Echo the feedback that was posted a couple weeks ago about the outdoor class. Staff was not helping us understand how to activate the headset and they didnā€™t have enough dumbbells even though the class was not at full capacity. We couldnā€™t actually participate in the class. The staff were not interesting in helping and looked at us saying ā€œI donā€™t know what to do doā€¦ maybe use body weight?ā€. How do you do a proper arms workout with body weight? They kept checking people in behind us even though they were out of light weights which is what was needed for the workout. The lightest weight they had was 15 lbs. Also, there should be more communication about the location. The confirmation email says the studio even though itā€™s outdoors in the parking garage and the address sends you to a building around the corner. We had a hard time finding the place. When we asked for a refund, we were initially told that they canā€™t do that and they can just issue a credit. I had to threaten to dispute the charge to get my refund back. No one really felt bad about it.

The workout itself is good but I unfortunately got sick here. I'm very active and not new to group fitness classes. But I found the workout stations too close together with so many people crammed into the room who are all breathing heavy and sweating. You are frequently changing treadmills and mats with other people, it was just gross. 2 days later, I'm in bed with flu like symptoms. This can definitely be improved.

Was disappointed by how the front desk was managed. Visited from out of town, from a studio where checking in is not a heavily enforced thing. I got to this studio early, put my stuff in a locker, and then went up to the desk to let them know I was there before I went into the red room. I lingered back because the desk is an actual mob scene, and I figured it wouldn't matter since I already have a reservation that I made the same morning. The front desk person incredibly condescendingly announced to everyone there -- before the class start time -- that we were all "late" so we need to "wait, one at a time." Again, I hung back because I thought I had a reserved spot, and the class hadn't yet started, and the people around me need something more than I do. Well, it turned out he gave my spot away. He insisted that you need to check in more than 5 minutes in advance of the class start time - maybe that's the policy, but the way it was enforced felt extreme and unkind. He returned my credit, but the studio did not refund my credit - so now I just have a reminder of this incident lingering on my account. If you want to feel like more than a source of revenue, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Worst service I've ever experienced at a fitness class. Despite 3-4 staff members on site, they were not focused or helpful with resolving a technical issue at check-in (busy joking with each other and playing with the dog). After paying for the class a second time to be able to take the class, the check in staff made no attempt to welcome me to class or show me equipment (e.g. that I needed headphones and how to turn them on). With a boutique fitness class, I would expect much better customer service. Unfortunately, the extra staff on site seemed more interested in hanging out rather than providing a good experience for paying customers.

One of the harder HIIT classes I've taken. Half the class is cardio (treadmill) while the other is strength training with free weights and bands. The cardio side kicks my butt to the point where I dread doing it (but thats how you know its great for you šŸ˜‰). They change the focus area daily so you have the option of attending a class that is more arms focused, or lower body, or chest and back- which I appreciate!

This place is one of my favorite places on the planet. The trainers are amazing, inspiring, and encouraging. Nelson is definitely one of the hardest, but worth it! Kellie is awesome! Awesome energy and a great workout. Derek is the man! Really fun guy to workout with. I could go on and on listing each of the trainers and staff, but Iā€™ll let you meet them and see for yourself. Get after it. Sign up for a class and get in that red room. All your worries will disappearā€¦ well at least for 50min. šŸ˜œ

Studio is fine. But I feel like facilities and workouts are not on par with other Barryā€™s studios.

Great class and atmosphere. Love the vibe, will definitely be returning. I did orange theory for about 18 monthsā€¦.Barrys is far Superior! Sammi is a MONSTER (and I mean that in the absolute best of ways) donā€™t let her pretty face fool you.

I have been to Barryā€™s in several other cities and found this one typical of others. However I did find the workout ranges to be much higher than I was used to. I went here and Midtown and had same experience. It was fine second time because I expected it but the beginner level was more like intermediate at other studios. The instructor didnā€™t really preview the intervals well either. The opening block was over 10 minutes and if was hard to know how to pace yourself.

Womenā€™s locker room is a mess. Instructor was making body dysmorphic/fat shaming comments in class.

Well I have had over 900 classes so far. I have tried almost everything as well but always end up here. I recommend all Barryā€™s yes Miami Beach is exceptional but so are all the others in LA Miami and Atlanta

They really need to pump in more AC into classes, itā€™s so hot in there! Also, other Barryā€™s have more padded floors, the floor here is really hard. Take care of knees and wrists!

Barry's is good. But their outdoor bootcamp was the best. Very disappointed that they closed Wynwood and South Beach. That's what made Barry's so unique. Not many places in the country can offer outdoor bootcamp like Barry's.

Love this place. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The instructors make the effort to know you by name. And they keep it clean! You'd never know that sweaty bodies inhabit this gym hour after hour. Really a great place to get a good workout in...

Great workout. Have taken class with multiple coaches and fully believe Justin M. is the best coach in DC. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a full body workout with lots of running and weights.

Iā€™ve been to many a Barryā€™s studio and this is my favorite. Great trainers with distinct styles and approaches offer a lot of variety within the Barryā€™s format. Amazing, friendly staff as well.
