My partner and I spent last week here (Dec. 26 - 30) and had a great time! Our room was clean, the hotel was conveniently located to a lot of fun things (beaches, bars, restaurants, shopping), the bike rentals were easy to coordinate, the staff was amazing. Free breakfast daily was perfect and evening entertainment with local drag queens was so much fun. The bar crowd was lively and friendly, and we didn’t mind coming back to the hotel to end our nights out every night. The sauna was super relaxing and very fun - a MUST visit. The only thing that would’ve made our visit perfect is better sound proofing throughout; after a long day out, falling asleep to the sounds of bar patrons partying and music blasting wasn’t ideal (didn’t last very late but late enough). If we make it back to Miami, we’ll def try and stay here again.

Just finished a 4 night stay at this amazing place and I will definitely be back for more. The room was spotless and smelled so clean on arrival. The hotel staff and bar staff were super friendly. The bar is a great place to meet people from all over and there’s something going on there every day. The bar is so fun, I noticed that even off-duty hotel staff hangout there with their friends when off the clock. On that note - my boyfriend and I went to the other bars during our visit and found ourselves eager to get back to the hotel bar because the crowd was way more enjoyable and the venue much more welcoming than the other spots. And if you’re looking for some extracurriculars, the sauna has you covered. 😉 Don’t hesitate to book your stay. I wish I was here longer but we’ll definitely be back.

This is my new favorite hot spot to stay in south beach Miami. This is a quaint little hotel with sexy vibes. Everything about the place is great. The service was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, there were events most night that attracted some of Miami’s hottest men. The spa was exceptional!!! Mens only including a hot tub, steam room, sauna, and showers. I got to meet a lot of the men who were staying there and it was a wonderful way to blow off some steam. I can’t wait to go back!

This a top place to be for spoiled people. Regardless if you're straight, bi, or gay I would highly recommend this place. You will get what you want, no doubt! Few key items that I liked: - Location is amazing, you're staying in the quiet part of South Miami Beach. Everything you need is close by. - Interior and attention to details are outstanding! You won't find a second place like this - Steam room and sauna are the BEST I have ever seen in US! Right temperature (hot, not warm) how it should be, lots of steam. A super clean environment without any smell. - Perfect bar with 1 free cocktail per day. Damn, for real! What can be better? - Free bike for rental, beach towels, good breakfast. How can you beat it? - Great open-minded people around, it was way above my expectations. New trainee Angel was above and beyond. Super charming. The only one question remained unclear for me since nothing is mentioned about this anywhere. Am I allowed to book a room with my female partner in case I'm bisexual? Even if it's a gay hotel resort, are any women allowed to stay there?

My partner and I stayed for a few days while on a Florida vacation and loved it. Angel at the desk was phenomenal and from check-in until check-out, he was incredibly friendly and helpful. Matt, the GM, was also very nice when covering a shift on Sunday. I studied hotel management so I'm always looking at the servicescape and they really did a nice job and I even saw a, assumingly, odd occurrence happen with a guest while I was sitting outside, and the team handled it with a lot of grace and professionalism. We had fun the whole time and the room was quite large and well-appointed with lots of little extras. The sauna is very clean and has a variety of amenities for use. We will definitely be back... hopefully more often. A hotel similar to this would be my dream property when I semi-retire someday. Thanks for the great stay!!

AMAZING, LGBTQ owned and operated local business! I've extended my initial 1 week stay several times (house hunting) and was treated like family (no pun intended) and a long time friend! Matt the mgr - I have no words to express my gratitude. The staff are super friendly, down to earth, and respectful! The room above the bar isn't as crazy with noise as I anticipated. The room is comfy, spacious, relaxing & the King bed....wow (!) I'd never leave for that alone. The only recommendation would be to add a microwave in each room (minor comment). I'm sooo happy I booked this hotel for my move to Miami Beach! A true gem in the heart of Miami Beach....oh and the male staff...super adorable & sweet! I recommend this hotel with full confidence and support! ¡Muchas gracias por todo! I'm sooo happy to have been a guest (and treated like VIP)!

Gaythering Hotel and it's on Miami Beach off Alton Rd. I had stayed in a room on the third floor with a friend who was on vacation and decided to stay there. Drank and smoked and had a good time. If your Gay this place is the place to maybe meet people with common interests. Check it out

Absolutely amazing first time experience. This place is a SB gem. All of the staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Not to mention, the manager, Angel is a true class act. The way he multi tasked and showed each guest attention as if they were the only one there is to be recognized. I’ll definitely return soon.

My stay was AWESOME! The front desk staff is AWESOME! Very welcoming and inviting. The bar staff was AWESOME! From check in until check out, I enjoyed this hotel ALOT! I will most definitely be back SEVERAL times!

This hotel was waaaaaaay better than expected! I was actually nervous because the price was so good. Even there are pet fees and parking 🅿️ fees the price was great (which you should expect because it’s MB) BUT you have book through them (which we did). The location is perfect- just 2 minutes from the start of Lincoln Road Plaza. The room was exceptional and had a neat theme. We are not late people so we didn’t get to know the sauna or the bar but it was totally cool looking. Oh, and the staff was totally cool! Totally very clean and fun decorating !!!

This was my first time in Miami and I can say that I have not been disappointed! Gaythering hotel was just a wonderful experience and I will return without any hesitation. The staff is exceptionally friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk into the lobby. Many thanks to Keith from NYC and Melissa (I hope I got the right name) for their warm welcome and friendliness. The rooms (and the hotel in general) are very clean. The sauna and bar of the hotel are a real plus that attracts many people from Miami and different regions of the world. Tonight is my last night of a 3 night stay and I will definitely be back! Everything was so clean and towels and sheets smelled fresh. I love the community vibes in the hotel bar. The nightly events are so fun I ended up hanging around the hotel more than exploring. Be sure to check out the sauna! And the fun king rooms for the adventurous

This is my 3rd winter break coming to this hotel and the customer service has always been stellar. The hosts are very helpful to answer any questions or assist with any issues. They seem to appear to genuinely care about their guests. It's definitely not a quiet hotel but they provide a noise machine that works well. The room is always super clean. It's really cool being at a hotel where I'm not the only gay guy in a space. It's a special gem. The cleanliness, lovely breakfast and attentive customer service will get me to come back next year.

Before of the pandemic we went to the hotel a couple of times, we decided to return on spring this year. The hotel was renovated. Rooms are beautiful I must highlight and thank the excellent service and attention that Luis always gave us (sorry, I don't know his last name), Luis the manager is very professional, kind, funny and extremely polite. With a person of those qualities, it is a great experience to stay there. Thank you very much Gaythering, thank you very much "Luis.”

I think my expectations were higher/ rooms were decent forsure however super super thin walls and the pillows are not the T, they are made for children. The sauna area is cool but tiny, and wet…like a cave. The staff was super friendly esp the front desk person who was wearing a moomoo

Matt the general manager of this hotel and his staff are doing an excellent job managing this beautiful slice of paradise which is located right next to Biscayne Bay at the very end of Lincoln road away from the tourist. This was my Fourth time staying at this property and I requested a top floor large room and the view of the bay from my room was amazing!!!

From the incredible front desk staff, to the sweetest housekeeper ever (Irma), to the AMAZING owner, Alex—the Hotel Gaythering provides an all-encompassing, thoughtful experience that is truly unforgettable. At the bar you get to rub elbows with the locals and really experience the Miami Beach lifestyle first hand. The decor throughout the hotel makes you feel like you’ve been transported to an art exhibit with a sense of humor. Our room was clean and fully stocked with the essentials. The hotel is located in the most perfect part of South Beach. You are a few steps from Lincoln Road Mall and some of the best restaurants the beach has to offer. I would GLADLY recommend this hotel!! 6/5 stars!

Thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay in an XL crate room (adequate room for 1-2 people). The staff are really friendly. Plenty of common areas if you feel like being social. The shared showers and bathrooms were really clean, as were the rooms and the sauna. I did spend most of the time at the sauna and highly recommend checking it out even if you're not staying at the hotel. The one thing I'd do differently next time is to choose the refundable fares while booking the rooms. I had to change my travel plan last-minute because of the snowstorm and airline issues (the management did refund some of the money tho!). Just got back, but already thinking about when I can visit again.

Came to visit during art Basel this past weekend! Just for a few hours. It was an amazing event going on Friday night .. They had gay art everywhere. We were able to mingle with the artist and see different variations of art work! Bartenders were attentive and friendly! Thank you for the good time. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I’ve stayed at Hotel Gaythering three times and every single time was unforgettable. The rooms are very clean, the sheets and pillows are comfortable, and the ambience is phenomenal. They offer free bikes to ride around south beach, free beach towels, beach umbrellas, ice… they really have everything. Gaythering also has the best gay sauna in Miami right downstairs, and hotel guests have free access to it! Oh! I almost forgot to mention the gay bar with drag shows, games and karaoke! The staff is so accommodating and welcoming! They make me feel at home! Special thanks to Dupaul and Luis for being so awesome! Did I mention they have a pancake machine? Gaythering is the best option for gay men in Miami. Just book your reservation already!

The hotel is immaculate, the staff are so helpful and kind, and the layout was gorgeous. One thing that stuck out to me was that the soap in the shower had eucalyptus and lavender as scents and I felt like they cleaned very well. The lamp equipped with wireless charging was a very nice touch! Look forward to coming back to try their breakfast!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here, and I must say it was a wonderful experience! The whole staff was extremely attentive, front desk was very helpful, he gave us a lot of recommendations on restaurants and suggestions on things to do. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, Our room was very clean and neatly decorated. Irma, our housekeeper, was the sweetest lady. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. We definitely recommend Gaythering Hotel to anyone coming to Miami Beach!
