While on vacation in South Beach I visit this place twice. The first time was a Friday afternoon and they had two long lines. One inside and out. Plenty of seating was available inside and out but filled up pretty quick. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the options so I had the midnight cuban sandwich. IT WAS GREAT! I recommend getting how it comes. The toppings complement each other so well. We eventually had the regular Cubano sandwich which seem very similar except it had a bolillo type bread and the midnight had a soft sweet bread, like Hawaiian bread. Both were good! The second visit was a Monday afternoon. Food had the same quality taste. The Argentinian bowls was different but turned out to be one of the best combinations I've had. 10/10 would return every visit.

Authentic...although located in the heart of South Beach, this place gave me small town vibes..the food was absolutely amazing and carry the all the essential Cuban cuisine you need. Small place. Recommend to eat outside and enjoy the weather. See the pics, they speak for themselves

Best orange juice I’ve had in my life! Generous portions, well-priced for being so close to the beach. We loved it so much that we had to go back again while on our trip!

Best cubano in miami is found here - we live in little Havana so I think I have some level of say. I know it's surprising that's the case when it's located in south beach. Highly recommend a visit, it's close to the beach, cheap and staff is friendly. Worth a special trip 👌 We tried the Brazilian cubano and it did not disappoint. The only difference is the Brazilian cubano has a coconut sweet bread instead of the traditional cubano. Superb.

Cleaning should be a priority … and it’s not in here … the floor is sticky, dirty and dangerous! Prices are high in comparison with what the business can offer to customers…. Tables are old but should be clean and desinfectes … the Cuban sandwich taste horrible ! The services is extremely slow We ended throwing away everything … mango juice is horrible

The right spot for breakfast without spending so much. The portions are big and the Cuban coffee delicious as expected. I wish we had seen this place from day one, we would’ve enjoyed it more and save money. Service is great! They start breakfast at 7am

Cute little restaurant proposing Cuban and Mexican food. I had a omelette sandwich with bacon 🥓 it was delicious and big! When ordering coffee, make sure to make yourself understood otherwise you might end with a small very sugary coffee.

I only think of Las Olas on 3 occasions. BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER! 1st of all, Las Olas gives huge portions at good prices. They generally have a great staff, but I have found Genesis & Arianna to be outstanding. It was their courtesy & kindness that moved this from a 4 to a 5.

Jan 14, 2023: I have been to many ethnic take-out food places and this was a surprising gem to find in Miami Beach. STAY AWAY if you are prone to diets, all food here is either High Carbs or High Carbs! Regardless, The food is delicious! Typical of Latin food, all meals are typically slow cooked in various Spices and condiments. It is naturally Non-vegetarian since many vegetables are cooked on same grill as their meat products (as are All grills!- little known secret!). Is it Kosher-? Forgetaboutit! They do a Huge amount of take-out business and claim to be available thru GRUBHUB. The menu is quite Long and extensive and even has PHOTO's on separate signs to entice you - look for them! Menu items are in both English and Spanish, although the cashier's seem to speak SOME English you may need to pronounce your items in as close to Spanish as you can. It will bring a smile to their faces to see you try and will endear you to them. Use the photos on GOOGLE to pick your choices - There are many photos of the colorful menus in the photos, besides my own. CUBAN Sandwiches ("Cubano") are most popular item, but so are many of the fried Pork products. There are many items to choose from! Full meals are typically around the $10 mark. Meal items are sold as 1 Protein + 2 sides (or something like that), with "Protein" being MEAT, PORK or CHICKEN. Sides are a delicious list of Latin favorites. If you know Latin food from other countries, you will recognize many items but a few use "native people's" names. All the favorites are here: Plantains ("Platanos"), Fried Sweet Plantains ("Maduros"), White or Yellow Rice ("Arroz" - "Blanco" or "Amarillo"), Tostone (Fried slice of Green Plantain - looks like a Large cookie) and French Fries ("papitas fritas"). Specials vary by day but they seem to be the normal items but check for yourself! All are delicious! Mine was! I ordered Chicharon w Plantain slice = Pork Belly slices +Plantain slice, my wife ordered a Cuban sandwich ("Cubano"). It is all worth the trip and despite appearances it is all affordable, even for a family of 4. In a window display are a bunch of hand-holdable fried foods. Ask about the fillings. These items are only about $3, and really good if you are in a hurry to grab something quick to eat as you walk, or want something for that child that likes to touch their food.

Great quick latin food. If you want someone delicious and fast on South Beach check out Las Olas cafe. They make excellent Caribbean Latino plates. Definitely try their Cuban sandwich and empanadas.

Best Cubano Sandwiches, maduros, and yuca. I come here everytime I'm in Miami! If you speak Spanish, ordering and receiving your order is much easier. Feel free to order inside too for faster service, although you can also order outside too. The ladies are sweet and work very efficiently. There were 8 people ahead of me but received my empanadas immediately, my yuca hervida (boiled yuca) and maduros within 4 min, and our Cubanos within 15 min. They have 4 tables that seat 4 each inside and an additional 8 tables outside that can sit up to 32 people, but minimal shade outside. Inside they have 4 ceiling fans going, no AC, but still comfortable environment. No indoor bathroom that I know of. Really nice food, service, and time here.

This place was amazing. Best coffee we had in Miami, quick service, and amazing open air eating, next to palm trees. The locals eat here and it is where you should eat too. The have Cuban breakfast staples, as well as fresh made fruit smoothies, and shakes. You can also eat inside or out for your pleasure and the customer service was great. This is a must stop spot when in Miami. I’m not going to lie it is always packed and it does take a while to get the food but I promise it’s worth the wait, it is cooked so incredibly well and has such an authentic Cuban flavor definitely one of the best spots to hit when Miami. We ordered the mango juice (pure flavor) chicken empanadas, Cuban sandwich, Medianoche (basically a Cuban sandwich made with sweet bread), guava pastry (great mix of sweet and savory)

So far one of my favorite places to grab lunch in South Beach. The daily special changes throughout the week. I got the combo and the portion is enough to feed 2 adults for a light meal. My wife got the Cubano and she said that it was amazing the sandwich was flavorful and bread was perfectly soft and crunchy.

Authentic Cuban food and it was DELICIOUS. I certainly would recommend this as a stop. It would be five stars but it took longer then I thought it should take for me and my buddy to get my sandwiches.

This is hands down the best Cuban cafe in all of Miami. The cuban sandwiches don’t actually have sand in them so i’m my review it’s hands down the best. The half chicken is so good and black beans pack a punch. Don’t let me forget the platanos so goooooooood. Sorry for the miss spelled words i’m shaking with happiness and love for this place!!!

Must stop by authentic hole in a wall kind of an establishment if you are in south beach. Seriously. No exaggeration. Coffee, breakfast, empanadas, ceviche, breakfast items, juices, smoothies etc. Tried a few things over a couple of visits. Coffee and empanadas are great. Smoothie is ok. They add sugar to it unless you ask that you don’t want it. On Saturday they have a fish ceviche special that was delish. Prices are reasonable and 50% lower than what you pay on ocean drive. Service is a bit slow though but likely because they are so busy.

Another one of those restauraunts where I had a phenomenal experience but my friends who came with me did not. I decided to order something authentic and ordered the pan con lechon. One of my friends ordered avocado toast (yes, he's super white) and a danish. The food came out quite slowly. I sat there for likely more than 20 minutes waiting for my sandwich to come out. My friend received cold avocado toast and the staff realized after ordering that they did not have the right danish. Not to mention, they were out of many items on the menu. My sandwich was delicious. It was $13 and had a ton of meat and was reasonably sized. I'd just like to represent everyone in my group's experiences here.

The price is good (for Miami beach) and the portions are big. The food was excellent too. Also we didn’t speak any Spanish but the staff was really patient and happy to help us order. There isn’t much room to sit since it’s just a cafe.
