they let us know we could “enjoy” the facilities while we wait for our room. The facilities were the pool and bar. The hotel was hosting an engagement party and the pool was overran with people, half of which weren’t even staying at the hotel. I then went to go get a drink at the bar and waited 45 minutes to get front in line, and then when I finally did, the bartender assisted the party goers and a new line started at the other side of the bar, which led me to just walk away. We finally got into our hotel room at 4:15pm, the chairs on the beach are shut down at 5pm. So we got 30 minutes total beach time. All in all, service was not great. For the $700+ we paid for our room, we were extremely let down and won’t be back.

The Savoy is a lovely place to stay and a great value. The courtyard, pool area and beach club are a highlight, very beautiful. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable and luxurious with crisp sheets. The balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool was a plus! The staff was nice. There is a convenient parking lot directly across from hotel if you opt out of valet. The pool could use some attention. It had algae growing throughout it and many areas with missing tiles. It appears to need some cleaning and repair. Nonetheless it was enjoyable and pretty.

My wife and I stayed one night after a cruise because our flight was the next day. Cannot recommend Savoy highly enough. The only downside is the fitness room is very small and not well equipped. Other than that, everything is top notch. Cesar at the front desk is an absolute pro. So kind, accommodating, and approachable. He got us checked in extremely early - we were expecting to drop our luggage and wait, but we were in our room before noon. I realize that depends on a number of factors but we were so happy it worked out for us. I have no idea if it was an imposition at all because Cesar consistently offered us the best service possible in any way he could. Maybe the room was just available, maybe he moved mountains. No idea. It’s just Cesar being Cesar. The room was gorgeous. We hardly wanted to leave, but when we did, the poolside and beachside service were likewise top notch. We ordered sushi and drinks at the pool and it was all fantastic. We were there on a weekday in October, so I can’t say what it’s like on a weekend, but it was very quiet during our stay and the pool had a serene, relaxing vibe. We also hit a couple of restaurants within walking distance, and rented city bikes to ride along the boardwalk. No need for a car. On check out day, Cesar managed our luggage while we made the most of the pool and beach club between checkout and our ride to the airport. Again, the room itself was gorgeous. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

This was a fantastic hotel. It's a small boutique place but it makes you feel like a 5-star luxury place. Great location, clean super nice rooms, amazing pool and pool area with bar, amazing food and drinks, perfect beach access with umbrellas, chairs, food/drink service at beach, and kind staff. Only issue- wish they would give bigger body wash soap bottles, they are pretty small and end up going through one a day. Definitely recommend this awesome hotel!

Amazing amazing amazing spot!!! The rooms are huge. And very clean they didn’t have decaf and the manager brought me coffee in the morning. !! a+ Will definitely be back. They even accommodated a late check out. My only complaint is that the lobby feels a little bit cold -(needs curtains or something) and the pools need resurfacing the outdoor looks a little deserted and the crows bathing in the pool was GROSS.

Our family of 5 enjoyed this charming hotel. The staff was welcoming and accommodating when we arrived early. Denzel was able to check us in early and made us feel very special. We enjoyed the beach and pool. The poolside bar is small but quick and the food was fine. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of more of the amenities nearby!

Just got back from 5 days at the Savoy Hotel. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. What really sets the Savoy apart is the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful especially George Fuentes at the front desk. He is professional, warm and accommodating. He even bandaged my foot after I cut it on the beach! Beyond the call of duty! I highly recommend The Savoy Hotel.

My experience here at the Savoy was incredible. All the accommodations are suiting and so so cute. They have a very nice and peaceful pool area with a bar, as well as a beach area with chairs; food and drink service at the beach as well. I specifically want to mention my server Arwin who was excellent, the manager George is always ready to help and make your stay as best as possible. Highly recommend if you want a nice boutique stay with incredible accommodations.

Very nice and friendly hotel! I wished we would've stayed here for a couple more days. The outdoor area was beautifully decorated, plenty of outdoor seating and loungers. It would've been perfect for our group. We didn't really hang out around the pool, mostly on the beach. Ordered chicken wings and fries on the beach, portions were larger than expected and fresh! I loved the location, it was walking distance from all kinds of food spots and near all the pre-cruise shopping we needed to do. Another plus that it wasn't loud during our stay (was a little nervous since it's south beach). I hope to stay here again! Service could be a little better: 1. I think staff could do better with taking orders on the beach. We waited for a while to order food & drinks, and tried to flag down the workers a few times and we weren't seen. Started to think we had to go to the pool bar to order. 2. We also ordered 2 smoothies for room service in the morning, and it took more than hour.. 3. Each time we ordered from the pool bar, beach, & room service there was confusion about where to charge. We mentioned each time to NOT charge the room (my card), then even gave my husband's card to make the payment. Still charged to the room..

Love this Hotel! Stayed in March 2023. The Beach and the beach access is fantastic and so is the beach club. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and lots of places to sit and lounge. Lots of staff serving drinks and food. The food is good and prices are decent. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the only thing I felt that there needed to be is a desk with chair so you can use you laptop and would have loved a rug under the bed for coziness. Otherwise will definitely be back 100%!

The staff is what makes this hotel so great. It’s in a great location close to restaurants and nightlife but just enough off the beaten path that it still relatively quiet. The pool area is a great place to sit and relax have a drink and something to eat. George at the pool area goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you could need to make your stay a memorable one. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels in Miami and the Savoy gives you the old world charm that between that and the staff make it stand out.

My friend and I stayed at the Savoy for a girls weekend. The staff was amazing from the we checked in to the moment we left. We spent a day on the beach and were provided with excellent service which included drinks and the best breakfast quesadilla I’ve ever had. We moved from the beach to the pool where the poolside staff was attentive and very kind. The room was very clean and was serviced daily which we appreciated. The general manager and head of security for the hotel were attentive and ensured we had a fun and safe stay. Overall we had an amazing stay and we can’t wait to come back to South Beach and stay at the Savoy!

Very Beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly and took care of all my needs. The chef and manager went out their way for me because I had a few issues during my stay. Customer service was on point as well as the cleanliness and aesthetics of the hotel. The only con was the noise. I was on the second floor and could hear the guests above me stomping all night. The hotel was also near some apartments that were being renovated so I woke up to the sound of construction at 7am. I was looking for a more peaceful environment but wasn’t able to get any rest. It probably would’ve been better if I was on the top floor and facing the beach. Two other minor things. The rooms don’t have microwaves and the shower doesn’t close so the floor gets wet. Other than that I would recommend this hotel. It’s pretty and I felt safe here.

  • 5/5 Ida C. 1 year ago on Google
Highly recommend. We felt lucky to have stayed at The Savoy instead of the other bigger hotels on the beach. It’s stretch of beach is quieter and the only time we saw the pools full was Sat afternoon. The staff is very friendly. Overall, it gave us the relaxing comfort and calmness that we were looking for, with easy access to beach and pool.

My wife and I stayed for 4 days last month and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was lovely, the room was comfortable and had a great aesthetic, and the beach was so beautiful and relaxing. Specific shout out to Denzel, Daniela and Rose for their great food recommendations during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Miami beach area. :)

Very kind stuff! We enjoyed the daybeds we rented on the pool with access to the beach. It was super nice on the beach too, because there were not to many people, only hotel guests and people with day passes. Also the drinks were good. We were there twice because we super liked it. Thank you!!

"Homie don't play that" is the racial aptity used by the white male at bar as he secretly calls security on us for using for using the pool.. My husband and I entered from the beach as the sign stated open to public. We were in the pool for about 15 mins before being approached by hotel staff #1 then #2 then #3. Staffer 3 ask if we're staying we say yes as we had planned to check in after our swim we had just arrived and were staying in Miami with my aunt. #3 goes back to the bar calls security and is overheard saying "homie don't play that" I was so disgusted by the bartenders behavior I had to leave a review soon as we got back in.

My husband and I stayed here one night on our honeymoon, and everything was amazing!! The rooms are beautiful, and the staff was beyond accommodating and great!! They let us in our room early, had champagne and snacks waiting for us, and everyone was very friendly. We definitely recommend staying at The Savoy if in Miami!

Loved the location near the beach. Carpet was old and needed cleaning. Salad at restaurant was really delicious and fresh. I ate at the bar inside. Pleasant staff. Close to everything. Parking safer than expected.

Without Alex and George, this experience would not be what it was. My girlfriend and I were in town for a getaway upon when we came back from dinner, the power was out. We’ll use the word upset, but George (it was his day off) and Alex (off duty) quickly came into the hotel, met with, and assured the guests that their stay would not be impacted anymore in a negative light. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for many years and can say that these two are the upmost professionals. Would definitely recommend.

We spent 6 days at Savoy couple weeks ago. We were very happy overall. The premises are historic, well maintained, it seemed like it was in the process of a renovation and a makeover. From the front desk to the pool bar, to the house keeping; all the people of Savoy are lovely, they are friendly and working very hard on making the guests happy. Location is great, it's kind of on the quiet side, surrounded by residential buildings, yet very close to all the action. The 24/7 espresso station by the lobby is great. The walk from the pool to the beach is pleasantly short. Rooms are clean, and nicely decorated with original artifacts. There certainly is room for growth, in terms of room service and other hotel amenities, but it felt like they were aware of it and working on establishing more efficient systems
