I was lucky to find Dr. Gonzalez maybe 10 years ago, back when her practice was located at Mount Sinai, and she has been my PCP ever since. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and also attentive and kind. She is a rarity among doctors, in my experience--she always listens carefully and has never rushed through any of my appointments. She takes her time and explains things thoroughly, and I really appreciate that she doesn't try to push unnecessary pills or medication. She's been available for telehealth consultations during the pandemic, which was a huge help for me a couple of weeks ago. I can't speak for the other doctors at Alma Medical Group, as I've never visited with them, but Dr. Gonzalez is a gem. If you go in person: the office is a converted little house on Alton Road, small but cozy, and there are some dedicated parking spaces (though not many) out front.

Dr. Alicia Rodriguez always makes you wait and never apologize for that. You wait in a crowded office for hours at this COVID-19 time! Office stuff is worse than her. I chosen this place just because it was close to my home and never thought I would have such a bad experience! I might have breast cancer right now but no way to have the information since they can not follow up your results.. I had my ankle Xray on Oct 23rd and mammogram on Oct 27th which faxed to doctor’s office on the same day! Still can not find anyone to check that fax and arrange me a phone call with the doctor! Calling them almost everyday and they say they are gonna check and call me back! Basically, they are making me wait for 14 days for the information they already have saying that they didn’t get it! I have to remind you that I’m not waiting for a furniture delivery ! This is something serious - this is about my health- my life and I don’t think they are aware of that!

I was a bit nervous to come here after reading the negative reviews, but I had a great experience with both the front desk and Dr. Gonzalez. Dr. Gonzalez was very thorough and so helpful. She made sure I understood everything she was telling me. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr Cuello and Dr Armas are excellents. But the staff are the worst! They never do their job. I have lost my appointment with a surgeon 👨‍⚕️ twice because they forgot to sent the referral, even tho I called twice to remind them. Also, I have being calling all day before loosing my appointment and they never answered. Those ladies are the worst!

I really liked Dr Armas, she was thorough; however, it took 6 weeks and several phone calls for me to get my bloodwork results. They don't answer the phone, they don't return voicemails, the online portal is broken so if u cancel an appointment there it won't matter. I had 3 telemed visits scheduled over 2 days to review my results and the Dr never called. Horrible follow up, horrible patient support.

Nurses are warm and friendly, I was surprise by how rude Dr Alicia is, my husband was treated very badly by her. Even though is near by my house I would plan to go somewhere else in the future.

My mom has to take a medication for the whole life and they said they sent they authorization and it was not true and now she can’t take the medicine because it finished so she call them back and they say she needs an authorization every month paying the consultation to authorize it, that doesn’t make sense as she needs to pay a lot for every appointment just to get the authorization and the medicine!!!!

I absolutely loved Dr. Susana and Dr. Ana, but this office is absolutely terrible. They do not make you feel comfortable and that you are a priority in any sense. They do not answer the phone, they do not care about the patients, etc. it’s truly unfortunate with such amazing doctors that the office is so terrible. Can’t find a good thing to say about them. Looking for a new office immediately.

If I could give Alma Medical Group a cero I would. Dont ever go there, I choose this place because it used to be walking distance from my home. However they scheduling system is a joke, be ready to wait for many hours. their staff never answers the phone..I have asked for my medical records for over a month and after calls emails and going in person to ask for them they dont care.

DO NOT GO TO THE PRACTICE. Lengthy review but do not disregard. Their customer service is not what you would expect from a provider's office. My mother has been a patient of Dr Cuello for years, even when he was in practice with another provider, Dr Cuello left the Miami Beach location. When he returned, my mother went back to see him. My mother moved out of town and decided to continue services with the provider because the provider assured her, she would be well taken care of anytime she had an issue. ALL LIES. Each time I've had to call to get things resolved for my mother, it's taken weeks, even months. Her vein provider requested a MRI which the office had to submit for approval. I get a call from the MRI establishment the day before that it has to be canceled because they never received the approval. I called Libnis at the office and was informed it was denied because of no recent office notes with Dr Cuello mind you, they have ALL doctors notes from the vein provider with the MRI order. Fine, we scheduled a telehealth appt with Dr Cuello, still over a month later, my mother is sitting down waiting for a call. I've asked for a home health aide since January, nothing. A life alert device that Caesar (the Simply health care rep) said she was entitled, nothing. I even was on the phone with a rep from Simply for over 2 hours (I filed a complain with her and she agreed) trying to get everything resolved and I'm STILL waiting for any resolution. The office manager Tatiana is useless. She's always at another location so when I call that location, she's in an all day meeting. Meetings for what? Not to make the customer service any better, that's for sure. I've emailed Varielys, Susana, Libnis, and Tatiana various times and NOTHING. The ONLY one that is interested in helping is Trixie, no one else. This is appalling, disgusting, and very frustrating. My mother is not a spring chicken, she has various health issues, and for a long time patient to be discarded in this manner is sad. I've worked in the medical field and try to be as understanding as possible because unfortunately everywhere is understaffed but THIS unacceptable when it comes to someone's health.
