🫤 Went to see Dr. Drost based on amazing recommendation from a friend. Only had 1 appt with him as the office didn’t do it’s due diligence and verify my insurance before hand (they told me with certainty that they took my insurance but they were actually out of network) I got a $300 bill later and aft... People often mention doctor, office, insurance, told, appointment, called, great,

Went to see Dr. Drost based on amazing recommendation from a friend. Only had 1 appt with him as the office didn’t do it’s due diligence and verify my insurance before hand (they told me with certainty that they took my insurance but they were actually out of network) I got a $300 bill later and after about 10 back and forth calls between the billing person and Cigna - oh yea we don’t actually take that plan 🤦‍♀️. Now I need a new DR and while they lowered the bill to $95 (still a lot when I had insurance to cover my PCP) it’s really a disservice to patients if they can’t do simple things like verify your insurance before coming to appt - every other Dr office I’ve been to has no issue doing this. Shame bc Dr Drost seemed to be good physician but now I gotta find a new one.

Had my first doctor visit ever with Dr Brian Pachter. He rushed through everything not caring of what I had to say. Continuously interrupted me while explaining what I’ve been feeling. This lead me to find a new DR. Hope I can find a better primary.

It often takes hours to reach a live person on the phone at the Miami Beach office. Those that are patient enough to make an appointment here can expect health questions to be brushed off or misdiagnosed. In my experience, the associated Mt. Sinai system also gave me a false cancer diagnosis last year... This organization does not have the time to take care of and listen to patient’s needs, and it shows.

I called today 7 times before someone answers and was told that I cannot see a doctor because I am not feeling well and I should wait to feel well to see a doctor. The doctors are not accepting sick patients… I cannot make sense of this, why would I want to see a doctor when I’m feeling well when I need to see a doctor today when I feel like a have an infection?! How is the legal?! What world are we living in when those who suppose to serve and help are rejecting to do that?

There is no way to set an appointment. I've been calling for 3 days now. I called both offices and someone hung up on me. Its like they don't want to talk to you. I do not recommend.

I have been a patient for over 20 years. I've had nothing but good experiences with my doctors. Have visited several of the crew over the years for different issues. The doctors and staff are kind and knowledgeable. I know a good doctor when I see one because I am one! A veterinarian! Super responsive to our rx requests etc etc on the patient portal. Couldn't be more convenient and easy

I’ve been a patient of doctor Brian Pachter for 7 years. The few times i had questions he answered my messages through the portal. During exams he is very thorough. I have also seen doctor Newman recently, he is very pleasant. Parking across the building is not longer only cash. I barely have to wait when i go. They are great and honest with insurance matters.

Dr. Abouekde is great. The office staff here has been super helpful too. Idk why everyone else who leaves reviews here is so angry.

I don't know yet what will be happening on the long run, but FINALLY, Thank you, Thank You, 1/ A doctor's office you can call directly, 2/ A welcoming, smiling, organized, helpful, efficient desk ! With a real human quality Amanda and Mimi thank you a, it made our day and reconciled us đź’™ 3/ Doctor Ari Newman what a great consultation. Thorough, attentive, HUMAN, and great listener. My husband and I just felt relieved, cared for, acknowledged, you know we mean, someone having our backs! What a great destiny, this other gastro rated 4.9 was not a pleasant experience and we found this "physician group"! People want to go back to more reliable connected medical care!

GASTROENTEROLOGY GROUP - This place is an absolute joke. I saw the doctor and had a procedure scheduled to "see whats going on". Upon scheduling it, the office confirmed it would be covered by my insurance. I called my insurance company to be told, no this is not covered and I will have to pay for it. Here I am, 12 hours before the procedure date, I have still not received an appointment time for tomorrow morning's surgery. I've called 4-5 times and left messages. Just now someone finally picked up said she didn't know what I should do and asked if I would call back later (the office closes in 1 hour, mind you). I told her to cancel my procedure. A practice run so poorly isn't one that I want performing surgery on me.

I came in to the doctors office at 11AM. I didnt have an appointment but since i came in to do the retesting they told me over the phone that i dont need an appointment. When i was signing in i asked at the front desk if it could be possible to talk to Dr. Danny about the other issue I have since im already there. The lady told me she will check with the doctor and let me know. I saw that same lady going on a break without letting me know if the doctor is available. At 12PM(noon), other assistant asked me if i had an appointment and if i signed in. After i told her that i have been waiting for an hour, she went and checked with the doctor. She told me i would have to wait “a little” before the doctor sees me, which meant after the lunch break, at 1PM. This is not the first time i have the issue with the staff of this institution. Previously they never called me with the results of the testing, I had to called them for days. Dr Danny is great, but his staff is terrible! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Went to the office and did not have my insurance card. They told me they couldn’t check with my name and date of birth. The next morning I call with my insurance card to schedule an appointment. The lady at the front desk told me to go on the website and see if they take my insurance. I was at work in a hurry, no help at all. And the first impression that I got was rude and in a rush to sent you away, from going to the office and calling to book my appointment.
