They destroyed my cervical I went to them after an accident, after 2 weeks of therapy with Dr. Travis I started having severe dizziness, according to them it was the crystals in my ear that had moved and they continued their chiropractic...I ended up in horrible pain that wouldn't even let me walk... I was the one who stopped their sections and I had to ask them to show me an MRI. Result 3 hernias in the cervicals and they are loaded at their convenience. I ended up worse than the accident! A year has passed and I have not recovered from dizziness!! They also lie to cover themselves, Dr. Poovendran should have seen me but he went to celebrate Halloween... and when he came back he never checked me.

I never leave reviews but this was an awful chiro experience. I went in due to muscle spasms and tightness in my mid back. I got Travis who was young but I thought sure why not. After we went through the motion tests he decided cupping would be a good solution. Maybe I am just sensitive.. but the cupping felt too strong, to the point that I had to call out for him to return to the room and take them off after a couple min. The cup marks were painful, elevated, and dark purple for about a week after the appt then finally started lessening. Currently, 7 weeks later, the cup marks are STILL visible on my back. This did not solve my back pain at all, if anything it felt like it was worse after. Additionally, he continued to mention how fun partying at Club Space was and at one point, somehow felt it was appropriate to say he would show me how good of a time the club is. Normally I am all for friendly conversation but I take my health pretty seriously - especially when I am being charged $375 an hour.. + I had mentioned that I don't drink or party and it didn't feel like the right time or place to discuss clubbing from my "doctor". I found a much more experienced chiropractor nearby who was able to quickly identify and solve the issue I had with a simple adjustment a few weeks later. Still stuck with cup marks though!

Although Miami Beach is out of the way for me, I can't say how pleased I am with the professional and courteous attention we received at USA Sports Medicine! My son had a sports injury (shoulder and hip), and he was frustrated with not being able to work out and perform at his best and without pain. Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and from the first contact with Priscilla, I knew my son is in great hands! She coordinated everything effortlessly and always with a smile, reassuring and educating us about the PRP treatment. Dr. P and Fernando are a great team, and together they successfully shepherded my son through the procedure. Now, only a week later, he is feeling great and is very thankful to the entire team at USA Sports Medicine. We will definitely recommend your practice to anyone in need of the services you provide!

My experience with USA Sports Medicine South Beach has been outstanding. Dr. Jenny Gores in particular continues to be unsurpassed as a high quality provider. Her approach is patient-first, adaptive, and tenacious. I've also never seen better bedside manner. She goes the extra mile educating patients about their bodies and injuries in a way that breaks down complex concepts into easily understandable language and clear expectations. I'd been seeing her for several months when I had an accident-related spinal injury. Jenny went out of her way to express personal concern, check in unprompted, and facilitate the necessary steps to begin treating my more serious injuries. She is doctor, consultant, encourager, problem solver, accountability partner all rolled into one excellent physical therapist.

My experience with USA Sports Medicine borders on the miraculous. I did not expect such good results, after many years of on-and-off physical therapy. I have suffered through a variety of issues related a bad fall down a flight of stairs just over a decade ago: atrophied muscles, adhesions, IT band pain, bad balance and a stiff, balky walking gait. Under the direction of Dr. Aaron Reinisch, and assisted by John Lengua, I worked through a progression of exercises and treatments over a period of four weeks (3 visits weekly). They worked me hard but it was worth the effort. The pain in my IT Band is gone and I feel stronger and steadier on my feet and while walking. My endurance has improved. While I still have a lot of work to do, I am encouraged that my balance, strength and endurance will continue to improve. If you are willing to do the hard work to regain your health, there is no better place to do it than USA Sports Medicine. Aaron and John, thank you!

I love this place! Never thought I would look forward to physical therapy. Dr. Capiro has helped me with my lower back pain/sciatica exponentially. He is extremely knowledgeable, has a passion for helping people actually feel better, and offers tips and exercises beyond our appointments to prevent a flare up. He takes his time explaining the issues I have, listens to my concerns, and makes me feel better after every appointment. I cannot recommend him more! I have been getting treated by travis for the last month for chiropractic for my lumbar and neck. I have absolutely loved my experience so far. Everyone in the front is ao sweet. PlusI get treated with so much care. I feel safe. I have been feeling so much better as the weeks go by. By far my best experience with a chiropractor.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Dr. Travis and Dr. Poovendran are the dream team! I had an issue with my right hip falling out of joint with a lot of pain. Dr. P identified it as micro-tears in my adductor tendon and we did PRP injections, chiropractic and PT. It’s been about 6 months of working with them regularly and I am totally pain free now and back to my usual shenanigans. Dr. Travis is a great chiropractor. I saw a one star review for these 2 written recently and I just have to say that people are human and not going to be the right fit for 100% of the people. So much of healing has to do with mindset and what you’re willing to do for yourself, and everyone’s healing journey is different. For me, I’m so happy to have these 2 in my corner. Again, I can’t recommend them enough. They understand athletes and extreme movement and do everything in their power to help you get back to doing the things you love. Love all around.

Dr. TRAVIS (chiropractor) always takes care of me at USA SPORTS MED in south beach. I have lower back and shoulder stiffness, Dr. Travis does a great job stretching me out, cupping, and STEM therapy to make sure I leave corrected and ready to get back to my active lifestyle. Always a great conversation as well to clarify my needs at the beginning of every visit! If you haven’t checked him out you need to!

I have been in several times and always have a fantastic experience. Dr. Orlando and Dr. Stavros are incredibly knowledgeable far beyond chiropractic care. In dealing with my injuries they always make sure to set me up on a path to recovery with exercises and tweaks to my programming to ensure that I recover fully and am able to grow to support my future strength and goals.

I used to be 285 pounds weight which destroyed my feet and knees. Beyond grateful to have come across the team at USA Sports Medicine! I have been suffering from an unknown chronic pain in my hip since 2019, and after many frustrations and dead-ends at other clinics I was properly diagnosed with sacroiliac joint dysfunction from a ligament tear by Dr. Poovendran under ultrasound imaging. I received PRP injections in August 2022 and in only a month the pain was gone! I am back to my sport and daily activities, and continue to get physical therapy by Kevin and chiropractic care by Orlando for maintenance and injury prevention. USA Sports Medicine is by far the best physical therapy experience I’ve ever had. I would travel a far distance for my sessions with Dr Aaron. USA Sports Medicine has been my physical therapy of choice for injuries including a a nasty ankle sprain and a stress fracture. When I went to Dr Aaron at USA Sports Medicine for my sprained ankle, I couldn’t put any weight on it; one hour later he worked his magic and I was able to walk slowly and with a brace but without a limp; seriously amazing! The manual therapy, the exercises, and the high tech equipment... they have it all so you get the exact treatment combination that is best and most effective for you. The entire staff is friendly, professional, personable, and will remember your name and your reason for visiting! The facility is beautiful and clean. And the sessions are on time and dependable, they keep a great schedule :)

Dr. Gayan Poovendran, M.D, Dr. Kevin Mills and Dr. Fernando Ryan are excellent practitioners who demonstrate a level of expertise including sensitivity, kindness, understanding and consideration. My right knee injury caused me severe pain. I was frightened and very scared about my recovery. From my first visit, I was put at ease when Dr. Poovendran discovered the source of my pain and with Dr. Mills and Dr. Ryan recommended a course of treatment for my pain, followed by physical therapy. The front office staff are very professional and courteous, and I appreciate and give special mention of Lorraina and Priscilla and Alyssa German in physical therapy.

Beautiful facility, all state of the art. All the staff from reception to the therapists are so friendly. Kevin and Aaron are top notch therapists. Amazing team. Beyond profesional and caring. They kindly toke care of a terrible lower back pain with sessions of physical therapy that works pretty well and put me to walk again and have a normal life. The PT staff keeps track of the improvement with different routines according to pain and mobility. Highly recommended also for PRP, Stem cell and IV therapy. The ladies at the front desk are courteous, clear, very efficient and fast, what I believe a front desk team should be like. Love that! Then the Dr./Therapist, Anderson and team…. They are superb and so Knowledgeable!!! Patient and understanding, with a good dose of support! They listen. In one month I have shown much progress, from all the information/attention/support they have given to my knee (after arthroscopy surgery) than any other previous Doctor or Surgeon I have seen. They have helped me tremendously rebuild my: 1. Confidence in my body strength. 2. Mobility.. range of motion. 3. Learning literally how to walk again. 4. Muscles!! My experience was amazing from beginning to end! They got me in for a consultation on my knees while I was in town for a few days. Dr. Poovendran took excellent care of me, and all of the staff were kind and helpful throughout my appointment. The best thing? Dr. P gave me a treatment on my knees while there (which they also fit me in last minute for) and they feel so good now! It has been years since my knees didn't pain me, especially while active, and I can't express how thankful I am to be able to resume an active, pain-free life!

After 2 years of dealing with glute/hamstring issues, I was finally annoyed enough by the pain to go to the experts at USA Sports Medicine. My PT therapist, Aaron Renisch, and his professional (and very caring!) team helped me get back in the gym pain-free after only 2 weeks of physical therapy! I loved the experience and couldn't recommend Dr. Aaron and his team more highly! 🙌🏼 They are simply the best!
