This
beach
is
stunning
and
possibly
my
favorite
beach
in
the
U.S.
I
love
very
specific
details
about
the
water
and
waves
of
various
beaches,
so
here
are
mine:
At
low
tide,
the
water
is
warm,
calm
and
shallow
with
gentle
lapping
waves
-
you
can
go
out
for
about
100
yards
and
still
only
be
to
your
waist.
Itβs
almost
like
a
lake,
but
with
velvety
sand
and
crystal
clear,
sparkling
aqua
water.
At
high
tide
(yellow
flag
conditions)
the
waves
are
a
bit
more
vigorous
but
still
with
a
manageable
break.
Once
you
pass
the
break,
itβs
quite
fun
to
bob
around
in
the
waves
and
swim.
When
we
have
gone
in
June
and
July,
there
was
minimal
seaweed
and
it
didnβt
bother
any
of
us.
No
saragassum.
There
are
beach
vendors
selling
juice,
drinks
and
waters.
Most
hotels
offer
chairs,
cabanas
and
umbrellas.
Pics/reviews
are
specifically
at
the
north
of
South
Pointe
beach,
by
the
beach
gym.
